Attorney Cleta Mitchell Says to Congress: IRS Scandal Against Tea Party & Conservative Organizations is Real and the DOJ Investigation of the IRS Is a Sham

Attorney Cleta Mitchell addresses Congress regarding the continued IRS scandal … IT IS REAL, STILL NOT OVER AND THE INVESTIGATION IS A SHAM!

It would appear that there is more than a “smidgen” of corruption in IRS-gate.

  1. The IRS scandal is real. It’s not pretend, it’s real.
  2. The IRS scandal is not just a bone-headed bunch of bureaucrats in some remote office contrary to what the president of the United States told the American people on [Super Bowl] Sunday.
  3. The IRS scandal is not over. It is continuing to this day and the Department of Justice investigation is a sham.

Explosive testimony lit up a House hearing on the IRS targeting scandal Thursday, as GOP super lawyer Cleta Mitchell told representatives that the systematic effort to delay the processing of grass-roots groups’ applications for nonprofit status continues to occur.

Mitchell represents several grass-roots conservative organizations whose applications under sections 501c3 and 501c4 of the internal revenue code were delayed for years in the run-up to the 2012 election. She said that targeting had not stopped.

The Hillary Papers … Archive of ‘Closest Friend’ Paints Portrait of Hillary Clinton as Ruthless First Lady

THE HILLARY PAPERS … Hillary Clinton as Ruthless First Lady, Imagine that?

Hillary Clinton is the overwhelming odds on favorite to be the Democrat presidential nominee for the 2016 presidential election, so when it comes to the Hillary Papers, What difference, at this point, does it make?  Maybe this might be of some relevance … her early support for single-payer, despite later denials, is directly relevant to the current Obamacare debacle that will be an issue in the 2016 election. How is she going to be able to run from Obamacare when she had Hillary Healthcare?

If many think today that Barack Obama cannot be trusted, what would they think of Hillary Clinton who has a political motivation for everything that she does?

The Washington Free Beacon:

On May 12, 1992, Stan Greenberg and Celinda Lake, top pollsters for Bill Clinton’s presidential campaign, issued a confidential memo. The memo’s subject was “Research on Hillary Clinton.”

Voters admired the strength of the Arkansas first couple, the pollsters wrote. However, “they also fear that only someone too politically ambitious, too strong, and too ruthless could survive such controversy so well.”

Their conclusion: “What voters find slick in Bill Clinton, they find ruthless in Hillary.”

The full memo is one of many previously unpublished documents contained in the archive of one of Hillary Clinton’s best friends and advisers, documents that portray the former first lady, secretary of State, and potential 2016 presidential candidate as a strong, ambitious, and ruthless Democratic operative.

The papers of Diane Blair, a political science professor Hillary Clinton described as her “closest friend” before Blair’s death in 2000, record years of candid conversations with the Clintons on issues ranging from single-payer health care to Monica Lewinsky.

The question remains for 2016, does Hillary have too much political baggage in her past and a lack of accomplishments to be president? Please tell me that America has learned from just electing someone for being the first?

Mizzouri Tigers DE Michael Sam Says He’s Gay, Set to be First Openly Gay Player in NFL … “Not That There is Anything Wrong With That”

In an interview with ESPN’s ‘Outside the Lines,’ Missouri Tiger’s DE Michael Sam says, “I am an openly, proud gay man.”

Michael Sam was the 2013 AP SEC defensive player of the year and is expected to be drafted in the early to mid rounds of the upcoming NFL draft. But believe it or not, for those in the know and around football, especially teams getting background and vetting college players for the NFL draft, this is hardly a revelation. So for the most part this was not a surprise. NFL teams vet players more than the media vets potential presidential candidates, which is a shame and a story for another day. With the story out there Michael Sam came out and professed his sexuality as he said, “I want to own my truth. … No one else should tell my story but me.”

Michael Sam, an All-American defensive lineman from Missouri and the Associated Press’ SEC Defensive Player of the Year, said that he is gay in an interview with ESPN’s “Outside the Lines” on Sunday.

Sam stated publicly what his teammates and coaches at Mizzou have known since August: “I am an openly, proud gay man.”

Sam is eligible for the NFL draft in May. Assuming that he is drafted, Sam could become the first openly gay player in the history of the NFL.

“I understand how big this is,” he said. “It’s a big deal. No one has done this before. And it’s kind of a nervous process, but I know what I want to be … I want to be a football player in the NFL.”

Reaction to Michael Sam news explodes on Twitter.

The NFL released a statement Sunday night supporting Michael Sam. (VIDEO)

“We admire Michael Sam’s honesty and courage,” NFL senior vice president of communications Greg Aiello said in the statement. “Michael is a football player. Any player with ability and determination can succeed in the NFL. We look forward to welcoming and supporting Michael Sam in 2014.”

ABC News: Michael Sam should be commended.

What happens next is what’s most interesting here. Michael Sam’s decision to come out as gay in advance of his arrival in the NFL is courageous and historic and should be celebrated as such. The best way to celebrate it would be to leave him alone and let him play football.

But that’s not going to happen, at least not right away. This is going to be the story of the week and the story of next week’s scouting combine and one of the big stories of the draft and of the early days of training camp for whichever team picks Sam. The manner in which this story is received and covered by the outside world will say a lot about where we are as a society in 2014. We’ve been covering and anticipating this story for a while without a name or a date. Now that we have both, let’s all hope we’re as well prepared to handle it as he is.

Hmm, commended … The American Thinker has another point of view that has validity as well … “Tolerance is a good thing. I’m all for it. But being tolerant doesn’t mean you have to shut your mouth when people make fools of themselves.” I thought the mantra from the Bill Clinton – Monica affair was that it was a personal matter and none of our business?

I will never understand this narcissistic impulse among many gays to flaunt their sexual preference. This is a personal and private matter that most of the rest of us aren’t interested in knowing.

On a person note so Michael Sam is gay, not that there is anything wrong with that (VIDEO). From personal experience a sports locker room can be an interesting place when it comes to comments. Let’s just hope that from this point going forward he is just known as a football player; however, the media is going to make a circus out of the fact that he is the first openly gay football player. The truth is that it is commendable that he came out; however, another truth is that many teams may think that this will be a distraction in the locker room and many will not want to deal with the circus of a MSM focusing on a players sexuality, rather than the team. This could cause his draft stock to drop and of course if he does go lower than what was originally projected, that will become a media story and cries of discrimination.

The news that former Missouri defensive end Michael Sam is gay holds significant social and cultural ramifications. But from a purely football perspective, his decision to come out prior to May’s NFL draft will make his path to the league daunting, eight NFL executives and coaches told SI.com.

In blunt terms, they project a significant drop in Sam’s draft stock, a publicity circus and an NFL locker room culture not prepared to deal with an openly gay player. Sam, the SEC Defensive Player of the Year, was projected as a mid- to late-round draft pick prior to his announcement.

While none of the executives overtly condemned Sam’s decision, their opinions illuminated an NFL culture in which an openly gay player — from the draft room to the locker room — faces long odds and a lonely path.

CNN:

Harry Devert’s motorcycle journey from the United States to Latin America is somewhat reminiscent of “The Motorcycle Diaries,” which recount the South American travels of revolutionary Ernesto “Che” Guevara on an old motorbike in search of his insurgent spirit.

But Devert, 32, who left a job as a trader in finance to travel the world, has not been in touch with his mother or girlfriend in New York since January 25. That day he sent girlfriend Sarah Ashley Schiear an ominous text via the WhatsApp messenger app.

“Just got an hour and a half long escort out of some area it was too dangerous for me to be,” the message said. “Stopping for lunch and … voila Internet. … Gonna get back on the road soon. Apparently there’s another military escort waiting for me in some other town… I’m running way late because of the crazy military stuff…hopefully get a chance to talk to you tonight when I (hopefully) finally arrive.”

He had checked out of a bed and breakfast in the southwestern Mexican state of Michoacan and planned to travel to a beach in Zihuatanejo, on the Pacific coast, that was in the final scene of the film “The Shawshank Redemption,” according to friends and family.

“My son is a great communicator and he always lets me know — because I’m anxious — as close as he can where he’s going to be or if he’s going to be out of touch,” his mother, Ann Devert, told CNN Saturday.

Last week, Ann Devert contacted both the American and French embassies in Mexico. Her son, born in France, has dual citizenship.

In a statement Saturday, a U.S. State Department spokesperson confirmed that a U.S. citizen was reported missing near Morelia, Michoacan (MAP), but declined further comment “due to privacy considerations.”

“When a U.S. citizen is reported missing in Mexico, the U.S. Embassy or Consulate works with both the missing person’s family and Mexican and U.S. law enforcement agencies to locate the missing individual and return him or her to safety,” the statement said. “For missing person cases in Mexico, Mexican law enforcement institutions generally have jurisdiction and play the lead role in the conduct of investigations. We work closely with Mexican authorities to monitor such cases and seek progress as quickly as possible.”

UPDATE I: Fears grow for New Yorker who quit finance job to travel and has vanished in drug war-torn area in Mexico.

Fears are growing for an American who left a job in finance to motorbike through central and South America and has now vanished.

Harry Devert, 32, was last heard from two weeks ago when he texted his girlfriend on Whats App to say he was waiting for a military escort to travel through a dangerous area of Mexico.

He last messaged his girlfriend from the Michoacan state where vigilantes are battling the Knights Templar cartel.
