Ebola Nurse Nina Pham’s Boyfriend Rumored Admitted To Hospital With Ebola-Like Symptoms
RUT-ROH, could we have another case of Ebola?
It is being reported that the boyfriend of Nina Pham, a Dallas nurse that was diagnosed with Ebola, may have contracted the virus from her. The boyfriend’s coworkers at Alcon in Fort Worth were sent a letter saying that he was in a hospital isolation unit, suffering from systems that mimic Ebola.
Rumors swirled Sunday that Nina Pham’s boyfriend was “secretly” admitted to a hospital with Ebola-like symptoms, though the reports were not officially confirmed. Pham was the first person to contract the deadly virus on U.S. soil after she treated Liberian Ebola patient Thomas Eric Duncan. National fear rose that the Ebola diagnosis rate would grow in the U.S. after Pham contracted the infection, especially if she had spread it to her unidentified boyfriend.
Jeff George, the CEO of Alcon, a Fort Worth, Texas company that specializes in eye care products, sent an email to staff saying someone at the company was hospitalized with Ebola-like symptoms, Got News reported.
In a statement on its website, Alcon said an associate was admitted to Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital on Oct. 12 to monitor for “potential signs” of the infection but did not identify the person.
“This measure was taken due to the fact that the associate was in contact with the Texas Health Presbyterian health care worker who has recently tested positive for the virus,” the post reads. “The Alcon associate has not shown any signs or symptoms of the Ebola virus.”

CDC: You Can Give—But Can’t Get—Ebola on a Bus
October 15, 2014 – 3:26 PM
Dr. Tom Frieden, director of the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), said during a telephone press briefing Wednesday that you cannot get Ebola by sitting next to someone on a bus, but that infected or exposed persons should not ride public transportation because they could transmit the disease to someone else. ….
“Yes, CDC vetted the message, and, yes, we believe it’s accurate,” Frieden responded.
“I think there are two different parts of that equation,” he continued. “The first is, if you’re a member of the traveling public and are healthy, should you be worried that you might have gotten it by sitting next to someone? And the answer is no.”
“Second, if you are sick and you may have Ebola, should you get on a bus? And the answer to that is also no. You might become ill, you might have a problem that exposes someone around you,” he said.

Obama Repeats: You Can’t Get Ebola on a Bus—Day After Bus Quarantined in D.C.
October 20, 2014
On Saturday–one day after a bus that had departed from the Pentagon was quarantined on Capitol Hill in an Ebola false alarm–President Barack Obama issued a video message to Americans telling them that “you cannot get it [Ebola] from just riding on a plane or a bus.”
“Ebola is actually a difficult disease to catch. It’s not transmitted through the air like the flu,” Obama said in his weekly video message. “You cannot get it from just riding on a plane or a bus.”
But on Friday, a bus was quarantined on Virginia Avenue, SE, in the Capitol Hill area of Washington, D.C.–in what turned out to be an Ebola false alarm.

Thanks for the Heads up on this case. The world is a lot smaller than we think. My granddaughter works in the surgical section of this company.
We have a government that fails in the number one duty of protecting the people. When a government fails in its duty it is the right of the people to shut it down and organize another that is responsible to the people.
