Looks like the customer isn’t always right …

A Waffle House cook. 25-year-old Quintavius Martin, shot and killed a customer, 33-year-old Adrian Mosley, after an argument Friday morning at a Waff;e House in South Fulton County, Georgia. The police were called to the restaurant on Fulton Industrial Boulevard and Shirley Drive just after 4:30 AM. According to a witness, “Three people came in and they were being unruly.”  They were asked to leave, one female did; however, the two guys hung around and one of them got into it with the cook and the security guard. According to accounts, one of the customers threatened Martin saying, “he’s from this side of town and you can take it outside because I’m going to fire you up.”  Quintavius Martin has been charged with murder.

One might say that the Waffle House cook was defending himself and this was justifiable homicide.

Police say a Waffle House cook shot and killed a customer after an argument Friday morning.

Officers said they were called to the restaurant on Fulton Industrial Boulevard and Shirley Drive just after 4:30 a.m.

“Three people came in and they were being unruly,” said witness Ontray Haley. “The female that was with them they asked her to leave so she left, but the two guys hung around and one of them got into it with the cook and the security guard. Next this I know shots rang out and it was a chaotic scene. Everybody was running and ducking.”

Fulton County police detectives said the customer, identified as 33-year-old Adrian Mosley, may have thrown water into 25-year-old Quintavius Martin’s face before Martin, the Waffle House cook, pulled a gun.

“The guy was threatening the cook saying he’s from this side of town and (Martin) said you can take it outside because I’m going to fire you up, which I guess he meant he wanted to shoot him or whatever,” Haley said. “I didn’t know the cook had a weapon on him because I thought the security guard shot him.”

UPDATE I: Accused Waffle House shooter waives first court appearance.

Quintavius Martin, the Waffle House employee charged with shooting and killing a customer during an argument Friday morning, waived his first court appearance Saturday, said Fulton County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Tracy Flanagan.

Fulton County police Cpl. Kay Lester said Martin, 25, has been charged with murder, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime and carrying a concealed weapon without a permit. He is being held at the Fulton County Jail without bond.

Responders from around nine public agencies are on scene assisting with the search, along with more than 100 volunteers, Pittman said.

The county has also called in assistance from neighboring Bay Area counties to continue the search through the night and into tomorrow if necessary.

So far, searchers have found no signs of Ida and no indications of foul play, Pittman said.

Pittman said the Rothschild family, which has two other children, boys aged 5 and 2, is visiting from Santa Fe, New Mexico. They spent yesterday in Muir Beach before coming to Samuel P. Taylor, a heavily forested state park west of Fairfax known for its redwoods and Lagunitas Creek.

Ida is described as being 4 feet 2 inches tall with very dark, almost black hair cut in blunt bangs. She was last seen wearing a pink floral-print terry cloth swimsuit coverup, Pittman said.

Massive search for child at Samuel P. Taylor Park – Child was camping with family.

The area is rugged, with dense growth and rolling open hills that go for miles, the sheriff’s office said. Lagunitas Creek was receiving special attention because the waterway could be a lure to a child. Water rescue teams from the Marin County Fire Department were searching the creek area. California Highway Patrol aircraft were scanning the area, and thermal equipment was being brought in to assist as the search went into the evening.

The family had visited Muir Beach before coming to the park, and authorities speculated the girl could have been trying to find it because she enjoyed being there so much.

HILLARY CLINTON Loses It on NPR Radio Host Over Gay Marriage Record

Hypocrisy Hillary … Wow, if Hillary Clinton can’t keep composed on liberal NPR, how is she going to handle questions as a presidential candidate or will the MSM just give her a pass like Obama?

Get ready for Hillary Clinton’s favorable ratings to drop even more as America listens to Hillary Clinton and suddenly remembers that the Clinton era gave us the words, parsing and “Clintonesque”. Neither an endearing quality. In what can only be described as another disastrous interview, Hillary Clinton snaps at the radio host Terry Gross on NPR for pressing her on her gay marriage record. Note to Hillary, an NPR interview is supposed to be a liberal softball. More at Hot Air.

CLINTON: “No, I don’t think you are trying to clarify. I think you are trying to say that I used to be opposed and now I am in favor and I did it for political reasons. And that’s just flat wrong. So let me just state what I feel like I think you are implying and repudiate it. I have a strong record. I have a great commitment to this issue and I am proud of what I’ve done and the progress were making.”

Defensive, Testy Gay Marriage Interview

In an interview this afternoon on NPR, Hillary Clinton gets testy and defensive about her and her husband’s gay marriage record.

After 6 minutes of questioning, Clinton attacks host Terry Gross for pressing her on whether she changed her mind on gay marriage or she publicly stated something she had always believed.

GROSS: “So that’s one for you changed your mind?”

CLINTON: You know I really, I have to say, I think you being very persistent, but you are playing with my words and playing with what is such an important issue.”

GROSS: “I’m just trying to clarify so I can understand-”

CLINTON: “No, I don’t think you are trying to clarify.

During the interview, Clinton also attacks gay marriage opponents who “believe they have a direct line to the divine” and claims that “not that many” people supported gay marriage when her husband signed DOMA into law.
