It has been 9 years since George Smith IV went missing aboard the Royal Caribbean Cruise line “Brilliance of the Seas” … the mystery an unanswered questions continue.
It has been none years since George Smith IV went missing while on his honeymoon with Jennifer Hagel Smith aboard the Royal Caribbean Cruise Line “Brilliance of the Seas”. Since that fateful day, July 5, 2005, George’s family, his parents George and Maureen and sister Bree, have fought to learn the truth of what happened the night that George Smith went missing. The Smith family is certain that it was no accident. They appeared on CBS 48 Hours Saturday night, Maureen Smith said, “I have no doubt in my mind whatsoever that my son was murdered on that cruise ship.” The family has renewed their push to solve the case, they are offering a $100,000 reward for information leading directly to the arrest and conviction of whoever was responsible for their son’s disappearance.
George’s sister Bree says it the best as she told ’48 Hours’, “I think the reward will propel people forward.” People need to come forward and tell what they know and there needs to be justice.”
Nine years ago – July 5, 2005 – George Smith IV vanished from his honeymoon cruise in the Aegean Sea. His body has never been found.
Contrary to what authorities have said, his mother, Maureen Smith, is certain it was no accident.
“I have no doubt in my mind whatsoever that my son was murdered on that cruise ship,” she tells CBS News’ 48 HOURS.

The reward and media surge come three months after the family launched a Facebook profile to post evidence and information relating to their ongoing search for justice.
“We’re definitely not giving up,” Bree Smith said. “We started our Facebook crusade by releasing evidence we have collected about George’s disappearance. Between the Facebook crusade and the reward, we are hopeful this is the year we will get justice for George.”

Three Teens Attack & Rob Ice Cream Man and Post it on Facebook in Charlotte, NC (Update: One Teen Daishaun Tyrone Burney Arrested)
What the hell has happened to this country?
Three teens attacked and robbed an ice cream man in Charlotte, North Carolina. Really, this is how punk teens are acting these days? Lock ‘em up as they obviously serve no useful purpose to society. Outrage from residents in the community has led to the arrest of at least one teenager. Daishaun Tyrone Burney was arrested and charged with common law robbery. The police are still hunting for two more teens in the video.

Outraged viewers reached out to Eyewitness News about a Facebook video they said showed three young people attacking and robbing an ice cream man in Northeast Charlotte.

The ice cream man closes it and soon the girl and other young people begin hitting the man over and over.
“It seems like he’s not trying to fight back initially, like he just wants to be left alone, and that’s the thing — you can’t even be left alone,” said Manuel Fuentes.
He contacted Eyewitness News about the video and said the young people should be arrested.
“It’s just not right because the man didn’t do anything,” he said.
Eyewitness News reached out to police Friday morning about the incident.

In just another example of the world has gone mad, convicted killer Joran Van der Sloot was married his Peruvian girlfriend conjugal squeeze Leidy Figueroa on Friday morning at the Peruvian prison that the “Little Sporter” is being held for murder. John Barrera, Mayor of Ancón District, presided over the ceremony. How special, maybe his mom Anita could have a first dance to “Psycho Killer”. It gets even worse, Figueroa is pregnant with this dirt-bags child. Van der Sloot is currently serving a 28 year prison sentence for the murder of Stephanie Flores and is the prime suspect for all common sense thinking people in the disappearance and death of Alabama teen, Natalee Holloway who went missing in 2005 on Aruba.

Joran van der Sloot, the prime suspect in the 2005 disappearance of U.S. teen Natalee Holloway, married his pregnant Peruvian girlfriend Friday in a ceremony at the maximum-security prison where he is serving 28 years for murdering a woman he met in a Lima casino.
Van der Sloot, 26, wed Leidy Figueroa, 24, in a private ceremony. Prison officials prohibited video and photos during the midday nuptials and none of the groom’s relatives attended, said his attorney, Maximo Altez.
Wearing a tailored suit and dress shoes sent by his mother, Van der Sloot told his bride, who is seven months pregnant, that after he is released from prison, “‘I want to marry you again,’ and she told him the same,” said John Barrera, who officiated the wedding as mayor of the city of Ancon, where the prison is located.

Just sick. This murderer snuffs out the lives of 18 year old Natalee Holloway and 21 year old Stephanie Flores and he is allowed to have a life, get married and have children. I wonder where Joran Van der Sloot wedding registry was … Murderers R Us? Maybe Joran and Leidy can honeymoon in Aruba?
We are still looking for confirmation as to whether Joran’s new wife took out the phrase “unto death do us part” from the wedding vows, for obvious reasons.
The Dutch national, who is serving a 28-year sentence for the killing of Stephany Flores — married a Peruvian woman named Leidy Figueroa on Friday morning, his attorney told CNN en Espanol.
The nuptials took place at the Lima, Peru, prison where the 26-year-old van der Sloot is being held, according to the lawyer, Maximo Altez. John Barrera, Mayor of Ancón District, presided over the ceremony.
Van der Sloot is expected to become a father in September, when Figureoa is due to give birth to their child together, Altez said.
But just like he won’t have a honeymoon anytime soon, van der Sloot won’t be around to change diapers after the baby heads home.
Even his mother these days refuses to have contact with Joran as she believes his is sick in the head. Ta think? Although she still is in denial that he had anything to do with the death of Natalee Holloway, she does believe he did murder Stephany Flores. Anita claims that days before he went to Peru, Joran was supposed to be committed to a psychiatric facility in Holland. Sorry Anita, Joran Van der Sloot did not need mental help after the death of his father or Nataee Holloway, this killer needed help long before that.

Search Continues for 19 Year Old, Pregnant Military Wife Erin Corwin Missng Since 6/28/14 in San Bernardino County, CA (Update: Erin Corwin’s Car Found)
19 year old Erin Corwin has been missing since Saturday, June 28, 2014. Corwin, a military wife, who is 3 months pregnant, was last seen at 7 AM leaving her marine base Twentynine Palms home en-route to Joshua Tree National Forest (map). The sheriff’s department said Erin Corwin’s car is a 2013 Toyota Corolla with California license plate 7CJX519. KTLA.com reported, the Corwins, who have been married for a year in a half, are originally from Oak Ridge, TN. Her husband, Jonathan Wayne Corwin, a corporal in the U.S. Marine Corps, told police his wife planned to visit the park to scout out a desirable location for a family outing during an upcoming visit with her mother. Her husband reported her missing the next day.
Erin is a white female adult, 5’02″, 120 lbs., Brown hair, Blue eyes and is three months pregnant. She has no history of medical and/or psychological issues. Erin was last seen driving a blue, 2013 Toyota Corolla with California license plate number 7CJX519.

UPDATE I: Missing military wife’s car found; still no sign of pregnant 19-year-old.
According to the police, Corwin’s 2013 blue Toyota Corolla was found in Twentynine Palms on Monday. San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department said, “They felt it was necessary for those investigators to get involved early on. They said there were some suspicious circumstances.”
California police recovered a missing pregnant woman’s car — but they’re still not sure where she is.
Erin Corwin’s Toyota Corolla was spotted close to her Twentynine Palms home on Monday after the 19-year-old Marine wife went missing on Saturday, KTLA reported.
Corwin, who is three months pregnant, was last seen Saturday morning when she left the Marine base where she lives with her corporal husband to drive to Joshua Tree National Park.

UPDATE I: Witness Says Erin Corwin Voluntarily Drove Off with Another Man Before Vanishing.
Michael Beasley lives on Bagdad Highway, near the location where a Twentynine Palms Water District employee spotted Corwin’s abandoned, blue Toyota Corolla on Monday, June 30.
Michael Beasley tells San Diego, California, TV station CBS 8 that on the morning of Saturday, June 28, after Corwin left her at home in Twentynine Palms, reportedly for a solo day trip to Joshua Tree National Park, he saw her meet a man, exit and lock her blue Toyota, and then climb into the man’s red sedan.
“They were just sitting and chatting,” said Beasley. “If she wanted to get out of the car and say, ‘I don’t want to be in this car,’ she could have.”
The pair then drove off together in the man’s vehicle, he said.
