Streets of Fire … As Barack Obama Called For Calm Following the Grand Jury Decision, Chaos, Fires, Gunshots & Riots Broke Out in Ferguson, MO (VIDEO)

THEY DIDN’T LISTEN …

As President Barack Obama spoke to America following the grand jury decision in Ferguson, Missouri not to indict police officer Darren Wilson in the shooting death of Michael Brown, he called for calm. The problem, they didn’t listen. Last night the mid-west looked more like the Middle East as protesters burned, looted and completely destroyed numerous businesses and damaged property in their wake. The imagery during Barack Obama’s speech was breathtaking. His calls for calm, for peace, to not vandalize property was juxtaposed to riots, looting, fires and complete chaos.

“We are a nation built on the rule of law, so we need to accept that this decision was the grand jury’s to make,” he said, saying that while he understands some Americans will be “deeply disappointed—even angered,” police and communities need to move closer together, and “that won’t be done by throwing bottles. That won’t be done by smashing car windows. That won’t be done by using this as an excuse to vandalize property. It certainly won’t be done by hurting anybody.”

Look what happened when law enforcement took a kinder, gentler approach to the protesters.

Where was the National Guard? Critics question Missouri authorities’ handling of Ferguson riots
      Published November 25, 2014

Missouri’s lieutenant governor demanded answers Tuesday morning after violence exploded overnight in Ferguson, Mo. following a grand jury decision not to indict a police officer who shot and killed an unarmed black teenager in August.

Appearing on Fox News Channel’s “America’s Newsroom,” Lt. Gov. Peter Kinder took aim at Missouri’s chief executive: “If you are going to have the National Guard deployed and a state of emergency declared and then hold them back, I say the governor owes the people of Missouri a lot of explanations.” ….

The question still remains unanswered as to why there was no deployment during last night’s violent protests. According to Gov. Jay Nixon the National Guard will be deployed tonight.

“We see the National Guard rolling in this morning… where were they last night? The law-abiding citizens and business owners and taxpayers of Ferguson and the St. Louis region have a right to ask this governor to answer some questions,” Kinder said. “Why were they not in there at the first sign of an overturned police car or a smashed police car window with a show of force that would have stopped this?”

Kinder had a question of his own for Gov. Nixon: “Is the reason that the National Guard was not in there because the Obama administration and the Holder Justice Department leaned on you to keep them out? I cannot imagine any other reason why the governor who mobilized the National Guard would not have them in there to stop this.”

Ferguson on guard for another night of unrest as governor vows tough response
      Published November 25, 2014

Residents and business owners around the Ferguson, Mo. area warily awaited dusk on Tuesday afternoon as Gov. Jay Nixon vowed tough measures to protect a region scarred by rioting and clashes between demonstrators and police.

More than 1,500 National Guard troops will join about 700 guardsmen already on the scene to help local law enforcement protect residents and property in the Missouri city, one day after a grand jury declined to hand up an indictment against Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson, who shot and killed unarmed teenager Michael Brown in August.

“No one should have to live like this. No one deserves this. We must do better and we will,” a stern Nixon said at an afternoon press conference. “Lives and property must be protected. This community deserves to have peace.” ….

Maybe I am missing something…..is criminal behavior ok if you play the race card . This all began with the criminal threatening behavior of Michael Brown. How did he become the innocent victim? It is a shame that the rights of the mob outweighed the rights of the business owners and law abiding citizens. Shame on the officials for that. A curfew should have been in place and enforced. Demonstrations that include masks and other face coverings were a clear indicator of what was to come. How many employees and business owners lost their income? Who looked out for them? I would love for the media to do a report on the total monthly government assistance provided to residents (not race based). of the city of ferguson and make sure the displaced workers and business owners get the same amount.

SM: No you did not miss anything, you got it got it 100% correct. They sacrificed individuals businesses and livelihoods for the sake of the mob so that they did not look like they were overdoing a show of force. So they showed no force and 25 businesses were burned to the ground.

A curfew should of been in place, the protesting did nothing but make a screen for the criminals to loot, burn, shoot, destroy businesses, buildings, many innocent people were affected by the actions of protesting and supporting a criminals behavior. The protestors are responsible because they knew what was going to happen and helped it along. If you would of stayed home inside and respected the jurors decision that was based on truth it would of made a difference.

This whole thing had nothing to do with race on the behalf of the police officer.

If the blacks say “F*ck the Law”, “F*ck the Ppolice then you don’t belong in a civilized society. Maybe a controlled reservation is the place

#5….sorry, sent too soon…If the blacks say “Fuck the Law”, “Fuck the Police”, then you don’t belong in a civilized society. Maybe a controlled reservation is the place for them. You can’t continue to remain in society if you want to live and act like savages and destroy peoples lives, communities etc. because you have no values.

If they were going to protest it should of been directed to the blacks that commit criminal acts and especially toward their youths who are undisciplined and reflect the attitudes of their parents.

Did Barack Obama listen … really listen … to the prosecutor’s 20 minute expose’ encompassing the Grand Jury’s reasons why there would be no indictment or … was he furthering his own divisive agenda? His speech provided those he addressed with a mixed message.

THE IMMEDIATE UNDERMINING OF THE GRAND JURY PROCESS

      President Obama – November 24, 2014

“We are a nation built on the rule of law. And so we need to accept that this decision was the grand jury’s to make. There are Americans who are deeply disappointed, even angry. IT’S AN UNDERSTANDABLE REACTION.”

I agree with your #5 post completely. The last line may have to be implemented if the blacks don’t get their act together.

The Governor of Mo. was probably contacted by Obama or Holder and told to back off of planned police activities. The AG and POTUS are just stupid enough to believe they can talk the crazy black utes into behaving themselves.

This group of thugs probably comprises twenty-five or thirty percent of the black population. It is quite enough to make everyone blacks, whites and others miserable in small towns and cities all across the country.

The Governor should have called for a 9:15 P.M. to sunrise curfew and placed National Guard troops with heavy equipment at all major street intersections, placed two or more troops on selected rooftops with M16 automatic rifles with orders to shoot those that approached on foot or by auto if they did not leave the property when ordered.

I guess that Brown’s step father telling his fellow looters to “burn this B…h down” is asking for non violence ?
They even burned their own church ? It was planned to the t. They wanted all that free liquor. and not to forget that the businesses were minority owned.

    11. kashekamon on November 26th, 2014 1:36 pm

Looking at photos of protesting in over 170 cities….outrageous, blocking traffic, laying down on the expressways, the highways, the roads, subject to arrest, people are trying to get to places of importance, trying to get to and from work, trying to pick up their kids, it’s a public nuisance to block someone’s right of way, yelling, screaming and shouting, littering, urinating, people afraid to walk on the sidewalks, it’s a safety hazard and sometimes becomes a war zone. If protesting is going to continue then it needs to be done in a designated area.

OMG, the latest is, to boycott the white businesses in Ferguson because they didn’t do enough to protect the community.
