This is Hardly a Surprise … Red States’ Income Growing Faster than Blue States’

The choice is yours America, do you want your economic growth to be like a “Red” or “Blue” state?

Let this be a reminder to those in 2012 swing state/battle ground states, Independents and open-minded and concerned Democrats, as reported in USA Toady, Red state’ incomes are growing faster than that of Blue states’. What is most interesting is that when averaged nationally, the robust gains in red states and meager gains in blue states produced a national growth rate remarkably similar to that in the swing states. This is what would be called a trend America. there is a reason why Red states are doing better than the big government, union controlled, high tax blue states. As also stated at The Blaze, “Gee, maybe there’s something to be said about this ‘limited government’ & ‘free market’ stuff, huh?” A note to those in swing states in 2012 … what would you want your state ti be in the next four years, like a red state or blue? The choice is yours in November 2012.

The income of those living in red states has climbed 4.6% since the recession began in December 2007, a USA TODAY analysis of total increases found. The average income of those living in blue states and swing states saw a much slower increase. The personal income of blue states has increased 0.5%, while in the swing states, income increased 1.4%.

Contrary to Obama’s comments, it looks like there is a difference between a Red state America and a Blue state America. Even though a President is supposed to be President of all America, it is obvious what works economically and it ain’t big government, Nanny states.

Income is growing much faster in Republican-leaning “red states” than in Democratic-tilting “blue states” or the pivotal swing states that will decide the 2012 presidential election, a USA TODAY analysis finds.

Personal income in 23 red states has risen 4.6% since the recession began in December 2007, after adjusting for inflation. Income is up just 0.5% in 15 blue states and Washington, D.C., during that time. In the dozen swing states identified by USA TODAY that could vote either way Nov. 6, income has inched ahead 1.4% in 4 ½ years.

Key swing state findings:

•Declines. Four of the 10 slowest growing are swing states: New Hampshire, Michigan, Florida and Nevada. The Silver State’s income plunge is in a class of its own, down 10.8% because of its real estate collapse.

•Gains. Eight of the top 10 states in income growth lean Republican.

What more does it take for Americans to realize what direction America needs to go in 2012? How much data, how many obvious signs and indicators do Independents and open minded Americans who are concerned with the future of the United States need to rescue our country?

Unbelievable MSM Bias: CNN’s Acosta to Romney … ‘If You Somehow Beat Obama,’ How Would You ‘Assure Blacks You’d Be Their President Also?

This is what passes as a fair and balanced media coverage of the 2012 Presidential election … CNN plays the race card.

Yet another example of the liberal, corrupt media complex bias and just how in the tank they are for President Barack Obama. The following question from the MSM is just disgusting and offensive.  CNN’s Jim Acosta on Tuesday’s Situation Room asked Mitt Romney the following truly offensive question:

“If you were to somehow beat the first African-American president, what would you say to the black community to assure them that you would be their president also?”

Um, “If you were to somehow beat the first African-American president”? Forget the race baiting question for starts, “somehow” beat Obama? Really CNN? There has been 43 consecutive months of unemployment over 8%, the real unemployment number is twice that, college graduates cannot find jobs, there are record number of individuals on food stamps, the medium income as fallen sharply under Obama and basically the job growth and economy is just terrible. With an economy in such disarray, a foreign policy that is not on fire in the Middle East, a President that has failed to live up to his “Hope & Change” promises and a close campaign, is it really a stretch to believe that Obama could lose?

From NewsBusters:

JIM ACOSTA, CNN: African-Americans have a tremendous sense of pride that there is the first African-American president in the White House. If you were to somehow beat the first African-American president, what would you say to the black community to assure them that you would be their president also?

MITT ROMNEY: I want to be the president of all the people of America. I want to help all the people of America. You don’t get into a race like this with myself and my family and do the kind of work and commitment that we’ve put forward without the passion to help all of America. And the people who really need the help right now are the people in the middle class, people who have fallen into poverty. I know how to get them help. The president doesn’t.

Just curious, will CNN ask Obama whether he is going to be the President for white America? How about the President for the Tea Party? How about those that are against higher taxes and lower federal spending? How about President for those who oppose Obamacare? How about those who actually call the war on terror, the war on terror and radical Islam? How about for those who are unemployed and disagree with Obama’s failed economic policies? How about for those who cling to their Bibles and guns?

Of course not. As stated by the Gateway Pundit, “what is more shocking, is that Acosta has no idea how biased he is. Nor does he care.”

Where is the MSM? Remember When Obama Trashed Republicans for High Gas Prices During 2008 Election

REMEMBER WHEN GAS WAS UNDER $2/GAL? OF COURSE NOT, THAT WOULD REQUIRE THE MEDIA TO ACTUALLY CARE TO REPORT IT.

Remember when Barack Obama was trashing Republicans for the high price of gas during the 2008 Presidential election? The gas prices have more than doubled, $1.84 to $3.85, since Obama took office, yet the silence in deafening from the MSM informing America. The corrupt liberal media complex is so in the tank, pardon the pun, that it would be simply unheard of for the media to remind America that they are not better off today than they were four years ago.

From CNS News:

Average retail gasoline prices have more than doubled under President Obama, according to government statistics, rising from $1.84 per gallon to $3.85 per gallon.

The average gasoline price is calculated by the Energy Information Agency, and shows that over the past 43 months of President Obama’s term retail gasoline prices have more than doubled, rising from an average of $1.84 per gallon to $3.85 per gallon.

Rising gasoline prices were particularly prevalent in August, which saw a 9.0 percent rise in the Consumer Price Index (CPI) for gasoline, a rise that almost entirely accounts for the general increase in prices seen by families across the country over the past month.

Just curious, what energy independence plan did Obama come up with in the last four years? Question two, who thinks if Obama was a Republican that the price of gas and unemployment rate would lead every new broadcast?

Barack Obama Says His Biggest Failure is Comprehensive Immigratiion Reform, Not JOBS or the US Economy

UNBELIEVABLE … President Barack Obama says his greatest failure in the last four years is not passing comprehensive Immigration reform. Not the +8% unemployment in America, not the 23 million unemployed/underemployed Americans, not the record number of people on food stamps, not the the US has continuous dropped in competitiveness and not the record $16 trillion debt. I guess that is why Obama could not remember what the debt was when he tool office when he was on David Letterman, it was not all that important to him. Instead Obama would rather pander to a Hispanic audience.

Mitt Romney Slams Obama For Saying He Can’t Change Washington From Inside … So Much for Change You Can Believe In

Romney says Obama has thrown in the white flag of surrender again …

On the campaign trail Mitt Romney slammed President Barack Obama’s comments that he could not change Washington from the inside. Romney had a fantastic response to Obama’s weak “I can’t change Washington” comment. Romney vowed to give Obama that chance to making change from the outside with a presidential election win in November 2012. It is time for a new President when Obama waives the white flag of change surrender. Obama has gone from the candidate of change and “YES I CAN” to “NO I CAN’T”. Barack Obama promised change and now he is the one who cannot get change even though he had a Democrat House and Senate for the first two years of his presidency.

Mitt Romney says he will make changes from the inside, he will bring Republicans and Democrats together and restore the American economy. Maybe Obama should have spent more time governing and leading, reaching across the aisle as he promised, and not campaigning, golfing, vacationing and causing a greater divide. Just a thought.

Hot Air has more on Obama’s failure to be able to influence Washington as the Leader of the Free World. Um, wasn’t this the rason why he was elected in the first place?

Okay, hold the phone — the President of the United States is powerless to influence Washington’s inner workings? I thought that was supposed to be the entire point of America electing him?
