MSNBC Clown Keith Olbermann Gets History Lesson Wrong on Abe Lincoln & NV GOP US Senate Candidate Sharron Angle, “Lost a few but won the Big One”

Hey Keith, before you decide to act so smug as if you know it all, you might actually want to do some history fact checking or read a book. File this one under stuck on stupid. Just another case of a loss of  credibility for the far left leaningMSNBC. Far be it from Olbermann or MSNBC to let the facts get in the way of good hate and liberal media bias.

Don’t liberals tout themselves as being so much more smarter than us “We the People?” Are not we constantly reminded that those Tea Party folks are just ignorant, uniformed peasants who cling to their patriotism, guns and bibles. Fret no more America, liberals are as clueless and uninformed as it gets … enter MSNBC’s head dolt, Keith Olbermann.

Because MSNBC has no ratings, many of you may never have seen the following VIDEO where uber-clueless Lib Keith Olbermann goes after GOP Nevada Senate candidate Sharon Angle for her comments regarding Abraham Lincoln and his election record. Angle stated on a radio show, “Well, you know, it`s just like Abraham Lincoln. He lost quite a few. But he won the big one. He won the one that mattered for this country. And really that`s what we`re in”.

Really, just one Keith? Olbermann was so quick so go after Sharon Angle as she is the Tea Party candidate in Nevada going against Democrat incumbent and Senate Majority leader Harry Reid. Reid is presently trailing in the polls so of course the liberal MSM will do every thing to attack Angle. 

Olberman, you might want to check out the American Spectator and see the list of elections that Honest Abe actually did lose. Below are some of the ones that he did lose. Of course the big election he won was in 1860 and 1864 when he was  elected and re-elected President of the United States

1832 — Lost his first race for the state assembly

1842 — Lost a race for Congress to John Hardin (per biographer Sandburg. Lincoln actually came in behind a friend, Edward D. Baker — losing his own Sangamon County delegates to Baker. Later, he would name one of his sons for Baker). Lincoln structures deal that Hardin, Baker and finally himself would each serve back-to-back single terms in Congress.

1856 — Loses the vice-presidential nomination of the new Republican Party to William L. Dayton, a former U.S. Senator from New Jersey. Dayton received 259 votes to Lincoln’s 115, becoming the running mate of John Charles Fremont. Hearing of his defeat, Lincoln laughs and says, “It must be some other Lincoln.”

1858 — Lincoln loses a race for the United States Senate to legendary rival Senator Stephen A. Douglas. In the course of the campaign, the two travel Illinois in what are known to history as the “Lincoln-Douglas” debates. The debates help make Lincoln — and his pro-union, anti-slavery argument — famous.

Hey Keith, are you sure ESPN is not hiring? Maybe you can do more reporting like this stating that there is no way Lebron James would leave Cleveland.

   I dont watch the JERK. I would rather watch Cheaters or some other junk food TV.

   The makeup goes on, the lights come up, the cameras
   point in his direction, and he makes sounds into the
   microphone. Here it is July, and MSNBC is still broadcasting.
   Wonder who’s watching and listening?
