Oops, she did it again!!! Being uniformed seems to be a prerequisite of Obama cabinet members. It’s amateur hour at the Obama White House happens again …with the following comments of “who painted it” and “you have a marvelous virgin” … WTF
During a recent visit to Mexico, Sec. of State Hillary Clinton went to the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe and laid followers. After observing the image of Our Lady of Guadalupe, Hillary asked the unthinkable and uniformed questions, “who painted it.”
Msgr. Monroy took Mrs. Clinton to the famous image of Our Lady of Guadalupe, which had been previously lowered from its usual altar for the occasion.
After observing it for a while, Mrs. Clinton asked “who painted it?” to which Msgr. Monroy responded “God!”
First it was Hillary messing up the Russian translation of “overcharge” and the reset button gaffe.
As Hot Air stated, it would appear that Barack Obama is not the only amateur, apparently. Being an amateur is not just relegated to Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner, it would appear have been a necessary requirement for all Obama cabinet members. One would think that maybe, just maybe that a Secretary of State would be briefed on the place they were attending? How could Obama cabinet members continually be unprepared? Wizbang brings up the point that one can only imagine the media coverage if Condelezza Rice had made the same gaffe.
The Anchoress further adds that this must be more of that Obama change that was promises:
Doh! Another State Department error! It’s a good thing we have a “smart” State Department, now, instead of the “dumb” one we had for the last 8 years!

Military Intelligence Official Charged With Running Sex Slave Ring

An official with the Defense Ministry’s intelligence branch has been charged with leading an international crime ring trafficking women as sex slaves, a senior investigator said Friday.
The official, a colonel in the ministry’s Main Intelligence Directorate, or GRU, led a crime syndicate that trafficked more than 130 women from Russia and former Soviet republics to work as prostitutes from 1999 to 2007, said Alexander Sorochkin, head of the Investigative Committee’s military investigations directorate, RIA-Novosti reported.
Sorochkin did not release the official’s name.
A total of 13 suspects in the case stand accused of human trafficking, running prostitution rings, forgery, organizing illegal migration and forcing women and minors to work as prostitutes under the threat of violence, Sorochkin said.
Ten of the suspects have been placed under arrest, while the remaining three have been released after it was determined that they were not flight risks, he said.
Repeated calls to the Investigative Committee’s military investigations spokesman, Sergei Zhukov, and to the GRU press office went unanswered Friday. Defense Ministry spokesman Alexander Drobyshevsky said he had no information on the case.
The crime syndicate sold women from Russia, Uzbekistan, Moldova, Ukraine and Belarus into sex slavery in several European and Middle East countries, including Isreal, Italy, German, Greece, the Netherlands and United Arab Emirates, Sorochkin said, RIA-Novosti reported.
The countries to where the women were purportedly trafficked are major destinations for sex slaves from former Soviet countries, Afsona Kadyrova, a lawyer with the Angel Coalition, an umbrella organization of anti-trafficking NGOs operating in nine Russian regions, told The Moscow Times.
In the past two years, the number of women trafficked from former Soviet countries to work in the sex trade has decreased due to rising living standards and increased awareness by potential victims about plots to lure women into forced prostitution, Kadyrova said.

That is the question. Um, if you are the SEC of ST of the US and you are attending a place, one might want to be briefed on what it is so that you do not look like a fool asking a question like … who painted it.

I believe if you look into the history of Our Lady at Guadalupe, her appearance brought to light the human sacrifices that were taking place in Mexico. It was considered a miracle and a statue was carved out in her image. My bet is that these varmints were chased south into Central America, South America and pushed out into the Caribbean. Either way they’ve been there for some time… and, still, exist.
Why do you think all three suspects, especially, Deepak had a fit when Beth made the statement that Natalee was a virgin? Obviously, she touched a nerve and all he could do is spit out lies and attacks. This problem is not imaginary.
One can only hope that she get a staff that
knows what’s going on in this world…

I had written 3 paragraphs about this, but it’s more simple than that. I am a non Mexican Catholic who acknowledges the appearance of Our Lady of Guadalupe as divine. I am once again shocked over the lack of professionalism in this new administration. When will they get it together?
