UPDATE II: Police interviewing family in infant’s disappearance.

Kopp said Marshall reported the incident as an apparent abduction.

Police in Iowa took the baby’s aunt into custody later Thursday for questioning. She had been visiting the residence at 836 E. Homeland Court and left at about 1:30 a.m. Thursday. That was about the last time people at the residence saw the baby, Kopp said.

Kopp said police reached the woman on her cellphone Thursday as she was driving near West Branch, Iowa, which is along Interstate 80 about 180 miles southwest of Beloit. Police asked the woman to pull over. An officer took the woman into custody after learning she had an outstanding Texas warrant accusing her of fraud, Kopp said.

The baby was not with the woman when police found her, and the baby had not been located as of Thursday afternoon, Kopp said. It’s not clear why the aunt left early Thursday morning. She apparently is a Colorado resident and was visiting after the baby was born, Kopp said.

The woman was being questioned along with four other people who had been staying at the residence Wednesday night, Kopp said.

Marshall and the baby’s father, Bruce Powell, 23, of Beloit, were at the residence at the time the baby was reported missing, along with Bennett and Marshall’s brother. They were among those being questioned. They were cooperative, and the parents were “very distraught and upset,” Kopp said.

The parents had been staying at the residence because a person who lives with them at their Beloit home was ill and they didn’t want to expose the newborn baby to the sick person, Kopp said.

Good Grief … Celebrity Boxing Match Set Between George Zimmerman and Rapper DMX (Earl Simmons)

Well this hardly promises to be like the “Rumble in the Jungle”.

I can see David Buffer providing the pre-fight intro … LET’S GET READY TO STUMBLE!!!!

TMZ is reporting that the a boxing match is on between George Zimmerman and rapper DMX. Yes, that same George Zimmerman. It would appear that Zimmerman and DMX are going to have a 3 round boxing match. Celebrity boxing promoter Damon Feldman says that there were 15,000 applicants who wanted to take ob George Zimmerman, the neighborhood watch volunteer who was found “not guilty” in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin.  Really, DMX? Obviously the rapper wants to beat the hell out of Zimmerman, he has made that pretty obvious by his words below. But wouldn’t such a match have been better had Zimmerman been in the ring with Jesse Jackson or Al Sharpton? Now that’s a match I would be willing to pay for!

Oh by the way, celebrity boxing match. George Zimmerman is a celebrity, really?

VIDEO – CNN

Celebrity boxing promoter Damon Feldman tells us, DMX was selected out of 15,000 applicants … all of whom wanted a piece of Zimmerman in the ring after he issued the open challenge to fight anyone willing to take him.

But no one wanted to beat Zimmerman’s ass more than DMX.

As we first reported, DMX promised to massacre Zimmerman in the ring if he got the chance. To be exact, he said, “I am going to beat the living f**k out him I am breaking every rule in boxing to make sure I f**k him right up.” He then said he’d literally piss on George’s face.

George Zimmerman better hope Obamacare covers the injuries he is about to get in this beat down.

On a serious note, George … GO AWAY!!!

Oh wait, check this comment out from Al Sharpton regarding the event. Um, this coming from the man who made himself of celebrity and hero from the false rape accusation of of a police officer in the Tawana Brawley case.

We must be very careful not to glorify or in any way sidestep the implications of making someone whose only claim to fame was killing an unarmed, young man named Trayvon Martin into a cultural celebrity or hero,” Sharpton said.

New Olympic Terror Threats Ahead of Sochi Winter Games … US Warns Airlines About Toothpaste Tube Bomb

Just ahead of the start of the Sochi Winter Olympics and a new terror threat …

The United States Department of Homeland Security has issued a warning to US  and some foreign airlines travelers to Russia for the Sochi Olympic Games to be on the look out for tubes of toothpaste. According to the ABC report, that cited a senior U.S. official, intelligence has indicated that toothpaste tubes can hold ingredients that could be used to construct a bomb aboard a plane. The information “specifically targets flights to Russia.” This threat was also linked to the arrests of two women in France.  The women, reportedly 23- and 30-years-old, were of Chechen descent. Leading up to the Olympics in Sochi, there have been many terror attacks in the region, concerns of  black widows already being in the area, and promises by Chechen terrorists of delivering “surprise packages.”

The Department of Homeland Security has issued a warning to U.S. and some foreign airlines traveling to Russia for the Olympic Games to be on the lookout for toothpaste containers, which some intelligence indicates may actually hold ingredients that could be used to construct a bomb aboard a plane, a senior U.S. official told ABC News.

The official did not provide further details about the warning or the intelligence that prompted it, but an official with the Department of Homeland Security, while declining to discuss the specific warning, said the department “regularly shares relevant information with domestic and international partners, including those associated with international events such as the Sochi Olympics.”

“While we are not aware of a specific threat to the homeland at this time, this routine communication is an important part of our commitment to making sure we meet that priority,” the official said. “As always, our security apparatus includes a number of measures, both seen and unseen, and DHS will continue to adjust security measures to fit an ever evolving threat environment.”

A federal law enforcement source said the information is largely intended for foreign carriers and the generic threat is not directed at the U.S. homeland. The Russian government has been informed, the source said.

Going to the Olympics, leave your toothpaste at home.

In an interview with CNN’s Jake Tapper last week, U.S. President Barack Obama said that he believes “Sochi is safe.” Great, this coming from the man who said, if you like your healthcare plan, you can keep your health care plan. Some how this is hardly a vote of confidence for the Winter Olympic Games.
