A Battle Royal Democratic Rumble: Cindy Sheehan Vs. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi

Could it get any better than this? Peace activists and all around “PITA” is threatening to challenge and run against Democratic House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. If Pelosi does not put forth articles of impeachment against President George W. Bush, Sheehan will run against the SF Democrat in 2008. What a choice, pick your poison.

Sheehan-chavez-

(Cindy Sheehan & Ven. President Hugo Chavez)

Sheehan said she will run against the San Francisco Democrat in 2008 as an independent if Pelosi does not seek by July 23 to impeach Bush. That’s when Sheehan and her supporters are to arrive in Washington, D.C., after a 13-day caravan and walking tour starting next week from the group’s war protest site near Bush’s Crawford ranch.

Democrats and Americans feel betrayed by the Democratic leadership,” Sheehan told The Associated Press. “We hired them to bring an end to the war. I’m not too far from San Francisco, so it wouldn’t be too big of a move for me. I would give her a run for her money.” (WCBS-TV)

The Dems have no one to blame but themselves on this one. They cannot blame Bush, Cheney or Haliburton. This is what happens when one panders to the ‘moonbat” contingent to win an election. Frankly, Cindy Sheehan as scary as it sounds actually has a point. We can hardly wait for this to come to fruition.

As The Gateway Pundit stated, Pelosi … Sheehan, “now that would be one crazy debate”! And at Blue Crab Boulevard, “Go home, Cindy. You are tiresome. Oh, and Nancy: your pigeons just came home”. Sister Toldjah reminds us that Mother Sheehan, who is apparently trying to reclaim her usefulness to an anti-war movement that no longer needs or wants her.

Her son has turned in his grave so much that I believe she won’t quit until somebody shakes her up. It’s time to LET GO.

i was wrong. i thought having nancy pelosi 3rd in line of succession for the presidency was the scariest thing i could imagine. i was terribly wrong. sheehan in that position ranks up their with being tied to a railroad track and watching a speeding train coming down the track. i’ll need a valium i.v. to get to sleep for a week now.

I read a column a few weeks ago where her ex-husband was interviewed about what she said about her son’s death being for nothing. He was talked about her having her own feelings, suffering, etc., but was adamantly stated that he does not think that his son died in vain, that his children don’t think their brother died in vain, and that Casey was doing what he wanted when he died. It was his second tour by his choice. Just sad…..

I completely agree #6 — just when we thought it couldn’t get worse…..!!! Hope you got some Valium and made it through the night!

    8. Glaswegian on July 9th, 2007 5:45 am

P.S. Does she really think we “hire” politicians? I like to think we make decisions and elect them (and, yes, sometimes later have regrets). As good or bad as our decisions may be it’s a better process than in many countries.

Sounds like Sheehan has let her moment in the spotlight go to her head, and is unable to comprehend that it has been turned off. Push goes to shove; things move to the extreme.

She’s probably sacrificed whatever credibility she may have had at the start, although I’m sure she’ll have some supporters.

OMG, Dennis, you took the words right out of my mouth ( er, off my pc). I couldn’t imagine things getting any worse than Nancy Pelosi…then up pops Cindy…I can’t even imagine it. I believe she should go speak to the parents of Jimmy Regan, killed this past Feb. in Iraq. The dignity with which this family grieves the death of their beloved son, gives honor and dignity to why he chose to fight for his country!

    11. Freebrid on July 9th, 2007 9:20 am

I thought she gave this up. I guess she couldn’t stay out of the lime light! She must be crazy cause the American people are tired of her. To me she is a disgrace to our country. Her own children and husband (ex) even say she is nuts! Her son made his choice, she should deal with it! To me she only does this cause being in the spot light fuels her, but at the end of the day she has what she started with no self respect! and no respect for her son!

    12. Brenda on July 9th, 2007 10:06 am

#7,,,I am so glad I’m not the only one who has read/seen interviews with the family she does NOT associate with. Apparently, most of the Sheehan clan is against her views re: the war and her son’s death. I also believe her son would be ashamed at her actions. (A couple family members do side with her, but not most….including her son’s father!)

Granted, I have a son and would be devastated should he be killed in war or otherwise, but Cindy’s son made that choice to offer his services to his country…not Cindy.

Most Democrats today are NOT truly democratic in thinking. They are socialists to put it correctly. Same with Republicans…they are trying to lean this way and that to get support and wind up loosing their base. I’m going Independent. Hate I won’t be able to vote in primaries, but at this point I don’t really care. I’m really more Libertarian because I think we should make our own way without government or tax-payer handouts. Creates a need-based society of lazy leeches on the working class.

Cindy Sheehan would destroy this country…but so would Pelosi if given the chance. She is a dangerous creature in my opinion.

Sometimes I think that too much freedom is just as bad as

living with no freedoms at all. Living with too much

freedom, allows people like the Code Pink Crew, Cindy

Sheehack, Alec Baldwin, Rosie O’Donnell and Jane Fondle to

spew their ignorance. God help us all if one of these

brain rotted individuals ever was elected President!!!

“If the terrorists ever came to America, I’d hit them in the

head with my dough rolling pin.” -Jihad Cindy

–In the words of the late Richard Pryor:

      Bi@# you crazy!

BRENDA: there’s not a politician out there that wouldn’t slice your throat if given the chance. look at lil’ Bush. he’s sliced the throat of every tax paying American with his policies and contempt for every American citizen that would like to hear the real truth about what is going on in this country right now. only Bush and his criminal lackeys know for sure !
The Democrats are just as bad. after all, they are politicians in it for the money and the glory. We need a leader who’s main interest is this country and not himself.

    16. Freebrid on July 9th, 2007 12:23 pm

I just saw a news story where Cindy said (Nancy better impeach Bush or she was coming after her job) well boowhoo I’m sure Nancy is shaking in her boots. Give it up Cindy!! you couldn’t get Nancy’s job if you tried, it takes a brain to think, something you don’t have.

    17. Wayne on July 9th, 2007 1:04 pm

Cindy Sheehan is a chemical waste. Her son was brave and honorable she is a sniveling coward and stupid to boot. Cindy, go live with your AH buddies Chavez and Castro they love your type.

    18. Miss-Underestimated on July 9th, 2007 2:35 pm

Oh, look at the happy couple picture. I hear Shindy and Yougo broke up. BoooHooo.

    19. Skyboxx on July 10th, 2007 6:48 am

Obviously, Cindy has NO CHANCE. However it scares ‘ole Nancy and becomes a distraction for her.

Cindy can dislodge Nancy about as much as Dennis Kucinich can win the presidency. These two people just want to stretch their fifteen minutes of fame to say a full 1/2 sitcom.

New on ABC this fall, its the Cindy Sheehan and Dennis Kucinich variety show. They sing all your favorite Sonny and Cher hits as well as give you the latest in political humor and satire Critics call it can’t miss TV. ABC’s new fall line up on Tuesday’s–The Geico Caveman in hillious situations followed by the Cindy & Dennis Show, and then Boston Legal-the later years, only on ABC!

…and what is up with the Birkenstocks? When

you have a pair of sad lookin feets like she does…

Ya need to be shovin’ them dawgs down into

      a hightop sneaker.

superdave, I must agree neither Dems or Reps are what the true definition of those titles stands for any more. Why I honestly will change to independent.

As for misinformation, I’ll continue to do as I do now. I read both liberal and conservative blogs and news reports, then pay close attention to see which leans towards the visible evidence.

Probem is, both sides feel they are right and seem to only justify themselves and their own actions while pointing fingers at each other. Makes me sick. A bunch of babies up their shaking their fists.

I agree with #12 Brenda. I’m sick of working so the Government can appropriate my money and give it to some butt sitters.

Cindy – I hate what she does, but I truly think the woman is sick and needs help. She doesn’t seem to have caught on that she was used by Pelosi to do her dirty work. Pelosi got done with Cindy and threw her away like a rag.

The only thing I think Bush has done is try to push the Ted Kennedy amnesty immigration bill down the throats of 80% of Americans that didn’t want it and felt it was a sham to a country that purports to stand for law and order.

    23. Jon on July 10th, 2007 6:46 pm

Help, Cindy has fallen and she can’t get up!
