SUPER TUESDAY – Republican Primaries: Donald Trump Projected to Win in Alabama, Georgia, Massachusetts and Tennessee
Donald Trump Projected to Win in Alabama, Georgia, Massachusetts and Tennessee …
WAPO is projecting that Donald Trump is the projected winner in Alabama, Georgia, Massachusetts and Tennessee.
Billionaire Donald Trump has been projected to win at least four of the states that held Republican primaries on “Super Tuesday,” with results in four other still too close to call.
Trump has been projected as the winner in Alabama, Georgia, Massachusetts and Tennessee, according to Edison Media Research. In early returns, Trump seemed very dominant in those states – he was up double digits in all, and in several states his share of the vote neared 50 percent. With those wins, Trump has more than doubled his victory total in this GOP primary season: He has now won seven states. His opponents have won just one so far.
Now the watch is to see if Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio can maintain the delegate threshold.

SUPER TUESDAY: Socialist Bernie Sanders Wins Vermont Over Clinton … Probably the Only State He Will Win
VERMONT FEELS THE BERN …
Socialist Bernie Sanders is the projected winner for the People’s Republic of Vermont. The Burlington Free Press is stating that Bernie Sanders is the winner of the Democrat primary over Hillary Clinton in Vermont. However, it appears that it is going to be a long night for the self-proclaimed socialist.
Bernie Sanders is the projected winner of Vermont Democratic presidential primary.
His rival for the nomination, Hillary Clinton, meanwhile, was projected to win Georgia and Virginia, according to calls made by news networks including The Associated Press and CNN moments after the polls closed at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
With less than 1 percent of the returns in, the democratic socialist from Vermont was projected to best former Secretary of State Clinton by a wide margin.
UPDATE I: Wow, Sanders wins Oklahoma, Minnesota, Colorado and a close second in Massachusetts.

Pundits Say Super Tuesday Predictions Point to Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton Rout
DON’T BELIEVE WHAT THE PUNDITS TELL YOU ABOUT A TRUMP & CLINTON SUPER TUESDAY ROUT …
Its Super Tuesday, if you are in the following states, get out and vote!!!
Alabama · 50 delegates
Alaska · 28 delegates
Arkansas · 40 delegates
Georgia · 76 delegates
Massachusetts · 42 delegates
Minnesota · 38 delegates
Oklahoma · 43 delegates
Tennessee · 58 delegates
Texas · 155 delegates
Vermont · 16 delegates
Virginia · 49 delegates
Do the Pundits know that none of the Super Tuesday primary/caucus states are winner take all? I guess not as they predict that Super Tuesday will be a Trump and Clinton rout. Sorry folks, it has nothing to do with winning and losing. It has to do with delegates and whether you can get to the 15% or 20% threshold in the proportional states. Unless a candidate wins the state by the winner take all threshold like 67% in Tennessee, which is never going to happen with so many candidates still in the GOP race, its all about meeting the requirements to get delegates. It is a much easier proposition for Hillary Clinton and she just has one opponent and hardly one at that.
Remember, the real number to look for is 20%. In some states its 15%. That is what qualifies a candidate to get any delegates. Thus, Carson and Kasich are an afterthought and should really start thinking about packing up and heading home.
On Tuesday, more delegates will be awarded than on any other day of the presidential race. About half of the delegates needed for a Republican candidate to win the nomination are at stake, plus about a third for Democrats. In roughly a dozen state races, Republican front-runner Donald Trump and Democratic leader Hillary Clinton seem poised to win in landslides that could render them nearly inevitable.
The Politico is playing the spin game too .. Trump, Clinton to run riot on Super Tuesday. Sorry, but the wins really don’t matter, especially in close races. You will hear all kinds of hoopla that the GOP race is over because Trump won so many states, but we all need to check out the number of delegates at evenings end. That will be the real story. Trump will most likely garner the most, if the polls are correct, but just how wide will the margin be?
Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump are already beating their rivals. On Super Tuesday, insiders predict, they’ll all but bury them.
Members of The POLITICO Caucus — a panel of strategists, party leaders, activists and elected officials in four key March-voting states — expect both Clinton and Trump to romp through the majority of Tuesday’s primaries and caucuses. And a number even suggested that running the table on Super Tuesday, or something close to it, could make both front-runners nearly impossible to catch in the race for their parties’ nomination.
Actor George Kennedy Dies at 91 … RIP
REST IN PEACE GEORGE KENNEDY …
One of my favorite supporting actors of all times has died, George Kennedy has passed away at the age of 91. As reported, George Kennedy was born in New York City and he first appeared onstage at the age of two. But would later spend 16 years in the U.S. Army, ultimately working for Armed Forces Radio. Most remember Kennedy for his role with Paul Newman in the movie favorite, “Cool Hand Luke” and the 1970′s films “Airport” and “Earthquake.” Of course those films were classics, but I liked him as well in other movies such as “Delta Force,” “The Dirty Dozen,” and the TV series “The Blue Knight.”
George Kennedy winning Best Supporting Actor For Cool Hand Luke
George Kennedy, who won a supporting actor Oscar for his role alongside Paul Newman in the beloved film “Cool Hand Luke,” and was also a fixture of 1970s disaster movies including the “Airport” franchise and “Earthquake,” died Sunday in Boise, Idaho. He was 91. His grandson Cory Schenkel reported the death on his Facebook page.
While Kennedy largely played gruff, blue-collar characters in dramas and genre films, he allowed a comedic side to emerge in the deadpan “The Naked Gun” movies.
Kennedy appeared in all four of the “Airport” movies of the 1970s as Joe Patroni, the reluctant, cigar-chomping but highly effective chief mechanic who could be counted upon when the chips were down and supreme expertise was required. He also turned in a powerful performance in 1975’s “Earthquake” as the hearty, sentimental police sergeant Slade, who helps where he can in the wake of the devastating temblor.
Kennedy toiled in the TV trenches for much of the 1960s, especially guesting on Westerns — and occasionally appearing in supporting roles in high-profile films such as “In Harm’s Way,” “The Sons of Katie Elder,” “The Flight of the Phoenix” and “The Dirty Dozen.”
New York Times Obit – George Kennedy, Versatile Actor Who Won an Oscar for ‘Cool Hand Luke,’ Dies at 91.
George Kennedy, who played tough guys, oafs, G.I.’s and a bonanza of cowboys as one of Hollywood’s most versatile and durable character actors, and who won an Oscar as the best supporting actor of 1967 for his performance in the Paul Newman film “Cool Hand Luke,” died on Sunday in Boise, Idaho. He was 91.
No critic ever spoke of a George Kennedy oeuvre. Many of his films were hokey, with absurd plots and over-the-top acting. And, with the exception of his Academy Award performance and his work in about a dozen other films, he was most often a peripheral player, a sidekick of the star or the straight man with setup lines for the comedian.
But from the early 1960s on, hardly a year went by without a Kennedy picture — often there were four or five a year — and he was memorable as the heavy in “Charade” (1963), with Audrey Hepburn and Cary Grant; as Maj. Max Armbruster on a World War II mission in “The Dirty Dozen” (1967); as a regular in the “Airport” pictures, and later as Leslie Nielsen’s dumbstruck captain in the “Naked Gun” comedies.
He was perhaps best known for his role in “Cool Hand Luke”: Dragline, a chain-gang prisoner whose brutality and compassion as the gang leader not only revealed Mr. Kennedy’s rarely seen range as an actor, but also deftly illuminated the character of his tormented fellow convict, played by Mr. Newman.
George Harris Kennedy Jr. was born in New York City on Feb. 18, 1925, the son of George and Helen Kennedy. His father, a musician and bandleader, died when he was 4, and he was raised by his mother, a ballet dancer. His parents put him on the stage at 2, and he later worked in radio. But his entertainment career got off to a late start.
A military career seemed more likely. After graduating from W. C. Mepham High School in Bellmore, N.Y., he joined the Army, fought in the infantry in Europe in World War II and spent 16 years in the service.

Talk About Desperate … Marco Rubio Says Donald Trump Has ‘Small Hands’ … “Donald Trump Isn’t Gonna Make America Great, He’s Gonna Make America Orange” (VIDEO)
IT WOULD APPEAR THAT MARCO RUBIO NEVER LEARNED TO NEVER GET INTO A PISSING CONTEST WITH A SKUNK …
It has gone from the silly season to the insult season in the GOP primaries. Sen Marco Rubio, in an act of desperation, attacked Trump making fun of his “small hands” and stating that Trump isn’t going to make America great, he’s going to make America orange. Then he went on to say, “and you know what they say about men with small hands.” Wow, is this that the GOP presidential race has been reduced to? Its one thing for Donald Trump to hurl classless insults at his opponents, because well, that is what he is. But it is quite another thing for Marco Rubio to enter the Don Rickles candidate roast.
Rubio called Trump a swindler and the ultimate conman. I would say keep it classy, but class left this GOP primary a long time ago. Ronald Reagan and Abe Lincoln are rolling over in their graves.
Marco Rubio again unleashed an array of sharp attacks on Republican frontrunner Donald Trump, jabbing at his “small hands” and “spray tan.”
In response to the property mogul calling him “little Rubio,” Rubio conceded that Trump was taller than him. However, the Florida senator suggested Trump had small hands for his height.
“And you know what they say about guys with small hands,” Rubio said with a smile, prompting stunned laughter from the crowd.
After a brief pause he added: “You can’t trust ‘em!” The crowd responded with applause.
Rubio also targeted Trump’s notorious tan, saying he “doesn’t sweat because his pores are clogged from the spray tan.”
“Donald Trump isn’t gonna make America great, he’s gonna make America orange,” he said.
