34 Year Old Darcey Cottrell Missing Since 6/1/16 in Danville, Illinois (Update: Found Safe)
34 year old Darcey Cottrell has been missing since Wednesday, June 1, 2016 from Danville, IL. She was last seen outside her home on East Main Street. Darcey Cottrell is described as 5 feet, 2 inches tall and weighing around 130 pounds. Also, the police say she was driving a green Ford Ranger with license plate number AN3826. She was supposedly headed to Discount Tobacco Warehouse, where she’s worked for the past two years. However, she never arrived.
Darcey Cottrell, 34, was last seen near her home in Danville, Illinois, on the afternoon of June 1, according to the station. Her mom says she left to go to work at 2:30 pm, but she never made it there.
“I was scared because my grandson thinks someone took her, and I don’t even want to think along those lines. But something’s going on,” Cottrell’s mother, Cindy Lowe, told WCIA.
Lowe says she saw her daughter the day before she went missing — and nothing seemed to be out of the ordinary.
“Everything was the same. We had some pizza together,” she told the station. “I had no red flags.”
Police say she was driving a green Ford Ranger with license plate number AN3826. She is described as 5 feet, 2 inches tall and weighing around 130 pounds, according to the department’s Facebook page.

UPDATE I: Police Asking for Help in Search for Missing Illinois Woman Darcey Cottrell.
There are two Danville Police detectives assigned to the case, but little information is available to be released, according to Commander Jane McFadden who spoke with Dateline.
“We don’t know at this point if there is any foul play involved,” McFadden said. “We’re puzzle-piecing this thing together. We have to look at it first as the worst-case scenario. You never know what could have happened.”
Officials are asking anyone who may have seen or spoken to Darcey after 2:30 p.m. the last day she was seen, to phone police.
“If we have an established timeline, we’re more likely able to hopefully figure out what may have happened,” Commander McFadden told Dateline.
While police search, Darcey’s wide array of family and friends are leaving no stone unturned in their search for answers. Dozens of people turned out to search the areas surrounding Darcey’s neighborhood Saturday. The original posting Darcey’s mother made on Facebook, regarding her daughter’s disappearance, has also been shared more than 3,200 times.
“We just want her home safe for her sons and all her loved ones,” Darcey’s mother Cindy told Dateline. “If anyone has any information, we’re begging you to come forward.”
UPDATE II: Missing Illinois Mother Darcey Cottrell Found Safe.
Police confirmed Tuesday morning that a missing Illinois mother, who was last seen leaving for work, has been found safe.
Darcey Cottrell, who disappeared on June 1, was pulled over in another state on a traffic stop Tuesday morning, Commander Jane McFadden of the Danville Police Department told Dateline.
“She told officers that she was fine and not in any danger,” Commander McFadden said. “They provided us with a local address which we passed along to her family.”
After Losing Rigged Democrat Primary to Hillary Clinton … Bernie Sanders Vows to Fight on to the Philedalphia Convention
Hillary Clinton may have won the rigged Democrat primary that saw both the Democrat political establishment (super delegates) and the liberal MSMback her, however, it is socialist Bernie Sanders that has the energy behind him. Bernie found out just how rigged the primary process truly is was the AP called the nomination for Hillary Clinton before the California primary based on super delegates. UNREAL. Sanders vowed last night to his supporters to take their fight on to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and the Democrat National Convention. One thing I can see Bernie pushing for at the convention is an end to super delegates in the Democrat nomination process that is nothing more than a rigged system that gives the appearance the people are nominating the candidate.
“Next Tuesday we continue the fight. We are going to fight hard to win the primary in Washington, D.C., and then we take our fight for social, economic, racial and environmental justice to Philadelphia.”
So which party is it again that seems to have complete division again? Bernie Sander captured more primaries and caucuses than anyone could have ever imagined. Will Sanders supporters vote for Hillary? Or will they look elsewhere or stay home? Sanders’ campaign was a social movement, not a political campaign. Those that invested that much emotional capital would find it hard to just cast a vote for the other guy or gal.
Despite a night of disappointing losses, Bernie Sanders vowed Tuesday night to continue his campaign and to take his fight all the way to the convention in Philadelphia. While Hillary Clinton secured the delegates she needed Monday to become the presumptive presidential nominee, Sanders channeled the defiance of his supporters as he took the stage shortly before 11 p.m. PT.
The crowd was on edge — angry with the press and worried that he would give in to the growing pressure from Democratic leaders to bow out of the race.
But it wasn’t long before it became clear from his remarks that his “movement” — a campaign that has given Clinton more of a fight than anyone predicted and forced theDemocratic Party to the left — would carry on, at least through the final primary next Tuesday in Washington, D.C.
“All of you know that when we began this campaign over a year ago we were considered to be a fringe campaign. Over the last year I think that has changed a little bit,” he said as the crowd thundered with approval.

Bretagne, the Last Known Living 9/11 Search Dog Has Died at Age 16 and Laid to Rest
SOME HEROES HAVE 4 LEGS … REST IN PEACE SWEETIE.
Today is a sad day. Some posts are just harder to write than others, this is truly one of them …
Bretagne, the last known living 9/11 search dog has passed away at the age of 16. A statement from the Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service says Golden Retriever Bretagne was put to sleep on Monday at a veterinary clinic in the Houston suburb of Cypress. Bretagne, (pronounced, “Brittany”), was just 2 years old when she and her handler, Denise Corliss, took part in the 9/11 search operation in New York. They spent 10 days at the scene searching rubble for human remains following the terror attack on September 11, 2001. Bretagne not only served at Ground Zero, but BarkPost explained she also helped with search and rescue in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina. Bretagne retired from active duty aged nine. And now we say goodbye to this precious and beautiful dog.
When it was time to say goodbye, she was given a hero’s farewell.
Firefighters and rescue workers lined the sidewalk as her body, draped in an American flag, was carried out. Tears streaked down some faces.
Bretagne, believed to be the last surviving 9/11 Ground Zero search dogs, was euthanized Monday.
The golden retriever was 16. Old age had slowed her down, and it was time to put her to sleep.
So, the firefighters at the Cy-Fair Fire Department in Harris County, Texas, lined the path up to the Fairfield Animal Hospital, as her owner, Denise Corliss, walked her in to be put to sleep.
Bretagne celebrates her 16th birthday in New York City
A doggy’s birthday for one of the brave who searched following 9/11 where Bretagne was given the “Kibble to the City”.
In September, BarkPost teamed up with 1 Hotels to give the beloved dog a day of celebration in New York City for her 16th birthday. The day was known as “Dog’s Best Day,” an on-going series from BarkPost that celebrates deserving dogs.
Bretagne was whisked throughout the city that day and given the hero treatment. It started with a limo at the airport and then a suite over looking Central Park at 1 Hotel.
Bretagne was then taken to see a personalized billboard in Times Square displaying a happy birthday message. She even received the doggie “Key to the City” presented by Hudson River Parks.
And as we say goodbye to a true American hero, Bretagne is walked, by her handler Denise Corliss, past a flank of members of the Cy-Fair Volunteer Fire Department and given a fireman’s funeral. Goodbye Bretagne, thank you for your service and your companionship. Rest in Peace.
If this does not bring a tear to your eye and a lump in your throat, you may not have a heart.
