Federal Grand Jury Could Charge Wife, Noor Salman, of Orlando Nightclub Shooter Omar Mateen
WHAT DID SHE KNOW AND WHY DIDN’T SHE SAY ANYTHING?
Is it possible that the deadliest mass shooting in American history could have easily been prevented? It certainly is starting to look that way. A federal grand jury has been convened to look into possible wrongdoing by the wife, Noor Salman, of the gunman who killed 49 people at an Orlando gay nightclub. Possible criminal charges could be brought against her. As reported at NBC News, Noor Salman feared he was going to attack a gay nightclub overnight Saturday and pleaded with him not to do anything violent, but failed to warn police after he left. WHO DOES THIS? How on earth do you dot say something? She feared he was going to go to the Pulse nightclub and shoot someone and she still did not notify the authorities. UNREAL.
A federal grand jury has been convened to look into possible wrongdoing by the wife of the gunman who killed 49 people at an Orlando gay nightclub, and criminal charges could be brought against her early as Wednesday, a law enforcement source said.
Omar Mateen’s wife, Noor Salman, knew of his plans for what became the deadliest mass shooting in modern U.S. history, said the law enforcement source who has been briefed on the matter.
“It appears she had some knowledge of what was going on,” said U.S. Senator Angus King, a member of the Senate Intelligence Committee, which received a briefing on the attack.
“She definitely is, I guess you would say, a person of interest right now and appears to be cooperating and can provide us with some important information,” King told CNN.
Salman was with Mateen when he cased out possible targets for an attack in the past two months, including the Disney World resort in April, then a shopping complex called Disney Springs and the Pulse nightclub in early June, CNN and NBC reported.

2 Year Old Toddler Missing After Alligator Drags Boy Away into the Water at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa (Update: Toddler Lane Graves Body Recovered)
HORRIFYING …
A 2 year old boy is still missing after he was attacked and dragged into the water by an alligator at the Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa Tuesday night around 9:20 pm. According to accounts, the Nebraska family of five was relaxing on the shoreline when the alligator attacked the boy. The father entered the water and tried to pry the child from the gator, but was unsuccessful. Orange County Sheriff’s deputies are using sonar to search the man-made lake, with help from a helicopter and 10-person dive team. The alligator was said to be between 4 and 7 feet long. The search continues for the child in the Seven Seas Lagoon for hours in a search and recovery effort but had not found him.
Jeff Williamson with the Orange County Sheriff’s Office stated, “We just want to keep searching and searching and searching until we can’t search anymore.” According to the press conference this morning, officials are still treating this as a search and rescue. Sadly, this does not look good at all.
A 2-year-old boy who was attacked and dragged into the water by an alligator on the shores of Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa Tuesday night was still missing early Wednesday morning.
Jeff Williamson with the Orange County Sheriff’s Office said the child had not been located. Deputies are in the water and air, calling it a search and rescue operation.
“Right now we’re going to bring in some fresh eyes and continue with the search,” Williamson said. “Prepare for the worst, hope for the best.”
UPDATE I: 4 Alligators Found in nearby waters overnight … none involved with attack on missing boy.
UPDATE II: The Body of 2 Year Old Lane Graves recovered by Divers.
Heart-breaking, simply unimaginably heart-breaking. The body of 2 year old Lane Graves was found by divers Wednesday about 6 feet beneath the water in the man made lagoon where the boy had been attacked by an alligator the night before.
The body of a 2-year-old boy snatched by an alligator at a Disney resort was found underwater, ending a desperate search that began as a rescue operation and eventually became a grim recovery effort, officials in Florida said.
Divers found the boy’s body “completely intact” Wednesday about six feet beneath the surface of the massive, man-made lagoon, not far from the area where he was attacked the previous night, Orange County Sheriff Jerry Demings said Wednesday afternoon.
The sheriff identified the toddler as Lane Graves of Elkhorn, Neb. While a formal identification is pending, “there is no reason to believe that the body that was recovered is not that of Lane Graves,” Demings said.

Michu Meszaros, the Actor Who Played “ALF” Dead at 76
HOW SAD, ALF HAS DIED …
Michu Meszaros, the actor who played “ALF” in the popular ’80s sitcom, died Sunday night at the age of 76. According to his manager, Dennis Varga, Meszaros had a stroke on June 2, and was in a coma and suffering from pneumonia since. The TV sitcom ALF aired on NBC from September 22, 1986 to March 24, 1990. Note that Michu Meszaros was the actor who wore the ALF suit, not the voice of ALF. The voice of ALF was actor, Paul Fusco. Meszaros died 8:20 p.m. Sunday, said Varga, who lived with Meszaros at a home in Hawthorne, California.
Meszaros, who stood only 33 inches tall, had a stroke last Thursday and had been hospitalized since. Varga says the 76-year-old actor died Sunday night.
Meszaros wore a full-body suit to portray the alien wiseguy “ALF,” which was sometimes portrayed by a puppet. The character was voiced by another actor, Paul Fusco. The NBC series ran four seasons.
Meszaros was born in Hungary and joined Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey circus in 1973. He performed for U.S. presidents Jimmy Carter and Ronald Reagan and became friends with Michael Jackson after Jackson saw him performing, said Varga.
