An expose published on Sunday alleges that President Obama deceived Americans with his narrative of the 2011 assassination of Osama bin Laden.
Author Seymour M. Hersh accuses Obama of rushing to take credit for the al Qaeda leader’s death.
This decision, Hersh argues in the London Review of Books, forced the military and intelligence communities to scramble and then corroborate the president’s version of events.
“High-level lying nonetheless remains the modus operandi of U.S. policy, along with secret prisons, drone attacks, Special Forces night raids, bypassing the chain of command, and cutting out those who might say no,” Hersh wrote of the Obama administration’s counterterrorism policies.
Hersh based his report on a single, anonymous source. This individual, he said, is a “retired senior intelligence official who was knowledgeable about the initial intelligence about bin Laden’s presence in Abottabad.”
Hersh’s source alleged that the Pakistani government had an active role in approving and implementing the raid on bin Laden’s compound.

23 Year Old Penn State Student Jon Steindorf Missing Since 5/8/15 in State College, PA (Update: Lied to Parents about Graduation & Attending Classes)(Update: Found Safe)
23 year old Penn State student Jon Steindorf has been missing since Friday, May 8, 2015 in State College, Pennsylvania. According to reports, the PSU student vanished just before his graduation. Stendort was last seen by his roommate at 11:30 a.m. on Friday. Steindorf was reported missing when he did not meet his family to go to his Penn State graduation Friday at around 4 p.m. at his Pugh Street apartment. He did not return any of his family’s phone calls or messages.
Missing – Jon Steindorf
Steindorf was reported missing when he did not meet his family to go to his Penn State graduation Friday at around 4 p.m.
Police describe Steindorf as a 23-year-old white male, 5’10” tall, 170 lbs with brown hair and blue eyes. He may have his black Specialized bicycle with him and a red backpack.
He left his apartment on Pugh Street without any form of identification, credit/debit cards, keys, phone, and potentially money, according to a social media post circulating among Steindorf’s family and friends.
UPDATE I: Police search for missing Penn State student.
“The police have gone through his apartment, talked to his roommate and took his phone for forensic analysis,” the woman said. “We’ve been in contact with all his friends, everybody they know, and really are just at a loss as to his whereabouts.”
A friend told the publication she’s checking his usual haunts. She hasn’t found him.
Joanne Steindorf said her son always let friends and family know his whereabouts.
UPDATE II: Parents thought missing man was graduating from Penn State.
It would appear that this kid was not being honest about graduating from college or even attending classes. I am not sure how long this missing student thought he could continue this charade; however, it is nothing to do anything extreme over. Is it an embarrassment, yes. But your parents just want you back safe and sound.
The parents of a missing 23-year-old State High graduate thought they’d be attending his graduation from Penn State this weekend.
As it turned out, Jon Steindorf had not enrolled last fall and had mysteriously vanished on Friday.
Steindorf was reported missing by his family Friday evening, a few hours after they went to his Pugh Street apartment at 4 p.m. to pick him up for Penn State commencement exercises.
His father, Paul Steindorf, said Sunday that he learned his son was not set to graduate this weekend, although Jon Steindorf told his parents that he wrapped up studies in the fall semester and delayed graduation until this spring.
“We thought he’d graduate, and that was our understanding that he completed fall classes and he delayed graduation until now, but the most recent information we received was he was not on the list to graduate,” Paul Steindorf said. “Apparently he wasn’t enrolled this fall.”
UPDATE III: Missing Penn State student lied to parents about graduation.
Jon Steindorf’s parents thought they were coming to State College to pick up their son after this weekend’s graduation from Penn State University. But as graduation approached, they learned that not only wasn’t their son graduating; he hasn’t been enrolled in Penn State since the fall.
And now, Jon Steindorf, 23, is missing.
WTAJ reports that State College Police are now looking for a missing Penn State student. His parents last spoke with Jon Steindorf Thursday.
Anyone with more information is asked to contact State College police at 814-234-7150.
UPDATE IV: Missing Penn State student found Safe.
A Penn State student reported missing by his parents last week has been found, and is safe and unharmed, State College police said Monday afternoon.
State College Police Department Media Release: The missing person has been located, is safe and unharmed.
Blind Mother Tatiana Guerra Could Only Imagine What Her Unborn Son Might Look Like Until Her Doctor Let Her See Him With 3D Printing
This will absolutely bring tears to your eyes on this Mother’s Day … belo , simplesmente belo.
Without doubt as stated at CNET, one of the most exciting and emotional events for parents about to have a child is getting to see their little tyke through an ultrasound. However, such an exciting moment was not possible for the blind. Not any more. This might be one of the most touching VIDEOS ever as Tatiana Guerra, a blind mother-to-be was provided a way to see her unborn baby for the first time thanks to 3D printing technology. The VIDEO will warm your heart. The video is entitled, ‘Meeting Murilo.’ But before Tatiana feels the actual 3D-printed sonogram of Murilo she reads a message in braille.“I am your son,” she says, laughing and crying all at all once. The 30 year old mom, who lost her sight when she was 17, was 20 weeks pregnant at the time of the exam. The video was uploaded on 4/30/15 and at last check it had 8,338,785 views.
A blind mother-to-be was able to “see” her unborn baby boy thanks to the advanced technology of 3D printing.
Tatiana Guerra didn’t think she could look forward to the moment many parents anticipate when they see their unborn child for one of the first times. But little did Guerra know what a surprise she was in for when she got to “see” her baby boy, Murilo in a way she probably never would have expected.
Guerra, who was 20-weeks pregnant at the time of her sonogram visit, lost her sight when she was 17, according to 3Dprint.com. Now 30, Guerra could only imagine what Murilo looks like now and what he’ll look like once he’s born.
“Mommy can’t wait to feel your little body, your little face, your little hands,” Guerra says in a video uploaded to YouTube April 30.
She then describes to the doctor how she imagines her baby boy will feel: ”His nose like a little potato, a small mouth, a chubby little hand.”
The 30-year-old, who lost her sight aged 17, is then handed a printout by her doctor.
She firstly runs her finger over a line of Braille at the top of the tablet, which reads “I am your son.”
Guerra then bursts out into tears of joy as she carefully caresses and traces the rest of the special ultrasound.
“I’m very happy to meet Murilo … before he’s born,” she says.
