On Live TV … During Baltimore Riot 2015 Thug Steals Car set on fire

ANARCHY IN THE INNER CITY …

So this is what happens when you have a complete lack of leadership during a time of crisis. UNREAL. Will anyone face any arrests for the destruction and damage that these low-life thugs caused?

The Blaze:

Fox News cameras captured wild footage Monday night of an apparent stolen vehicle driving wildly through the streets of Baltimore.

“Get down! Get back, get back! Get up on the stairs! Are you watching this guys?! Are they watching this?! Are you watching this?!” a Fox News correspondent was heard shouting.

Anchor Shepard Smith later said the network’s understanding was that the vehicle had been stolen and intentionally destroyed.

Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake Says Saturday We Gave Gray Protestors ‘Who Wish To Destroy Space To Do That’ … Monday, Total Anarchy and Riots Ensue as She Walks Back Her Comments

Want to know how things like in Baltimore happen, it comes from a complete lack of leadership.  Talk about a green light to protesters.

Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake said during a press conference on Saturday when tensions were on the rise …  “we also gave “those who wish to destroy space to do that as well.”

Mayor of Baltimore Stephanie Rawlings-Blake said that while officials worked to protect protestors taking action over the death of Freddie Gray they also gave “those who wish to destroy space to do that as well.” During her press conference Saturday, Rawlings-Blake said that she worked with police to make sure they protected the protestors’ right to free speech, “ It’s a very delicate balancing act because while we try to make sure that they (protestors) were protected from the cars and the other things that were going on, we also gave those who wished to destroy space to do that as well,” Rawlings-Blake said.

On Monday Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake had complete amnesia as she says to reports that she never said such a thing and would never say anything like we are giving people space to destroy the city of Baltimore. HUH? She scolded the media and said that her words should not be twisted. DOUBLE HUH? Watch the VIDEO below. Sorry toots, you made the comment. Who are you going to believe, the mayors words or her backtracking? It is obvious that Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake was acting in a PC manner and wanted to give the protesters and trouble makers all the room in the words because in her liberal mind was, if you let them get it out of their systems, it will stop. However, it exploded.

This was not the media twisting someones words, it was a politician who was in over their head and hasn’t a clue how to deal with the situation. Instead of leadership, she blames the media. This is what happens when ideology gets in the way of leadership.

More billiance from the Mayor … Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake announced Monday evening that a week-long curfew would go into effect Tuesday from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. local time, but many wondered why it had not been implemented Monday night. How in the hell was this curfew not put into place on Monday?

Governor Larry Hogan Signs Executive Order Declaring State Of Emergency … Activating National Guard to Baltimore, MD

A DAY LATE AND MANY MILLIONS OF DOLLARS IN DAME SHORT …

Following the anarchy, lawlessness, looting and rioting in West Baltimore in the wake of the Freddie Gray funeral, Gov. Larry Hogan signs an executive order declaring a state of emergency.

Some how Baltimore, MD was caught with their politically correct pants down on Monday as riots and lawlessness spread throughout the community as thugs and punks looted and destroyed the city. With all the signs pointing toward riots, no one in a leadership role looked at past events like Ferguson, MO, and other incidents where blacks were killed and a violent reactions that took place, as a means to set up safeguards in advance to prevent the chaos. Thus, we got the riots, looting, vandalism and craziness that took place in Baltimore yesterday.

Governor Larry Hogan today, at the request of Baltimore City, has signed an Executive Order declaring a state of emergency and activating the National Guard to address the growing violence and unrest in Baltimore City.

The governor, along with Lt. Governor Boyd Rutherford and National Guard Adjutant General Linda Singh, will hold a press conference at the Maryland Emergency Management Agency this evening at 8:30 PM.

The Executive Order can be read HERE.

The National Guard has also been called in to come to Baltimore, Maryland.

Maryland’s governor activated the National Guard on Monday and the city of Baltimore announced a curfew for all residents as a turbulent day that began with the funeral of 25-year-old Freddie Gray, the nation’s latest symbol of police brutality, ended with rioting by rock-throwing youths, arson, looting and at least 15 police officers injured.

Gov. Larry Hogan declared a state of emergency, and the Maryland State Police, who took command of the response, said they would ask for 5,000 law enforcement officials from the mid-Atlantic region to help quell the violence. Some National Guard units were to arrive on Monday night, with others deploying on Tuesday in armored Humvees.

In Washington, Attorney General Loretta E. Lynch, on her first day on the job, briefed President Obama, who in turn called Governor Hogan. Mr. Hogan said the president urged him to have law enforcement officers exercise restraint, and he assured the president they would. “But,” the governor added, “I assured him we weren’t going to stand by and allow our city of Baltimore to be taken over by thugs.”

Riots, Looting and Lawlessness Hit Baltimore following Funeral of Freddie Gray (VIDEO) (Update: Police Injured, Senior Center Burned to the Ground)

RIOTS AND LOOTING ROCK BALTIMORE …

Following the events in Baltimore, MD over the weekend, it was not hard to predict what would happen on Monday following the funeral of Freddie Gray, unless you were the Mayor of Baltimore. Just hours after the funeral of 25 year old Freddie Gray, who died in police custody after suffering a spinal cord injury, all hell broke loose in Baltimore. The so-called peaceful protests turned into lawlessness, rioting, looting and violence Monday afternoon and into the night as stores were burned and looted, bottles, bricks and stones were thrown at the police, injuring at least 15 police officers.

The VIDEO below shows the looting and eventual burning of the CVS store in West Baltimore. So this was justified by the death of Freddie Gray while in police custody that is being investigated. Hardly, some thugs just needed the excuse. Tell me, why would CVS ever want to rebuild this store? How about the mom and pop stores that were trashed and burned, who probably lost their livelihoods.

CVS Pharmacy Looted

Violence swept through pockets of a low-income section of West Baltimore on Monday afternoon as scores of rioters heaved bottles and rocks at riot-gear-clad police, set police cars on fire, and looted a pharmacy, a mall and other businesses. At least 15 officers were injured.

Images of the violence were broadcast nationwide just hours after Freddie Gray was eulogized at his funeral, and Gray’s family and clergy members called for calm. Gray died of an injury he suffered while in police custody.

The rioting did not appear to stem from any organized protests over Gray’s death.

Police from surrounding communities were called in to help. Gov. Larry Hogan (R) declared a state of emergency in the city and activated the National Guard. The troops were in Baltimore before midnight.

The officers were injured — some with broken bones and at least one rendered unconscious — shortly after the violence began about 3 p.m. Two officers remained hospitalized late Monday; they had been hit with items thrown mostly by school-age youths, police said. Officers in full riot gear were pelted with rocks and bottles as they moved in to arrest some of the dozens of young people who had assaulted them.

Mobs destroyed police cars, started several small fires, and invaded a check-cashing agency and sought to break into its ATM. Looters carried off armloads of merchandise from liquor stores and a CVS pharmacy at Pennsylvania and North avenues that also was set ablaze. By nightfall, 27 people had been arrested.

UPDATE I: Riots erupt across West Baltimore, downtown.

Violence and looting overtook much of West Baltimore on Monday, injuring more than a dozen police officers and leaving buildings and vehicles in flames.

As night fell, looters took to Mondawmin Mall and a Save-A-Lot and Rite Aid in Bolton Hill, loading up cars with stolen goods. About 10 fire crews battled a three-alarm fire at a large senior center under construction at Chester and Gay streets, as police officers stood guard with long guns.

About 10 p.m., police confirmed shots were fired at an officer in the area of Virginia Avenue and Reisterstown Road in Northwest Baltimore. The officer was not hit and the suspect fled.

Fifteen police officers were injured in a clash with school-age children that began around 3 p.m., and two remain hospitalized, police Col. Darryl DeSousa said in a press conference Monday night. Earlier, police spokesman Capt. Eric Kowalczyk said one officer was unresponsive and others suffered broken bones.

Police arrested 27 people, DeSousa said.
