When is “illegal” not illegal? When it comes to immigrants who come to America illegally. High unemployment and maxed out social services be damned … it is all about a political strategy for Obama. Make those legal who would vote for you.
President Obama and the Democrats look to further push their socialist agenda to legalize millions of illegal immigrants. In a time where more and more Americans find themselves unemployed and a national unemployment number is near 10%, Obama looks to flood the market with more workers and individuals who will exacerbate the social services of the United States. Looks like amnesty, no “Shamnesty” is back on the table.
Obama has not taken care of the banking situation or the troubles with the US economy. Obama has not dealt with North Korea or Iran. All he has managed to do is apologize for America and not bother to explain the good that America does in the world.
With everything that America faces, how does it make sense to deal with the illegal immigration issue now? Why does it appear that Obama is trying to ram every socialist, liberal agenda down America’s throat as fast as humanly possible? Is it because he fears that eventually Americans might wake up from watching reality TV and realize the “reality” of what Obama’s change was really all about.
As reported in the New York Times:
While acknowledging that the recession makes the political battle more difficult, President Obama plans to begin addressing the country’s immigration system this year, including looking for a path for illegal immigrants to become legal, a senior administration official said on Wednesday.
Mr. Obama will frame the new effort — likely to rouse passions on all sides of the highly divisive issue — as “policy reform that controls immigration and makes it an orderly system,” said the official, Cecilia Muñoz, deputy assistant to the president and director of intergovernmental affairs in the White House.
Mr. Obama plans to speak publicly about the issue in May, administration officials said, and over the summer he will convene working groups, including lawmakers from both parties and a range of immigration groups, to begin discussing possible legislation for as early as this fall.
Why would anyone make such a push for the legalization of illegals when American find themselves unemployed? For the voting constituency silly. Also, as the Gateway Pundit states, this move will enslave America under their socialist agenda for decades.

I agree that Obama is deranged. I’m just surprised you were willing to put it in print. Anyone who thinks adding 30 million people to the rolls of the unemployed is a good idea certainly can’t be in their right mind.
But here’s the good side. If we do wave a magic wand and make illegal people bamwow legal – indeed each individual’s share of the USA’s catastrophic debt will become smaller. Of course there will be less jobs, more people sharing the “social benefits” of society and more people to partake of that universal health care yo yo wants – which means more rationing of all these “benefits” O’s promised you all.

In the 2008 election Obama and the liberal media convinced America the economic crisis was the worst since the great depression. Everyone lost confidence in the economy and started to spend less. Even after being elected he continued the same rhetoric. Americans are now paying a high price for that continued mantra. Obama is now in his 3rd month as President, unemployment continues to rise and consumer confidence is still low. Obama has signed a stimulus bill nobody read, signed an omnibus bill full of pork, pushing for big unions (can you say goodbye GM), universal health care (just don’t get too sick) and increased spending for education (we spend more than any country). The financial system is a train wreck, he can’t fill his cabinet (even though he had the smoothest transition in the history) and is barrowing, printing and spending more money than any President in history. Despite Obama’s INCOMPETENCE— the U.S. will survive. That’s if we get rid of the “tax and spend” horror show that is Nancy Pelosi, Barney “Fannie Mae” Franks, Chris “AIG” Dodd and Harry “earmark” Reid. Since this group has gained the majority in 2007 the economy has tanked ever since. They had oversight of all the financial, banking and housing committees and look where we are now.

When Ronald Reagan gave amnesty in 1986, it just floored me. I could not believe it. I really thought Reagan and I saw face to face on every thing. For the life of me and to this day, I don’t understand it.
I guess it goes to show, we are all human. We all make mistakes, and I feel like this one was a big one.
In the business, I had at the time, we had for months illegal aliens trying to get me to sign an affidavit that I had seen them and done business with them before the deadline for amnesty. Problem (for them) is I kept meticulous records, and I hadn’t done business with any of the dozens of illegal aliens that said I did. How many others did they talk into doing just such? How many flocked to this country to get amnesty? The answer—who knows. How many brought mothers, fathers, brothers, etc.
Even though my Dad’s family came to this country, before it was a country, my Mom’s did not. I do understand legal immigration. It’s the illegal I have trouble with, especially we they still swear allegiance to the country they came from.
Ronald Reagan was a great President. Just fantastically great. He did away with the 5-year income averaging. It really cost me dearly, but I simply loved the guy. I was so proud to have voted for him.

My boyfriend is illegal and he was brought here at the age of eleven this is all he knows he would be lost in mexico, and his english is better than most Americans. We should not punish people who were only children for their parents mistakes. he would be a huge asset for this country he is smart and talented these are people not parasites. learn to not be such ignorant americans
