Coconino County authorities are searching for a 5-year-old boy who went missing from a campsite about 12 miles south of Jacob Lake.

According to Gerry Blair with the Coconino County Sheriff’s Office, Jerold Joseph Williams and his mother were camping with 15 to 20 friends and relatives at an unimproved campsite in the area of Highway 67 off of Forest Service Road 241. The area lies within the northern portion of the Kaibab National Forest.

Jerold was chasing grasshoppers when his mother lost sight of him at approximately 1:30 p.m., according to sheriff’s office spokesman Gerry Blair.

Jerold is described as a white male, approximately 3 feet 6 inches tall and about 35 pounds. He has a thin build, light complexion, brown eyes and brown hair that is cut very short. He had visible facial abrasions and was last seen wearing a gray or tan shirt, blue jeans, hiking boots and long underwear.

Coconino County Sheriff’s Office posted a notice Friday night on its Facebook page that the case is still active and ongoing with ground and air resources. The post noted that radio and phone communication is limited in the search area, which may account for limited updates.

The typical Kaibab National Forest area is high mountainous area, Kane County Director of Emergency Services Alan Alldredge said.

From what members of his Search and Rescue Team who assisted in the search Friday said, it sounds like pretty heavy forest, Alldredge said, maybe a lot of downed trees in the area that made it kind of hard to work their way through.

UPDATE III: Search enters 3rd day for Jerold Joseph Williams, 5, missing in northern Arizona.

Sheriff’s Office spokesman Gerry Blair said rescuers searched for Jerold Joseph Williams by air and foot on Friday and continued during the night with ATVs and foot patrols.

U.S. Air Force helicopters equipped with night vision will continue scouring the rugged terrain in a remote area north of the Grand Canyon, Blair said.

Heavy rains and 40-mph-plus winds Friday limited the amount of time searchers were able to utilize aircraft and created extremely muddy conditions, according to Blair.

Improved weather conditions Saturday aided the approximately 300 to 350 searchers and allowed for the use of more air resources, Blair said.

The Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone with any information to contact the Coconino County Sheriff’s Office at 928-774-4523.

UPDATE IV: Body of missing 5-year-old boy found in N. Ariz.

The search for a missing 5-year-old boy who wandered from his family’s campsite north of the Grand Canyon last week ended Monday evening when searchers located the child’s dead body, officials said.

Coconino County sheriff’s officials did not immediately release further details. A sheriff’s spokesman said the body was found in an area with poor cell reception and, as a result, communication with investigators was limited.

Carly Fiorina Shines at the GOP Happy Hour Debate and then Owns Chris Matthews in Post-Debate Interview (VIDEO)

HEY GOP, MOVE CARLY FIORINA TO THE BIG BOYS TABLE …

Its time to move Carly Fiorina from the little table to the big one. For anyone who objectively watched the early debate yesterday from Cleveland with the 7 candidates that FOX News dubbed not ready for prime-time, it was obvious that Carly Fiorina won the ‘Happy Hour’ debate. And it was not even close. Although, I do not agree with all of her positions, Carly Fiorina’s positions and comments are truly straight forward, biting and correct. The former Hewlett-Packard chief executive Carly Fiorina ripped President Obama’s nuclear deal with Iran and called Hillary Clinton a liar.

In a post-debate interview, MSNBC’s Chris Matthews was absolutely stunned that GOP presidential hopeful Carly Fiorina would call Hillary Clinton a liar. Imagine that. A note to Chris Matthews, Hillary Clinton is a liar and many Americans have a serious issue with Clinton’s trustworthiness. Carly did not back down and gave three very clear instances when Hillary lied to the American people. She said to uber-lib Matthews that Americans are sick and “tired of sanitized sound bites and bumper sticker rhetoric.”

Washington Free Beacon – Fiorina Runs Circles Around Chris Matthews Over Hillary’s Record.

Matthews took issue with Fiorina calling Clinton a liar in her closing statement, but Fiorina shot back that Clinton lied about Benghazi, the Middle East, and her private email server.

“First, I was very specific about the subjects about which I think she has lied. I didn’t say she lied about everything,” Fiorina said. “I was very specific, very fact-based, actually. You are the one who has made a generalized comment now about her, not me.”

Matthews tried to interrupt the only female Republican candidate, but Fiorina spoke over him and explained why she thought Clinton lied. She then made her case why Clinton should fear debating her.

“I will debate her on the issues facing this nation,” she said. “I will debate her on her positions. I will ask her, for example, how she can possibly continue to defend Planned Parenthood. I will ask her why she continues to say she is a champion of the middle class while every single proposal she has put forward makes crony capitalism worse and worse and worse [and] makes income inequality worse.

“I would ask her why she declared victory in Iraq in 2011, why she called Bashar al-Assad a positive reformer, why she thought she could stop Putin’s ambition, a man I have met, with a gimmicky red reset button. I will ask her why she got every policy wrong as secretary of state. That’s how I’ll debate her, on the issues.”

Another note to Chris Matthews, it is not your job to question some one why they would call Hillary Clinton a liar, but it is your job yo question Hillary Clinton on her multitude of lies. Hey Chris, when it comes to Hillary and lying, if the shoe fits.

POLICE LIVES MATTER!!!

The Shrevesport Times is reporting that a police officer was shot and killed in the line of duty Wednesday night. According to Shreveport Police Department spokesman Cpl. Marcus Hines, the department received a call at 9:14 p.m. about a suspicious person at the 3500 block of Del Rio Street. Hines said a man inside a home on the block was armed and making threats toward a family member.  The officer was hit several times and was taken to University Health but died. The officers name has yet to be named.  A manhunt is currently underway for the killer. Shreveport police spokesman Bill Goodin stated that investigators believe they know who the suspect is and are obtaining a warrant for his arrest.

NBC News:

A manhunt was underway early Thursday after a police officer was gunned down in Shreveport, Louisiana.

The officer was shot multiple times while responding to a report of a suspicious person armed with a gun inside a home at around 9 p.m. local time (10 p.m. ET) on Wednesday, authorities said.

“We’ll continue searching until suspect is caught and brought to justice,” Shreveport Police spokesman Cpl. Marcus Hines told NBC News.

He said dozens of officers were involved in search, adding: “We’re not going to stop looking. He will be found. It’s not a question of if it’s when.”

The officer’s identity was not immediately released. “Our request is that everyone pray for the family of the officer involved,” Hines added.

In Jackson, Miss., officers had searched at least two Greyhound buses that arrived from Louisiana in a manhunt for Grover D. Cannon, 27, accused of shooting a Shreveport police officer multiple times. Police were monitoring other buses; Greyhound has five buses daily from Shreveport to Jackson, some with intermediate stops.

But based on several tips, Shreveport officers found Cannon less than a mile from where Officer Thomas LaValley, 29, was shot around 9:15 p.m. CT Wednesday as the officer responded to a call of an armed man making threats toward a family member.

Cannon is being charged with first-degree murder in the death of LaValley, who joined the department in 2011. Cannon also was wanted for attempted second-degree murder for the July 15 shooting of Darren Williams, 45, Shreveport police Chief Willie Shaw said.

UPDATE II: Police Lives Matter … below is a picture of fallen police officer Thomas LaValley.

“Thomas LaValley was a best friend in every sense. Just a true genuine person from south Louisiana. You couldn’t ask for anyone better to be in your corner,” said friend Casey Habich. “He was one of the good guys. He was a caretaker and went above and beyond to make sure his family and friends were always well looked after.”

WMUR Poll: Hillalry Clinton Leads By Only 6% Over Socialist Bernie Sanders in New Hampshire … #FeeltheBern (VIDEO)

Are you kidding … self proclaimed socialist Bernie Sanders is within the margin of error in the polls if New Hampshire.

Is Hillary Clinton beginning to #Feelthe Bern? According to the most recent WMUR Granite State Poll taken July 22-30, Clinton leads Sanders by only 6%, basically within the margin of error. How is this possible? The poll shows that as more voters get to know Sanders, the more popular he becomes. Currently, 69% view him favorably and 10 percent unfavorably, while 16 percent do not know enough about him to say. Is the Democrat party that much more socialist where the lines have now been blurred between the Democrat party and socialists, or is Hillary Clinton that bad a choice? There is no way that this should even be a race, and it is.

The WMUR Granite State Poll taken July 22-30 shows frontrunner Clinton with a 6 percentage point lead over the challenger from Vermont. The poll has a margin of error of plus or minus 5.9 percent, prompting the pollster to call the race a statistical tie.

The poll shows Clinton leading Sanders 42 percent to 36 percent, with 5 percent supporting Vice President Joe Biden, who has been the subject of speculation in recent days about the possibility of becoming a candidate. Former Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley and former U.S. Sen. Jim Webb of Virginia each receive 1 percent, with 3 percent favoring some other candidate and 12 percent undecided.

Hilllary Clinton buying $2 million in ad time in Iowa, N.H. ahead of GOP super PAC attacks and as polls show her support softening.

Hillary Clinton has been forced to buy ads in Iowa and New Hampshire where she sees her polling numbers fall to nobodies. Could you imagine if there was actually a viable candidate opposing Hillary in the Democrat primaries? For Democrats to look at a socialist like Sanders, it is almost like they would take anyone other than Hillary.

Democratic front-runner Hillary Rodham Clinton will air her first television ads of the 2016 presidential contest this week, her campaign said Sunday, as the candidate seeks to convince voters that she is a tough crusader with a softer side.

The feel-good biographical ads will go on the air Tuesday in the early-voting states of Iowa and New Hampshire. The spots focus on Clinton’s life and family and do not mention Republicans.

A campaign official said the early August ad buy of about $1 million in each state is timed to get ahead of an expected onslaught of negative ads funded by pro-Republican super PACs. The campaign calculates that GOPcandidates and their super PACs have spent or reserved $34 million in airtime in the four early primary states.

But the new 60-second Clinton ads also come at a time when Clinton’s poll numbers have slipped in both states and when more voters say they do not find her trustworthy. Clinton’s weakening poll numbers have caused Democrats to express concerns privately about her effectiveness as a candidate.
