It would appear that South Carolina Republican Representative was not too far off the mark after all. As Democrats see the poll numbers slipping with Obamacare and liberals find them self losing political ground on immigration as well, The Washington Times is reporting that House Democrats is pushing back and arguing that any health care bill should extend some access to illegal immigrants.
Fearful that they’re losing ground on immigration and health care, a group of House Democrats is pushing back and arguing that any health care bill should extend to all legal immigrants and allow illegal immigrants some access.
The Democrats, trying to stiffen their party’s spines on the contentious issue, say it’s unfair to bar illegal immigrants from paying their own way in a government-sponsored exchange. Legal immigrants, they say, regardless of how long they’ve been in the United States, should be able to get government-subsidized health care if they meet the other eligibility requirements.
Remember what Obama said? Following this comment, Joe Wilson shouted, “You lie!” But did he? From what liberals look to be pushing for illegals to have access to tax payer sponsored and paid for healthcare, it looks like Wilson was spot on.
“There are also those who claim that our reform efforts would insure illegal immigrants. This, too, is false. The reforms — the reforms I’m proposing would not apply to those who are here illegally”.
Didn’t the liberals get Obama’s memo or listen during his speech during the joint session of Congress? Because they are proposing something quite different. Who owes who an apology?

I laugh each time I see a hand held poster, at a Tea Party, which is sooo recognizable and associative, saying only — “you lie”. Come election time 2010 school children could have a sixth grade reader series, of posters, varriations by chapter of Obama lies.

Here’s what is going on folks. The Democrats need more bodies to pay for health care. Even though they know that government controlled health care can’t be paid for – if they could count the illegals they think they could make their case more believable.
You see there are more Jack Hammers running around that believe what they are told by the lying government. So add 20,000 to the health care premium payers (even though you and I know that what will really happen is that 20,000 more will be added to those needing subsidies) and that reduces the bill we all are going to pay. Cut insurance costs so people who aren’t covered at work can afford insurance. Let’s say Joe Schmo the ceo.. takes a smaller salary instead of charging outrageous fees to afford 6 mansions etc.. cut the price of prescriptions for the same reason, and stop charging such outrageous medical fees. I don’t see how opening up 40 more red tape bureaus in govt.. will solve anything.
