They Eat Their Own: Sheehan Now Blasting Democrats

Mediawhoring_for_dummies_sheehanYou knew this would happen, Cindy Sheehan thinks that she is the architect of the Democratic victory in the 2006 elections. Now she is demanding that the Democratic Party end the war in Iraq immediately, or face the consequences.

“They got there and they betrayed the grass roots that put them back there,” she said. “We can’t depend on the Democrats.”
The Democrats are locked in a bitter struggle with Bush over an emergency war funding bill that would set a timetable calling for a withdrawal of US forces from the strife-torn country in 2008.
“The timeline is now, not 18 months, not two years,” said Sheehan.
The anti-war movement “lost a little momentum during the elections, but it’s picking up again” because “the Democrats aren’t really doing anything” to end the conflict, she said. via AFP

Now I would love to see ol Nancy Pelosi stay in the country and work on creating a peace accord for her own party instead of creating a mess in the Middle East. Of course, it may be that she see’s a better chance of success in the Middle East than in the Democratic Party.

Better yet, send her and Nancy to the Texas border and have them yell “Immigration” at the top of their lungs. That should solve all our problems. If the mexican drug runners don’t get them, maybe, just maybe or border patrol will!

My dad’s brother in law was a tx boarder guard in the 50′s. Before I was born, he was ambushed by illegals, shot and killed with his service revolver.

No one was ever brought up on charges, nor was his service revolver even recovered. yes! close the boarders and I say put about 100,000,000 volts on the fence!!!!!

As a former law enforcement officer, I say we need more than a little bit of wire fence that zaps. There are real bad guys (and gals) that are coming over in droves. Seen it in person as in been there done that. Seen their work up close and personal.

Its a shame that these vocal activists don’t take on their own back yard instead of raising their voices about things they really know nothing about. I understand the mom thing, again, been there done that, and sympathize with her loss, but jeeeeez. Lady, let him rest in peace. Direct your efforts in the same direction as your son’s and work on this country in some kind of meaningful manner to better it, not destroy it. Better yet, hey media, hit the issues on the airwaves not overdone, overrated, non-interesting drivel like this story.

    12. Brenda on April 12th, 2007 10:38 am

Tammy, thx for a nice post. Yes, I do agree MUCH more than zapping from a fence is necessary.

What many people are too stupid to understand is that THESE PEOPLE COMING IN ILLEGALLY ARE CRIMINALS THE MOMENT THEY CROSS THE BOARDER!!! Not only that, but they’d have taken the time to come in LEGALLY if they were truly good in the first place. They are here for what they can get (or take) and have no intention of giving back in any way.

Thanks for your service an as officer. I was a dispatcher/communications officer. I also saw first hand in my little college town how when internation students were arrested for drunk in public or whatever, they could hardly be touched without contacting the embassy. Many pretended not to be able to speak English, yet they are enrolled in a Virginia University????!!!

My idea is put sharpshooters on the our side of the fence to finish off those who do make it through. If that happens, good chance I WILL sign up for that. NO PROBLEM!

My husband and I own nearly 300 acres of land up against Jefferson National Forrest and running off trespassers/poachers is a common event. I always 100% of the time stay armed up there for good reason. It can only be worse when dealing with those who our government can’t legally do much about.

Time to wake up left-wing idiots!!! (Not many dare mess with Monkeys very often, but at least we can talk about them amoungst ourselves :>)

    13. Tammy on April 13th, 2007 2:27 pm

Hey Brenda, don’t blame you at all for being armed. It’s only prudent in this day and age.

The problem here in Texas is that the mexican prisons and mental hospitals are turning loose their inmates and physically taking them to the border and helping them to cross into the US. Most of them were bad before they even got close to the border. They are not their problem anymore at that point. There are also the drug cartels that have running operations (and running gun battles) up into the US (know only about the Texas side but suspect it all the way across to Cali) and further into our borders than most people are ever aware of. I’m sure they don’t just stop in Texas. They just keep going until they get caught (catch and release program ~ another long post in itself)or killed. (Never found one that made a turn around, led a productive and law abiding life and became a US Citizen.) While they are on our soil they don’t stop their way of life nor care one whit as to who they kill or injure or how far they go. They have the guns and very little in the way of US defense to stop them. This of course is not brought up by the main stream media or the activists or politicians that have a very narrow minded point of reference and agendas that they don’t think about what is at their doorstep let alone what is coming. The words around here are ‘silent invasion’. Terrorist acts aimed at the US or its’ citizens are included in this group as far as I am concerned(shades of Sheehan again sneaking in). Wake up politicians, activists and talk show personas! Do something before we HAVE NO CHOICE but to take care of the problem ourselves for our own protection and that of our families.

There is an interesting perspective in my current office. We have Mexican, Canadian, Brazilian, Egyptian and others. All of these employee’s have either work visa’s (some sponsered by us) or have earned their citizenship (for which we threw each a party) and proudly display an american flag at their desks. They worked for the citizenship and for a degree or professional training in their chosen fields and are proud of it. They get more incensed about illegal aliens that most US citizens do because they worked so hard for it. It get’s interesting around here some times when all these marches for Aliens take place (frequently lately). They make it a point each and every time this happens to make sure everyone, at least around here, understands the words “Illegal Aliens”.

I’m off my soap box now. Thanks for the time~
