Is ISIS Really Targeting Pope Francis … He Did Previously Give His Blessing to Bomb Them

As reported by CBS News, ISIS, the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria is targeting Pope Francis. However, the Vatican is denying the report. Recently, the Pontiff supported the use of force to stop Islamic extremists from attacking religious minorities in Iraq. In a change from the Vatican’s opposition to military force, Pope Francis blessed the use of force to stop the vicious Islamic radicals overrunning Iraq, but he said any intervention first must be backed by the international community.

A new report claims that the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria is targeting Pope Francis — a report that the Vatican says is simply not true.

According to Il Tempo, Israeli sources reportedly told the Italian newspaper that the pope is “in the crosshairs of ISIS.” The report stated that Francis is being targeted because he is “the greatest exponent of the Christian religions” and the “bearer of false truth.”

The Vatican, though, denounced the report.

“There is nothing serious to this,” Father Federico Lombardi S.J., a Vatican spokesman, told Catholic News Agency. “There is no particular concern in the Vatican. This news has no foundation.”

The Catholic News Agency reports that Italy has issued a nationwide terror alert, despite no imminent threats or specifics about a potential attack on the country.

British Prime Minister conducted a press conference at 10 Downing Street to do what US President Barack Obama could not, be a leader and put into perspective the terror threat that ISIS poses to the UK and the world. PM David Cameron stated, that while the “Taliban facilitated al-Qaida terrorism, the Islamic State group is “effectively a state run by terrorists ”  and their ambition to create an Islamist caliphate is not something that could be ignored. Juxtapose that with Obama who underestimated ISIS as they “jayvee” and stated the other day that “we do not have a strategy” to deal with ISIS.

Britain raised the country’s terror threat level from substantial to severe just before Cameron held his news conference. The threat level means a terrorist attack is considered highly likely. Cameron warned that the return of hundreds of murderous extremists posed a greater threat to our security than Al Qaeda or the IRA ever did.  Cameron further went on to say that Islamist terrorists cannot be ‘appeased’ and need to be faced down. Where was Obama, at a fund raiser of course.

CNN:

The UK government raised its terror threat level Friday from “substantial” to “severe,” the fourth highest of five levels, in response to events in Iraq and Syria, where ISIS militants have seized a large swath of territory.

“That means that a terrorist attack is highly likely, but there is no intelligence to suggest that an attack is imminent,” Home Secretary Theresa May said.

The “root cause” of Britain’s terror threat is “Islamist extremism,” Prime Minister David Cameron said. The execution of American journalist James Foley is clear evidence that ISIS’s fight in Iraq and Syria “is not some foreign conflict thousands of miles from home that we can hope to ignore,” according to the UK leader.

Just curious, when was the last time or any time that you would ever hear the following words out of Barack Obama’s mouth when it came to discussing American values, protecting American values and standing up for American values? During David Cameron’s speech he said the following:

Britain is an open, tolerant and free nation. We are a country that backs everyone community who want to work hard, make a contribution and build a life for themselves and their family. But we cannot stand by and allow our openness be confused with the tolerance of extremism. Or one that encourages different cultures to lead separate lives and allows people to behave in ways that run completely counter to British values. Adhering to British values is not an option or a choice, it is a duty of those who live in these islands. And in the end, it is only by standing up for these values that we will defeat this extremism, protect our way of life and keep our people safe.

Gallup Poll: Barack Obama’s “Strong Disapproval” Double His “Strong Approval”

WHEN IT ALL ENDS OBAMA WILL BE THE WORST PRESIDENT IN AMERICAN HISTORY …

According to the most recent Gallup poll, Barack Obama’s “strongly disapproval” rating is more than double that of his “strong approval” one. Republicans have gone from 58% strongly disapprove in 2009 to 75% strongly disapprove in 2014. However, the real story may be in the disillusionment of Democrats. In 2009, 65% of Democrats had a strong approval of the Obamamessiah but in 2004 that percentage has dropped to 38%. It would appear that Barack Obama was not the one that they had been waiting for.

Gallup:

Americans are more than twice as likely to say they “strongly disapprove” (39%) of President Barack Obama’s job performance as they are to say they “strongly approve” (17%). The percentage of Americans who strongly disapprove of Obama has increased over time, while the percentage who strongly approve has dropped by almost half.

In the first year of Obama’s presidency, the percentages of Americans who had strong views about the job he was doing were essentially tied, but the strongly negative responses now significantly outweigh the strongly positive ones. The largest segment of Americans today, 39%, strongly disapprove of Obama’s job performance, while 14% moderately disapprove. Another 27% moderately approve, while 17% strongly approve.

Strong disapproval of the president’s job performance has been within 30% to 39% the four times Gallup has asked the question — in 2009, 2010, 2011, and now this year — but has risen by five percentage points since 2011, and by nine points since the first month Obama was in office. At the same time, strong approval has fallen by nine points in the last three years, and by 15 points since January 2009.

Body of Missing 21 Year Old College Bound Student Lucius Robbi Headed from Idaho to the University of Montana

Sad conclusion to the story of missing college bound student Lucius Robbi.

21 year old Lucius Robbi  has been found dead in his vehicle after going missing more than a week ago while headed from Banks, Idaho, to the University of Montana to orientation. Robbi was last seen in Banks, Idaho, on Tuesday, August 19, 2014 . According to accounts, Lucius Robbi died in a car accident en route to the University of Montana.  As reported at The Missoulian, at 10:20 p.m., the Boise County sheriff confirmed to the Idaho Statesman that Robbi and his car had been found, and said a statement would be released by Custer County on Friday. He provided no further details.

 University of Montana student whose disappearance sparked a frantic, two-state search died in a car accident, a family friend said.

Lucius Robbi, 21, has been found dead after vanishing more than a week ago while headed from Banks, Idaho, to the University of Montana to attend orientation.

Few details surrounding his death have been released, but Holly Hayes, a family friend who had been helping coordinate the search, posted the grim news to the Finding Lucius Robbi Facebook Page:

“Thank you all for everything you’ve done Finding Lucius Robbi,” she wrote. “This evening he was found. He passed in a fatal car accident. My heart goes out to all who had the pleasure of knowing him and to all those who have been touched by him.”

On a Facebook page titled “Finding Lucius”:

“Thank you all for everything you’ve done Finding Lucius Robbi,” Hayes wrote. “This evening he was found. He passed in a fatal car accident and my heart goes out to all who had the pleasure of knowing him and to all those who have been touched by him.”
