Sixth Circuit Loses Patience with the IRS … IRS Still Stonewalling, Ordered to Comply

It is hard to believe that the IRS is still stonewalling previous court orders, but they are. As the Vodka Conspiracy opines, the Sixth Circuit court is losing its patience with the IRS. Where is the liberal MSM discussing this scandal that intimately was responsible in one of the greatest voter frauds that has ever been perpetrated in the United States?

Obama_IRS scandal2

Today, nearly 1,050 days since the start of the IRS scandal triggered by allegations that the IRS unlawfully and unethically targeted tea party and other conservative organizations for special scrutiny, the litigation continues. One allegedly targeted group brought suit against the IRS for its conduct, and the IRS has resisted the litigation with the same dilatory tactics that infuriated members of Congress.

In the latest development, a federal district court ordered the IRS to turn over information concerning groups that were subject to the mistreatment identified by the agency’s inspector general. The IRS didn’t like this and is now seeking a writ of mandamus in order to avoid having to disclose more information. The U.S. Court of Appeals for the 6th Circuit is not amused.

United States v. NorCal Tea Party Patriots denying the IRS petition … The 6th Circuit opinion concludes:

In closing, we echo the district court’s observations about this case. The lawyers in the Department of Justice have a long and storied tradition of defending the nation’s interests and enforcing its laws—all of them, not just selective ones—in a manner worthy of the Department’s name. The conduct of the IRS’s attorneys in the district court falls outside that tradition. We expect that the IRS will do better going forward. And we order that the IRS comply with the district court’s discovery orders of April 1 and June 16, 2015—without redactions, and without further delay.

Lib Piers Morgan Says, When it comes to terror, isn’t it time we started listening seriously to Trump? (VIDEO)

WOW, ARE THOSE ON THE LEFT AGREEING WITH THE DONALD?

From The Daily Mail comes the following where liberal Piers Morgan is now asking himself, is Donald Trump wrong on terrorism? As reported at the Daily Caller, Morgan is really coming around to the idea of a Trump’s candidacy: “Hate Donald Trump all you like, but at least he seems to recognize the magnitude of the threat and at least he has firm proposals for how to try to defeat it.”

I spoke to Trump for 40 minutes. He was, as you’d expect, bombastic, defiant and self-congratulatory. Why wouldn’t he be? He’s ripped up every political rulebook to take this presidential race by storm, a scenario that is hardly going to deflate the ego of New York’s most cock-sure billionaire tycoon.

But he also spoke in more detail about his plans to combat ISIS and I found myself nodding more than I expected.

Trump told me countries must tighten their borders in light of these terror attacks, especially to anyone related to an ISIS fighter in Syria.

Is he so wrong?

He told me he wants law-abiding Muslims to root out the extremists in their midst, expressing his bafflement and anger that someone like Abdeslam was able to hide for so long in the very part of Brussels he had previously lived.

Is he so wrong?

He told me America must make it far harder for illegal immigrants to enter the U.S. and thinks European countries should follow suit.

Is he so wrong?

He told me he believes there are now areas of many major European cities which have become poisonous breeding grounds for radicalized Islamic terror.

Is he so wrong?

I didn’t feel I was talking to a lunatic, as many seem to view Trump.

I saw a guy, a non-politician unfettered by PC language restraints, who is genuinely furious at the devastation which ISIS is wreaking, and seriously concerned for the security of his fellow Americans and indeed, the citizens of Europe.

(Remember, Trump’s from New York and felt the horror of 9/11 very personally and very deeply like all New Yorkers.)

His plans for tackling this extraordinarily dangerous threat to the world have been widely condemned as ‘bigoted’ and ‘racist’.

But although I publicly criticised him for the Muslim short-term ban suggestion, I’ve known Trump for ten years and I don’t believe he’s a racist.

I think he’s someone who has spent his life responding to metaphorical punches on his nose by punching even harder back.

And right now, he firmly believes that ISIS will murder countless more Americans and Europeans if somebody somewhere doesn’t stand up and punch them hard in the face.

Someone prepared to stop spewing politically-correct niceties after these attacks, hoping nobody gets offended, and actually DO something.

Let’s be honest with ourselves, right now ISIS is winning this war and will continuing committing utter carnage on our streets on an ever graver and more barbaric scale until they are stopped.

I don’t have the answers to how to do that.

But I don’t hear any good ideas coming from any world leaders at the moment either, and it’s their highly paid jobs to work it out.

Instead, I see a global paralysis driven by fear, confusion and woeful lack of leadership.

And it will only get worse.

Donald Trump predicted Brussels … Prior to terror attack, its like living in a hell hole

Hate Donald Trump all you like, but at least he seems to recognise the magnitude of the threat and at least he has firm proposals for how to try to defeat it.

They may not win him the Politically Correct Pontificator of the Year award. But how many more scenes like this morning’s appalling images from Brussels are we going to tolerate before we try a non-PC option to beat these disgusting excuses for human beings?

At the end of our interview, I asked Donald Trump to send a message to the large majority of non-violent, decent Muslims who are as disgusted by these attacks as the rest of us.

‘I have great respect for Muslims,’ he said, ‘I have many friends that are Muslims. I’m just saying that there is something with a radicalized portion that is very, very bad and very dangerous. I would say this, to the Muslims, when they see trouble, they have to report it, they’re not reporting it, they’re absolutely not reporting it and that’s a big problem.’

Is he so wrong?

Could the Establishment Finally Be Warming up to Cruz … Jeb Bush Endorses Ted Cruz

Politics really does make strange bed fellows … Or, the enemy of my enemy is my friend.

Former Republican presidential candidate Jeb Bush endorses Texas Sen. Ted Cruz. However, is the endorsement too late and will it even matter in the long run? In fact, could it hurt Cruz? Red State opines it could be the kiss of death. What it does show is the continued efforts of the establishment to prevent Donald Trump from being the GOP’s presidential nominee. Jeb Bush has been extremely outspoken about Trump’s “divisiveness and vulgarity.” Is it just possible that the establishment would is warming up to Cruz and would rather have the Texas senator as president as compared to Trump? Many pundits had thought just the opposite as Ted Cruz as been a principled conservative in the US Senate and a thorn in the side of establishment republican politics.

In a surprise announcement, Jeb Bush will endorse Ted Cruz on Wednesday as an antidote to the “divisiveness and vulgarity” of Donald Trump, providing a badly needed boost to the Texas senator – but it’s one that comes dangerously late in a game that Trump is dominating.

Cruz, in New York City on Wednesday, planned to celebrate with a victory lap of three network morning shows. The endorsement comes 32 days after a beaten Bush dropped out of the GOP presidential race, and eight days since Sen. Marco Rubio abandoned his own quest after being rebuffed by Bush, his fellow Floridian and one-time mentor.

Bush says in a statement to be released by the Cruz campaign: “Ted is a consistent, principled conservative who has demonstrated the ability to appeal to voters and win primary contests.”

“For the sake of our party and country, we must move to overcome the divisiveness and vulgarity Donald Trump has brought into the political arena, or we will certainly lose our chance to defeat the Democratic nominee and reverse President Obama’s failed policies,” the statement continues.

The news will surely irk Rubio, who could have benefited greatly from Bush’s embrace. But a Republican source said: “Jeb came to believe Marco was not up to the job of being President. It was never really under serious discussion.” POLITICO reported on Monday that Rubio had rejected the idea of joining a “unity ticket” with Cruz.

Bush and Cruz sealed the endorsement agreement with a phone call on Monday. “They have kept in touch over the last few weeks and Senator Cruz has been diligent about keeping Governor Bush up to date on his campaign,” a source close to Bush said.

Donald Trump Wins Arizona Primary … Cruz Takes Utah

Last night’s primary/caucus results were a mixed bag as both Donald trump and Texas  Sen. Ted Cruz both picked up substantial victories that at evenings end pretty much wound up being a net delegate tie. Trump won all of the 58 delegates in Arizona, while Cruz did the same in Utah (40 delegates) with nearly 70% of the vote.

Kasich was no where to be found in any of the three races and gained no delegates. Its a mystery why this man is still in the race as he has no path to win the nomination and maybe no path to win another state or delegates.

Trump Rubio

Texas Sen. Ted Cruz’s big win in Utah means he will get all 40 of the state’s delegates to the Republican National Convention.

Cruz has a very limited path to clinch the nomination before the party’s convention this summer.

But if he can start winning more contests, he can stop front-runner Donald Trump from doing so.

Trump won the most delegates on Tuesday, picking up all 58 in Arizona’s Republican primary. Republicans also caucused Tuesday in American Samoa, where Trump and Cruz each picked up a delegate.

Ohio Gov. John Kasich was shut out for the night, leaving him with fewer delegates than Florida Sen. Marco Rubio, who quit the race last week.

The AP delegate count:

Trump: 739.
Cruz: 465
Kasich: 143.

Needed to win the nomination: 1,237.
