Would someone like to explain how the difference between the drug and money laundering cases in Aruba is different from the Natalee Holloway investigation?
The Aruban police have arrested two more suspects in the large scale drug dealing and money laundering investigation. Its amazing what the Aruban police can do when they set their minds to it. Here is a rather interesting comment when it comes to the arrests of suspects in Aruba. So when a magistrate extends custody for 60 days, they have hard evidence in hand? We can remember that Joran Van der Sloot, Deepak and Satish Kalpoe’s custody stays were extended. What’s the difference?
Since September 24th, the OM has arrested a total of ten persons that are involved in drug operations. Of the first eight, only one was released up till now. The examining magistrate has decided to extend the custody of the other seven with another 60 days. This means that the OM has hard evidence in hands.
Why was this investigation handled in a more thorough and professional manner than say the Natalee Holloway missing persons case? We were told that the Aruban police were overwhelmed by the enormity of the case. It would appear that a drug and money laundering long term surveillance and investigation would be quite an intricate and difficult job. So then it was not police incompetence, but something more? What would it look like or people say if everyone that was arrested in this drug and money laundering were released and never prosecuted?

ORANJESTAD – We just learned now that the police have arrested two new suspects as part of the large-scale judicial investigation into drug dealings and money laundering. One of the two suspects was arrested yesterday on the basis of National ordinance Admission and Deportation. The other person was arrested for taking part in a criminal organization, money laundering, and drug dealing.
Since September 24th, the OM has arrested a total of ten persons that are involved in drug operations. Of the first eight, only one was released up till now. The examining magistrate has decided to extend the custody of the other seven with another 60 days. This means that the OM has hard evidence in hands.
Last month’s action resulted from an investigation of the Detective Cooperative Team (RST) in Aruba, which investigation has been going for a long time and was started under the direction of the Public Prosecutor. Also six persons were arrested under suspicion of staying illegally on the island.
The RST was assisted by a great number of colleagues of the Police Corps Aruba (KPA) and of the Customs Department. Financial- and digital experts from the Netherlands have supported the action.
The special squad was called in to assist in the arrest of some dangerous armed suspects. Because the operation was so big, also the special squad from Curacao was called in to help their colleagues in Aruba. Also special sniffer dogs of the Corps National Police Service (KLPD) from the Netherlands were put in to search for hidden drugs and money. One of the suspects is the well-known businessman Luis Mansur (63), who fired his gun when the police entered his home.
His permanent pilot, E.T. was also arrested recently. His house was search and weapons were found. He is in custody for further interrogation by the RST.

Thats why this horrible government is so dispicable….it only bothers and make their laws stick to ppl they dont like or that has no money…but where is the hard evidence they had to have had on URINE. I wish someone would go to Holland and take URINE for a ride….if you get my drift….or karin…..or anyone of the pimps…being they have to sleep with there mommys they would break easy enough….

Vicky Aruba helped Joran and Paulus disposed of natalee!This is what I believe.I believe Aruba did it to protect C&C’s and their tourest trade.I also don’t think Natalee is in the ocean.Because to put her in a crab trap would have been to messy and to much work for Paulus and Joran.I believe they cremated Natalee’s body.Hence no body no case not even a tooth.The best thing to do is boycott them into hell!!!

Maybe there are ministers of drug money laundering, murder and corruption who are thinking that a couple of arrests are supposed to make the human rights violations inflicted on an American CHILD, Natalee and aided by perhaps – employees of the GOVERNMENT – just disappear?
I believe strongly that Aruba will take action against the drug dealers and their kith and kin who are not ‘registered’ with the authorities; i.e., not paying off the right people.
That only clears the way for the ‘in’ gangs to expand their own trade. It also makes Aruba look good to Washington; “Hey, look at all the drug arrests we’re making. We’re on your side!”
In other words, the insiders continue to get out of jail free, and collect a lot more than $200.
Remember, if Beth hadn’t been so strong, Natalee’s disappearance would have been ‘solved’ with the conviction of the two black security guards, courtesy Joran van der Sloot and other slime.
I don’t post here that often, but I do read some of what is posted. I am wondering what people think really happened to Natalee that night and where she is now? Also, do you think her family will ever get the the peace and closure they deserve?

Now with the dutch law relatively similar to Aruban law and most likely a lack of well educated local arubans into law enforcement and prosecution, the best chance the aruban politicians have to find highly qualified and more importantly experienced law enforcement officials and prosecutors. That is why they fish in the same pool of employees that the dutch (country) and Netherlands Antilles government get’s it’s officials from. These people then move/immigrate to Aruba and are no longer “dutch officials working for the dutch government” but they in reality have become “Aruban officials that happen to be born in the country of the Netherlands”. This whole case was run from day one to the present day by Aruban officials, that have been hired by the Aruban government. They all have the dutch nationality because all members of the commonwealth are dutch (most of them are probably born in the dutch mainland) but they all are Aruban officials with regard to accountability and control.

A regrettable incident: So was Natalee’s kidnapping and disappearance regrettable and just how involved was your son? You can’t protect him because he is not considered a Dutch National so you have to draw attention away from him.
You have the background of Aruba’s government summed up well 1906, and I suppose questions now come into play since this incident involves an American child in international territory.
I very much have to disagree though about the impression you have concerning the Aruban police.
You see, they (some of them – at least) were trained in the United States under our FBI, which means that Van der Straaten – the corrupt law enforcement official in charge, as well as Dompig and Jacobs all were well aware of what they needed to do, what action they needed to immediately take, particularly in the case of a missing child from the United States.
Funny thing is, they kept telling the press that the “FBI is working closely with us” – only for the FBI to be put in the position to literally correct these statements several times.
On one occasion, the press was told by Police officials – or, whoever they had feeding the lies for that day to the press, that the FBI was searching the water for Natalee. This stated in the very early days of her initially being reported as “missing”.
Within days, FBI officials corrected the statement to the press saying: no one ever set foot in the water.
On another occasion, the press was told – again a big lie, that the FBI was involved in the “search” of John and Jones property.
Guess what? Another lie. FBI officials again corrected that lie told to the press.
It’s made me wonder: why were police and prosecutor officials feeding LIES to the media concerning the role that the FBI was playing, only for the United States FBI spokesperson to be placed in a position of having to publicly correct the lie being told. How many times can you get it “wrong” about FBI INVOLVEMENT, 1906?
And when you look at what was being TOLD to the media, vs. what Karin Janssen and Van der Straaten were ordering their police officers to do and NOT DO….it sure does begin to look very VERY suspicious concerning the level of manipulation of the press that was going on, coinciding with the the purposeful INACTION taking place regarding 3 men, who police knew were lying on the morning of May 30, 2005. Quite an interesting dynamic, wouldn’t you say?
It’s always struck me as so deceptively manipulative that the same corrupt police who waited ten days to get up and interrogate Joran, Deepak, Satish – and eventually Paulus, didn’t have any trouble taking action when the skin of the men selected as targets for framing, and therefore, questioning were INNOCENT BLACK MEN.
But I think you are onto something about the fact that the Netherlands very much has a role concerning Aruba, since Natalee’s case goes beyond their “local” level, and does indeed enter into the “foreign” side of matters.

Those that were trained knew exactly how to investigate the crime and sanitize the evidence.

A cousin from Deepak could be Michael Dompig or his girlfried.
If it happened there, then there were more then four attackers and perhaps some were female.
Previously, there have been postings that Natalee is buried under the shed at the Van der Sloots. Again it makes no sense when the gold mine air shafts are less then 15 minutes from Montana.
Sorry; this just does not cut it. Why would Paulus risk having Natalee buried there unless he is forced to because of something else either he or Joran did. Also cadaver dogs can tell the difference from rotting fish and a human decomposition.
The water search will tell us, if Natalee is not there, then I say human trafficing took place!

am genuinely a nice, peaceful guy, as a rule. You can do most anything to me personally, call me names, throw things, etc. and I will not get mad. To make me fight, you are going to have to hit me, fairly hard, before I will respond. But if you attack my family or the people I like I respond like Michael Vick’s favorite pit bull, how is that for a worn out cliché, would, blind rage, take no prisoners, no holds barred. I have a special affection for Beth. I am a few years older than her and grew up on the same block with her from the day she was born until I left for college. I can still remember her parents holding her walking across their yard bringing her home from the hospital, and I thought she was the prettiest little thing I had ever seen. My relationship has continued with her and been extended to her children. While I may have occasionally gotten irritated with her over this or that, I simply see red when someone else attacks, threatens, hurts her, hurts her children, physically or emotionally and I have been known to actually punch someone in the nose if they make her cry, mostly when we were growing up. I guess I felt like it was my role to protect her, even though she is obviously able to protect herself now. She has whipped that entire island for a couple of years now. However I still react the same way. Am I proud of that? No, I guess not, at least that is what I have been taught is the correct thing to say. I Those people talked so ugly about her, her family, etc. that I typed the meanest ugliest words I could think of just wanting to hurt those posters for hurting Beth. So when you read them, be prepared for a lot of ugly thoughts to be expressed. And I confess, I said them, and at the time I meant them to hurt. In hindsight some of the remarks were void of any class and just plain dumb. I apologize in advance for the vulgarity. Even those vile mean people were discussing how angry I seemed. If we could have all been put in the same room, with them within hands reach of me, they really would have had to talk about though, because I would have no doubt taught them to pay proper respects to a grieving mother. A lesson they obviously need to learn. And bear in mind, those are my words, my emotions, my opinions, and do not represent or speak for Beth. Monday morning at the police station MAY 30th..it had to be because of Natalee..so what was reported to them…was it the chaperon that remained on the island…was it a witness that saw them doing something with Natalee…Dennis Jacobs asks Dave how much money he’s got…what did the police already know before Natalee’s family arrived on the island? Was he indicating that money would bring Natalee back or was he asking for money in exchange for information?
Brie, you’re pointing out something I’ve long thought. That is, the infamous question “How much money have you got?” could well have been a prelude to an attempt to see if Natalee could be ransomed, implying that Jacobs knew or had an idea who had her.
Of course, it might also have been an attempt to give Natalee’s parents the IMPRESSION that he could arrange a ransom … and then probably it would somehow “all fall through” and he’d keep the money.
Also glad that I’m not the only one who thinks it possible that Aruban girls might have been involved in whatever happened to Natalee. If they were on drugs and thought she was a “threat” to them (assuming her involuntary presence at a rave party), they might have taken delight in subjecting her to abuse.
Face it: Natalee was extremely attractive, very much evocative (in my view, anyway) of the average teen’s idea of the Hollywood movie star.
I know, she was also educated, intelligent, and a decent person. But for those who look no farther than appearance, she had that too.
And that might well have ignited female fury, especially if she were helpless and the other girls thought it was “ok” to subject her to torment … and, possibly, to sell her into slavery.
