UPDATE I: Shasta Himelrick Missing — Blood Found In Abandoned Car.

According to her grandmother, Shirley Himelrick, blood was found on the seat and the back of the headrest in the abandoned car. The discovery immediately created a sense of urgency surrounding her case, but also the anxiety of wondering whether or not she was the victim of foul play. Her social media presence in the days leading up to her disappearance don’t appear to show any warning, with her last post on Facebook being about how happy she was to be pregnant.

UPDATE II: Family of missing Shasta Himelrick believes body found in Scioto River is hers.

The relatives of a missing Ross County woman said they believe a body found in the Scioto River yesterday is hers.

An official positive ID isn’t expected until an autopsy is performed in Montgomery County today. Ross County Coroner John Gabis would not release details about the body other than to say it is a female.
