Dr. Conrad Murray Pleads Not Guilty in Death of King of Pop Michael Jackson
Dr. Conrad Murray pleaded not guilty Monday afternoon in an LA court to involuntary manslaughter charges in the death of Michael Jackson.Murray is accused of giving the King of Pop a fatal dose of propofol and pain killers.
In his last hours, Jackson was given propofol, a powerful anesthetic, at a level equivalent to what would be used in “major surgery” and in a manner that did not live up to medical standards, according to the autopsy report released by the coroner’s office yesterday.
This court case has all the makings of a Three Ring Circus. Sure justice must be served; however, this is a reminder to the media that there are numerous other cases out there that need your attention rather than this spectacle.
Dr. Conrad Murray, accused of giving Jackson a fatal dose of an anesthetic to help him sleep, appeared in court in a gray suit and burgundy tie as Jackson’s father Joe, mother Katherine, and siblings LaToya, Jermaine, Tito, Jackie and Randy watched from courtroom seats behind prosecutors.
Neither Murray nor the Jacksons showed much emotion as the six-foot-five Murray entered his plea through his attorney Ed Chernoff, but as he emerged from court, Joe Jackson declared, “My son was murdered.”
Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Keith L. Schwartz set bail for Conrad Murray at $75,000 and forbade Murray from prescribing heavy sedatives.

Nevertheless, the case could have been worse, noted defense attorney and former Jackson lawyer Mark Geragos told “Good Morning America.” Murray could have easily faced more severe charges that could have sent him to prison for life, Geragos said.
“I think that Dr. Murray caught a break when they did not file second-degree, what’s called implied malice murder,” he said.

This is all over the local news here in SO CA. The Jackson family keeps on stating Murray is guilty guilty I say. If Dr. Murray is a murderer than Jackson was a junkie. No one has the guts to even go there. I have to turn the whole circus off. They were both playing Russian Roulette with the drugs, it was just a matter of time.
I agree Michael Jackson was guilty to some extent.. however..Dr. Murray should never have brought propofol to Michael Jackson’s home to use. All the experts said this is to be used in a hospital setting with a respirator and resuscitation equipment and the patient should not be left alone.. However it was said Dr. Murray gave it to him and went to make phone calls. over 40 minutes worth based on his own time line.. A patient can demand drugs all they want, it’s the doctor who is suppose to have the good judgment to refuse.. Of course when you got big bucks.. what’s the old saying. We already know what you are.. just trying to find your price.
Was no reason for this to happen to Michael Jackson at all. Last night was shown on Nancy Grace’s show they had a urine sample taken from Jackson at the house.. pads on the bed..because people are out awhile on this stuff and are unable to wake up to go. So he knew Michael would be out for awhile..but you aren’t suppose to leave them unattended for 1 minute while under it.
Propofol in his stomach and in his eye tissue.. amongst other drugs. I think too they should’ve went for second degree murder charges.
What’s really dumb is he can still practice medicine.
Extremely talented, but a very troubled life.
With enough money Michael could get anything he wanted, just because other doctors gave Michael the drug doesn’t mean it was right and no excuse for Murray to follow…there is nothing else to call it but murder…maybe Michael would be alive today if Murray hadn’t of left the room for 40 minutes, he knew better….what 40 minute phone call could of been more important…and he pleads not guilty…book him Dano…!!! Michael was sick and addicted….!!!
The only part I like about this story is the part where the pedophile is still dead.
aka the King of Prop
Conrad Murray already served his “Community Service.”
People should be sending him roses and thanking him for giving Peter Pan the dirt bath he needed.
Trial – $12 Million
Elephant Man’s Bones – $8 Million
Overdose on Propofol – Priceless
No more dangling Blanket FOR YOU! (rename that kid to Leon or Travis or something… you know he isn’t going to turn out right with that nutty name.)
Michael Jackson would always be the King of Pop… He is one of the greatest figures in the pop music industry and we will never forget about him
