Precedent Set that Government is Above the Law: Lois Lerner Skates on IRS Targeting Scandal as Obama Administration Finds Lerner Has Done Nothing Wrong
IMAGINE THAT, THE OBAMA ADMINISTRATION INVESTIGATES ITSELF AND FINDS IT HAVE DONE NOTHING WRONG …
WTF, a terrible precedent has been set that states the government is above the law and can do anything against We the People … The officials in Washington constantly talk about how our immigration system in America is broken. WRONG, WASHINGTON, DC AND OUR GOVERNMENT IS BROKEN. In news that many may not have heard about as the liberal MSM, with Fox News in tow decided to over report on Hurricane Patricia and how it was supposed to be the hurricanes to end all hurricanes and destroy the world. The Barack Obama Justice Department has declined to file charges against IRS enforcer Lois Lerner, who purposely and willfully targeted Conservative and Tea Party groups for political purposes in an attempt to silence them. ARE YOU KIDDING? Lois Lerner should be in leg irons and in federal prison for what she did in an abuse of power and her IRS office. How can this be that an individual can break the law, get caught red-handed, stonewall and cover-up an investigation, but because you did it for the political party that is in power, you are not prosecuted for your crimes? UNREAL. This is an example of a US federal government gone rouge under the decisive and deceitful presidency of Barack Obama. America should have zero confidence any more that the federal government can be held accountable to We the People. Thanks to Barack Obama and his non-transparent presidency and this terrible precedent, we no longer have a government of, by and for the people but a government that is above the law.
There may have never been a greater abuse of power and cover up, ever.
The Law: The Justice Department declined to file charges against IRS enforcer Lois Lerner, who singled out Tea Party groups for scrutiny on political grounds. With no accountability, it’s now open season on dissidents.
Is there anyone out there subject to an Internal Revenue Service audit or a multiyear delay in approval for tax-exempt status who won’t be concerned that the process is politically rigged against them?
That’s the message the Justice Department sent when, in a classic Friday night news dump, it decided to not file charges against IRS tax-exempt groups chief Lois Lerner. In a letter to the House Judiciary Committee, Justice said that while it found “mismanagement, poor judgment and inertia,” there was no case for a criminal prosecution.
This is absurd. Lerner was caught red-handed targeting Tea Party and other conservative groups, wrote partisan emails to prove it, then engaged in a massive cover-up effort — with a suspiciously crashed server, an oddly missing BlackBerry and plenty of excuses.
She evaded even more accountability by shielding herself with the Fifth Amendment in Congress. The consequences to her have been . .. retirement on a full pension with all her bonuses to a multimillion-dollar mansion in the deep D.C. suburbs.
As for her victims — and they were many — there is no justice. Now everyone, no matter what their political leanings, will wonder if they too are a political target by an out-of-control agency protected by the Justice Department.
Because that’s the real consequence of this failure to hold Lerner accountable: A precedent has been set.
IRS officials now know they can go after any political opponent they want, ruin them any way they wish, swing an election — as occurred with Lerner’s actions — and get away with it.
No wonder confidence in government has plunged. Last June, Gallup conducted a survey on confidence in public institutions and found it “below historic norms” and with confidence in justice dropping to its lowest point since Barack Obama took office. Just 23% of the public had high or some confidence in a justice system that could play fairly; 34% had little or no confidence
To liberals who think this is a laughing matter and are giggling in some childish manner that they got away with something. I have two words, YOU’RE NEXT. No one should have any issues if there is a Republican president in office and they use the IRS to attack the LEFT. In fact, I insist that they do. Let’s see you guys twist in the wind and see what it feels like. And I do not want to hear the MSM condemn any future GOP administration for using the IRS has a goon squad to attack liberals. You certainly can’t call foul, you had your chance and failed to do so.

Golden Age of Hollywood Actress Maureen O’Hara Has Passed Away at Age 95, Rest in Peace
WE HAVE LOST ANOTHER GIANT FROM THE GOLDEN AGE OF HOLLYWOOD …
It is a sad day for those of us who love classic movies from the Golden Age of Hollywood and movies actually worth watching. Irish born actress Maureen O’Hara has passed away at age 95. One of my all-time favorite actresses and a classic beauty that represents Hollywood gone by, Maureen O’Hara, died on Saturday at her home in Boise, Idaho. Her family confirmed in a statement that she passed away from natural causes peacefully in her sleep at her on home Saturday morning surrounded by family. Maureen O’Hara is to be buried at Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, VA next to her husband, US Navy pilot General Charles Blair who died in a plane crash in 1978.
She was born Maureen FitzSimons on August 17, 1920, in Ranelagh, Ireland, on the outskirts of Dublin and was the second of six children of Charles FitzSimons. But we knew her best for her tremendous acting roles in movies like “The Hunchback of Notre Dame” (1939), “How Green Was My Valley” (1941), “The Black Swan” (1942), “This Land Is Mine” (1943),”The Quiet Man” (1952) and “McLintock!” (1963). However, my favorite is the timeless holiday classic, “A Miracle on 34th Street” (1947).
One of my favorite stories of Maureen O’Hara was the one where John Wayne, The Duke, paid her one of his highest complaints. John Wayne said, “I’ve had many friends, and I prefer the company of men, except for Maureen O’Hara,” he said. “She is a great guy.”
Maureen O’Hara, Rest in Peace
New York Times: Maureen O’Hara, Irish-Born Actress Known as Queen of Technicolor, Dies at 95.
Maureen O’Hara, the spirited Irish-born actress who played strong-willed, tempestuous beauties opposite all manner of adventurers in escapist movies of the 1940s and ’50s, died on Saturday at her home in Boise, Idaho. She was 95.
Johnny Nicoletti, her longtime manager, confirmed her death.
Ms. O’Hara was called the Queen of Technicolor, because when that film process first came into use, nothing seemed to show off its splendor better than her rich red hair, bright green eyes and flawless peaches-and-cream complexion. One critic praised her in an otherwise negative review of the 1950 film “Comanche Territory” with the sentiment “Framed in Technicolor, Miss O’Hara somehow seems more significant than a setting sun.” Even the creators of the process claimed her as its best advertisement.
Miracle of 34th Street, (Maureen O’Hara, Edmund Gwenn and a young Natalie Wood)
Yet many of the films that made the young Ms. O’Hara a star were in black and white. They included her first Hollywood movie, “The Hunchback of Notre Dame” (1939), in which she played the haunted Gypsy girl Esmeralda to Charles Laughton’s Quasimodo; the Oscar-winning “How Green Was My Valley” (1941), in which she was memorable as a Welsh mining family’s beautiful daughter who marries the wrong man; “This Land Is Mine” (1943), a war drama in which she was directed by Jean Renoir; and “Miracle on 34th Street” (1947), the holiday classic in which she played a cynical, modern Macy’s executive who tries to prevent her daughter from believing in Santa Claus.
The Quiet Man (Maureen O’Hara & John Wayne) – The Kiss scene
I am in 100% agreement with the PJ Tatler, in they just don’t make movies like this anymore like the ones that Maureen O’Hara acted in. Imagine a movie with a plot, movies that set up the dramatic scenes, rather than just using special HD effects. Imagine a movie where the sexual tension is set up between a man and a woman rather than they just jump each others bones in two seconds and leaving a woman’s beauty to the imagination rather than a gratuitous nude scene. If you have never seen any of Maureen O’Hara’s movies, take this moment and do so.
The Hunchback of Notre Dame
The Irish Times: Actor Maureen O’Hara dies aged 95.
“It is with a sad heart that we share the news that Maureen O’Hara passed away today in her sleep of natural causes,” a statement from the Fitzsimons family read.
“Maureen was our loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She passed peacefully surrounded by her loving family as they celebrated her life listening to music from her favourite movie, The Quiet Man.”
“While we mourn the loss of a very wonderful woman, we also celebrate her remarkable life and hope that it serves as an example to young people around the world, especially in Ireland, to work hard to make their dreams come true and to always have the courage to stand up for themselves.
“For those who may ask what they can do to honour Maureen, we have a simple request: visit Ireland one day and think of her.”
Her manager said that Ms O’Hara had “a wicked sense of humour and never took her good fortunes for granted.”
“She was a classy, warm, feisty, funny woman and she was always so proudly Irish,” he said.

27 Year Old Inmate Mark Daniels Facing Charges for Assaulting the Aurora Movie Theater Shooter James Holmes
HMM, SHOULDN’T WE GIVE THIS INMATE PRISON PERKS, AND A PACK OF CIGARETTES INSTEAD?
27 year old Mark “Slim” Daniels is supposed to be charged with assault for an alleged attack on James Holmes, the Aurora move theater shooter. The incident occurred earlier this month at the Colorado State Penitentiary. The fellow state maximum security penitentiary prisoner Mark “Slim” Daniels threw himself at Holmes and took a few swings at the convicted mass killer earlier this month. Charged, really? Let’s just call it prisoners meeting out their own brand of justice. James Holmes is serving multiple life terms for carrying out the Aurora movie theater massacre that killed 12 and wounded 70. Sorry if this is wrong, but I would have no issue if this inmate had shived Holmes and killed him. The jury in James Holmes murder trial should have sentenced this SOB to death, not life in prison.
James Holmes, condemned to spend the rest of his life in a Colorado prison, was allegedly assaulted there by a fellow inmate, a state corrections spokeswoman said Saturday.
The incident occurred earlier this month at the Colorado State Penitentiary, which Holmes’ calls home given his multiple life terms for carrying out the Aurora movie theater massacre that killed 12 and wounded 70.
“It was not an attack, it was a very minor incident in passing in a hallway,” Adrienne Jacobson, a spokeswoman for the Colorado Department of Corrections, told CNN.
James Holmes
While the 27-year-old Holmes wasn’t injured, the incident was serious enough to warrant charges against the other inmate.
Jacobson told the Denver Post that inmate, 27-year-old Mark Daniels, will be charged with assault on Holmes and assault on a correctional officer.
The Colorado newspaper said that it first learned of the encounter in a letter received Friday, purportedly from Daniels, saying the incident occurred October 8. But corrections officials hadn’t seen the letter and couldn’t confirm that Daniels wrote it.
Hmm, maybe there is honor among thieves as earlier reported in this story.
