Another Man Arrested After Selling Pot from Ice Cream Truck … Pot-sicles anyone?
Another individual, this time in Southwestern Michigan, has been arrested for selling marijuana out of an ice cream truck. Get your ice cream, your Popsicles and and marijuana all in the same one stop shop. This is not the first time that Pot-sicles have been discovered being sold from ice cream trucks.
After authorities got tips about the alleged pot-peddler, a deputy “heard jingling bells” about 2 p.m. Thursday and saw the ice cream truck entering a mobile home park, Berrien County sheriff’s Lt. Keith Hafer said in a written statement.
Deputy John Hopkins stopped the truck, spoke with the driver and “detected the odor of marijuana coming from the truck (along with tutti-frutti and a couple other flavors),” Hafer wrote.
The 36-year-old suspect was jailed while awaiting arraignment on charges of marijuana possession with intent to deliver and maintaining a drug vehicle. He also faces an outstanding warrant for skipping child support, Hafer said. (Fox News)
We guess it could be worse. The police searching the vehicle after detecting the smell of pot could have discovered this bizarre find.
