REVERSAL OF FORTUNE FOR OBAMA IN MINNESOTA POLLS … LAND OF 10,000 HEADACHES
Who knew that Minnesota would be a battleground state in the 2008 election? The 
Democrats and the Obama campaign sure did not. There is more trouble in paradise for Barack Obama in the polls, this time the state is Minnesota. The one time 13 point lead in the Land of 1000 lakes has for Barack Obama has all but evaporated and a new Star Tribune Minnesota Poll shows that it is a dead heat between McCain and Obama. This is now beginning to be a trend everywhere as even once safe Washington State, Obama only up by 2. The McCain/Pail snowball is rolling down hill and picking up momentum everywhere.
Minnesota has become a battleground in a presidential campaign that has dramatically tightened nationwide.
A new Star Tribune Minnesota Poll shows that the race is now a dead heat between Barack Obama and John McCain, each supported by 45 percent of likely voters in the state.
The poll found that McCain has made gains across the board since a May Minnesota Poll that showed him trailing by 13 points. He has picked up considerable support among men and to a lesser degree among women. He also has boosted his standing with whites, young voters and all levels of household income and education.
Powerline is cautiously hopeful of these new polls and points out that between the boost from the RNC, a decisive win for Norm Coleman running for US Senate and the popularity of Governor Tim Pawlenty … it is possible.

The continual trend since the Republican National Convention and McCain’s pick of Sarah Palin has been one of extending leads in red states, making pink states red and making one time purple and even blue states now in play. The end result is that Obama will have to use money and resources in states that he never dreamed he had to only a month ago. Sarah Palin was 100% correct when she made the comment that Obama regretted not picking Hillary Clinton as his running mate. However, you will never get him to admit it event hough his VP choice Biden has.
Strata-Sphere points out that the O-Bomba’s “Arrogance-Express” Is Derailing. Yes they are. Just as they were unwilling to listen and pull the trigger on picking Hillary, they are also unwilling to listen as to how to stop the bleeding poll numbers.

any time a senior citizen, a White woman, walking through a mall, can get spit on by a Black gang, for wearing a McCain T-Shirt is degredation to American values. I know this happened because the senior citizen was me.
the more obama lies and obfuscates, the more supporters he loses. if the mass media had not been so afraid of being called racists, and quizzed him half as hard as they have palin, he’d be hightailing it back to chicago all ready. but they’ve let him get away with bald-faced lies for so long now they couldn’t do it now regardless of how they think.

Compared to an identical SurveyUSA poll released one week ago, immediately following the Republican National Convention, Obama is up 3 points; McCain is down 3. The movement solidifies Virginia place as America’s 2008 battleground.

Wow Caesu! Impressed you used my local news (WDBJ7). The leaning to Obama is due to the Richmond area. Many democrats I know are voting for McCain and have told me so (not all though).
We’ll see soon enough. I do feel McCain will prevail. He’s NOT another Bush, he’s a maverick for reform which is what Washington needs. As many times as he’s gone against Bush, I am at a loss why the other side is expressing he’ll be “more of the same.”
By the way, I have voted Democrat now and then, but never for Pres. Did vote for the little guy with the big ears the year Clinton one because I did not think the Rep. candidate was strong enough and didn’t care a thing for Clinton. Sometimes in local elections to (like our local Sheriff that we all love very, much and a few council members I know are concerned for the community) I truly do not think Obama would be good for our Nation. Too weak…not real guts. His wife would be a better pres and I think we’d have a reply of the Clinton/Clinton White House with the Mrs. having more influence than anyone.

Caesu I respect your opinion, don’t agree with it all all.. My son wants Obama to win..and he dislikes Bush. Some of it is based on trying to work with him the past 4 years on work related stuff to help blue collar workers.

Let’s talk about credibility, when reading this article I did not even vanquish the first paragraph when I read you ridiculously referred to Minnesota as the Land of 1000 Lakes.
