Ron Fournier of National Journal has a great piece on Hillary Clinton, ‘The Queen of Paradox and Her Crumbling Stone Wall’.

The once invincible stone wall of Hillary Clinton and her efforts to hide scandals and information for the American people has turned into a House of Cards. It is no longer be called a Right Wing conspiracy by Hillary Clinton or her protective liberal MSM, it is now a criminal investigation headed by the agencies with Democrat Barack Obama at the helm. The recent admission that there were top secret emails on her private server is no longer just an inconvenience during a political run for president, it is a crime.

August 12, 2015 For once, Hillary Rodham Clinton seemed to be a decent candidate. Taking aim at weak spots in the GOP lines, she attacked Jeb Bush on women’s health, Marco Rubio on abortion, Scott Walker on college costs, and Donald Trump on sexism.

Then the stone wall crumbled around the Queen of Paradox: Hillary Clinton, both a political colossus and a catastrophe. We learned Tuesday night:

—She will give the FBI a private, illicit server that housed her official email during her four years as secretary of State, including thousands that she covertly deleted.

—Her attorney will give agents a thumb drive containing copies of the self-selected emails she returned to the State Department after discovery of the rogue server.

—A top intelligence official reviewing just a handful of those emails told Congress that top-secret information had been contained in two emails that passed across the server.

Where do I start? How about with the Clinton campaign’s ridiculous suggestion that coughing up the server and email were voluntary acts. We know that’s bunk—because Clinton herself said she wouldn’t surrender the people’s records without a fight. (Read the rest HERE)

US Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-SC) has nothing but contempt for Hillary Clinton finally turning over her server to the FBI. Since when does anyone voluntarily turn anything over to the FBI, as Gowdy says, usually they ask and you do it.

Rep. Trey Gowdy (R., S.C.) delivered a classic response to news Hillary Clinton will turn over her private server to the FBI: “About damn time.”

The Chairman of the Benghazi Committee had been calling for Clinton to give the server to a third party arbiter for months.

“I can’t help but smile at the notion that somebody is voluntarily turning something over to the FBI,” Gowdy said. “They generally don’t ask. They generally tell you to do so.”

Earlier this week, Clinton swore under penalty of perjury that she delivered all of her work emails to the State Department for inspection and public release.

“I read that statement, and it’s easier to read Egyptian hieroglyphics than it is to parse the words that her lawyer wrote in that statement,” Gowdy said.

15 year old Shyanne Pike, of Lawrence, Massachusetts, has been missing since Wednesday, August 12, 2015 in Salem, New Hampshire. according to Salem Police., Shyanne Pike was last seen leaving Canobie Lake Park by herself at 3 p.m. Wednesday afternoon. She was at the amusement park with a group from the Lawrence Boys & Girls Club. Shyanne was last seen wearing a yellow Lawrence Boys & Girls Club T-shirt and jean shorts.

Shyanne Pike, of Lawrence, Massachusetts, was last seen leaving Canobie Lake Park by herself around 3 p.m. She was at the amusement park with a group from the Lawrence Boys & Girls Club.

Shyanne’s foster parents reported her missing around 5:11 p.m.

Shyanne is approximately 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighs around 208 pounds and has brown hair and blue eyes.

Shyanne was last seen wearing a yellow Lawrence Boys & Girls Club T-shirt and jean shorts.

Former President Jimmy Carter Has Cancer

Former President Jimmy Carter has cancer …

90 year old former President of the United States Jimmy Carter has announced that he has cancer. According to a statement from The Carter Center the  disease was discovered during recent liver surgery to remove “a small mass” and that the cancer “is now in other parts of my body.” The former 39th president will be undergoing treatment at Emory Healthcare in Atlanta. Although, I may disagree 100% with Carter’s politics and would like to forget his disastrous presidency from 1977 to 1981 making him the second worst president in history, however, I commend him for his post presidential work with Habitat for Humanity and wish he well and a fast recovery. Cancer does not discriminate between political ideology, it is a hideous disease that all of us have in one way or another been personally touched by. Get well Mr. President.

Former President Jimmy Carter, who at age 90 still travels the world supporting the humanitarian endeavors that have consumed his time in the decades since he left office, announced Wednesday he has cancer that has spread to other parts of his body

“Recent liver surgery revealed that I have cancer that now is in other parts of my body,” Carter said in the statement released by the Carter Center. “I will be rearranging my schedule as necessary so I can undergo treatment by physicians at Emory Healthcare.”

The statement makes clear that Carter’s cancer is widely spread but not where it originated, or even if that is known at this point. The liver is often a place where cancer spreads and less commonly is the primary source of it. The statement said further information will be provided when more facts are known, “possibly next week.”

Carter announced on Aug. 3 that he had surgery to remove a small mass from his liver.

Good wishes poured in on social media after Carter’s announcement, while President Barack Obama said he and first lady Michelle Obama wish Carter a fast and full recovery.

“Jimmy, you’re as resilient as they come, and along with the rest of America, we are rooting for you,” Obama said in a statement.

Carter was the nation’s 39th president, defeating Gerald Ford in 1976 with a pledge to always be honest.

Franklin Pierce Poll: Socialist Bernie Sanders Surges Ahead of Hillary Clinton in New Hampshire, 44% to 37%

Just how bad of a presidential candidate is Hillary Clinton for the Democrats? It has finally happened, the most recent Franklin Pierce poll shows that self-proclaimed socialist Bernie Sanders now leads Hillary Clinton by 7 percentage points, 44% to 37%. ARE YOU KIDDING? Hillary Clinton is considered by all as the presumptive Democrat nominee to run for president in 2016, but yet she finds herself behind in a poll to a socialist. Is it Hillary’s lack of trustworthiness not much of an issue? However, since when have Democrats cared about their presidents or candidates telling the truth, aka you can keep your doctors, if you like your doctor promise of Obamacare. Or has this email/private server scandal just pushed people from holding their nose when it comes to Clinton, to abandoning her? What would happen if Hillary Clinton actually had a viable competitor in the primaries, rather than a socialist like Sanders? Then again, no one can tell the difference anymore between the Socialist and Democrat parties these days.

Democratic presidential hopeful Bernie Sanders has rocketed past longtime front-runner Hillary Clinton in New Hampshire, a stunning turn in a race once considered a lock for the former secretary of state, a new Franklin Pierce University/Boston Herald poll shows.

Sanders leads Clinton 44-37 percent among likely Democratic primary voters, the first time the heavily favored Clinton has trailed in the 2016 primary campaign, according to the poll of 442 Granite-Staters.

Vice President Joe Biden got 9 percent support in the test primary match-up. The other announced Democrats in the race, former Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley, former Rhode Island Gov. Lincoln Chafee and former Virginia Gov. Jim Webb, barely register at 1 percent or below.

The live interview phone poll was conducted Aug. 7-10 and has a margin of error of plus or minus 4.7 percentage points.

Clinton is still viewed overwhelmingly by voters as the likely Democratic nominee, but the results suggest she faces an unexpectedly difficult fight to prevent an embarrassing opening loss in the first-in-the-nation primary.
