Country Singer’s New Restaurant in Virginia, ‘Toby Keith’s I Love This Bar and Grill’ Sparks Second Amendment Controversy … “No Guns Permitted”

 Second Amendment controversy erupts as  ’Toby Keith’s I Love This Bar and Grill’ does not permit guns in establishment. 

Once again we are presented with a situation that puts Americans on both side of the fence of the gun question. The country singer restaurant named after himself,  ‘Toby Keith’s I Love This Bar and Grill’ in Woodbridge, VA has plunged into said gun carry controversy.  The restaurant’s statement says, “It is our desire to provide a safe, enjoyable and entertaining experience for our patrons and staff.”  Obviously, that is not a true statement because those who have carry permits and want to frequent this bar and grill do not feel safe or entertained.  How does one provide a safe environment when only the bad guys would bring guns into the establishment, because as we all know, bad guys, thieves, robbers, thugs and punks don’t follow abide by the law or signs that say, “No guns permitted”.

A new restaurant that recently opened in Woodbridge is sparking a Second Amendment controversy, especially online.

The restaurant named for country music star Toby Keith has posted a “No guns permitted” sign on its front door and gun rights supporters are blasting the restrictions on the chain’s Facebook page. Some comments accuse Keith, who doesn’t own the restaurant, of being anti-gun.

Virginia is a right to carry state, which means residents can openly carry a firearm without a license.

The Facebook page of Toby Keith’s I Love This Bar and Grill in Woodbridge posted on Saturday:

“While we understand and respect every person’s right to own and bear arms, we at Toby Keith’s I Love This Bar and Grill, with guidance from the State of Virginia and based on insurance regulations, have adopted a no weapons policy. It is our desire to provided a safe, enjoyable and entertaining experience for our patrons and staff.”

In the The United States, “We the People” have a US Constitution and a Second Amendment Right to bear Arms, shall not be infringed; however, private business owners also have a right to make certain guidelines for their places of business. Or do they? To read most of the comments from the anti-gun crowd show their ignorance and uninformed opinion of what is taking place. Virginia law specifically states that that an individual can carry a gun on to a premises that sells alcohol as long as the permit colder does not consume alcohol.  If they do, any person granted a concealed handgun permit who is under the influence of alcohol or illegal drugs while carrying such weapon in a public place shall be guilty of a Class 1 misdemeanor.

Let’s see what happens when the bad guys bring guns into this establishment and rob the place knowing that it is a soft target and a gun free zone.

Some thing to think about … Isn’t it interesting that a business can discriminate against law abiding, gun carrying, Second Amendment, state law protected Americans and tell them to leave or not serve them, yet if that same establishment discriminated against the patron based on their skin color, religion or sexual orientation, they would be fined, closed down and possibly arrested for violating their civil rights?

Of course in the end, you have the right to protest this place of business with you wallet and go all “Duck Dynasty” on them. Eventually places of business will learn to understand who their customer really is and not be consistently fall in line with liberal, knee-jerk political correctness.

24 Year Old Jamie Lynn Cross Missing Since 12/25/13 in Myrtle Beach, SC

24 year old Jamie Lynn Cross was reported missing on Christmas Day, December 25, 2013; however, has not been seen since December 23 in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina. Jamie Lynn Cross is the mother of two sons and is described as 5-foot 11-inches tall, weighs 240 pounds and was last seen driving a green Volkswagon.

He said Jamie Lynn Cross, 24, of Murrells Inlet was reported missing on Christmas Day, but was last seen on December 23rd.

Cross is a mother.  She’s described as having blue eyes and neon pink hair.  She was last seen leaving her Myrtle Beach home in her green Volkswagen around 5 p.m. the 23rd.  Her family expected her around 10 p.m. that night, but she has not been heard from since.

She has a tattoo on her forearm with the name of her oldest son, “Kevin Scott Campbell.”

Horry County Police confirm another missing Jamie Lynn Cross.

According to her sister, Jamie Lynn Cross was last seen on December 23rd. In a flyer provided by her sister, it states the 24 year old is missing from Myrtle Beach and was last seen leaving her home around 5pm in a green Volkswagen.

She was expected to return home around 10 p.m. but never did and has not been heard from since.

“I feel this must be taken seriously. This is not something common. She has disappeared and I am deeply concerned,” said her sister, Sarah Langlais.

Details: Jaime was last seen in the Carolina Forest area. 2 miles outside of myrtle beach going north towards Conway off of highway 501. Getting into the back seat of a green Volvo station wagon. Bomb Explosion at Train station in the Russian City of Volgograd Kills at Least 14 People … Terrorist Suicide Bomber Just 6 Weeks Ahead of Winter Olympics in Sochi

As reported at RIA Novosti, between 13 to 18 people have been killed and up to 40 injured as a bomb blast ripped through a train station Sunday in the Russian city of Volgograd .  Russia’s National Anti-Terror Committee are saying that preliminary information suggests the blast was caused by a female suicide bomber. This is the second bombing in Volgograd  in the past two months and comes less than six weeks ahead of the Winter Olympics in Sochi, located less than 620 miles away. In October, 2013 6 people were killed and 33 injured when a suspected female suicide bomber detonated explosives aboard a Russian bus.

Between 13 and 18 people were killed and up to 50 more were wounded, according to various estimates by Russian officials, by the blast near the metal detectors at the Volgograd-1 train station’s front entrance at 12:45 p.m. (8:45 a.m. GMT).

President Vladimir Putin ordered officials to take all necessary measures to help the victims of the blast.

An explosion at a train station in the Russian city of Volgograd killed at least 14 people, including one police officer, the Russian Investigative Committee said on its website Sunday.

The committee said 14 people had been killed and 40 people were injured.

A spokesman for the investigative committee said the bomber used the equivalent of 10 kilograms of TNT.

Video taken from an outside security camera shows a huge fireball inside what appears to be the main entrance followed by a steady trail of smoke coming out shattered windows.

12 Year Old Illegal Immigrant Arrested for Attempting to Smuggling 80 Pounds of Marijuana from Mexico into Texas … Just More DREAM’ers

Hmm, one would think that this story may want people to rethink amnesty. The US Border Patrol arrested six Mexicans, two adults, two 17-year-olds, a 16-year-old and the 12-year-old … all illegal immigrants attempting to smuggle marijuana into the United States. In all, they had 300 pounds of pot as the 12 year old mule boy was carrying the heaviest load at 80 pounds. All were returned to Mexico. It would appear that this would add credence to US Rep; Steve King’s assertion that more illegals are drug smugglers than valedictorians.

The U.S. Border Patrol earlier this month arrested a 12-year-old illegal immigrant smuggling 80 pounds of marijuana from Mexico into Texas, reigniting a debate over controversial comments made by a Republican congressman earlier this year about children’s involvement in the cross-border drug trade.

Rep. Steve King, an Iowa Republican who has called for a crackdown on illegal immigration, had said there were more young illegal immigrants smuggling drugs than there were ones who were valedictorians of their classes in U.S. high schools.

In the Texas incident earlier this month, Border Patrol agents arrested six Mexicans — two adults, two 17-year-olds, a 16-year-old and the 12-year-old — smuggling more than 300 pounds of marijuana.

“They were carrying the marijuana on their backs and when arrested it was discovered that the 12-year-old boy had the heaviest load at 80 pounds,” the Border Patrol said in a statement describing the arrest.

The adults and one of the 17-year-old children were held after the early December incident, but the others — including the 12-year-old — were returned to Mexico, the Border Patrol said.

All returned to Mexico, why didn’t Obama and the Democrats provide them amnesty? There was no mention if any of the illegals caught and arrested were “white” Hispanics.

Hundreds of Teens Trash Mall in Wild Flash Mob at Kings Plaza Shopping Center in Brooklyn, New York

Punk teens trash Kings Plaza Shopping Mall in Mill Basin in Brooklyn, New York as chaos incurs as security and police try to restore order. What is going on in our society that these kind of flash mobs causing violence, damage and disorder continue to occur? But then again we are told that no such thing as the “knockout game” exists, that is of course unless it is white on black crime. The American Thinker has a unique opinion on all of this chaos and violence that we are now at the mercy of the Visigoths and that they are on the loose and barbarians are running amok among us. Sources say the incident may have been sparked by a girl wearing a shirt with a picture and derogatory comment about another girl.

The problem then escalated on social media with the girls agreeing to meet up at the mall.

“They just started fighting, throwing stuff off balconies,” said Lequan Jackson, a Macy’s employee, “I was just like I hope they don’t come to my store.”

Lequan Jackson works at Macy’s and watched as security guards quickly notified police.

But it took several hours to clear out the mall and restore order.

A wild flash mob stormed and trashed a Brooklyn mall, causing so much chaos that the shopping center was forced to close during post-Christmas sales, sources said Friday.

More than 400 crazed teens — who mistakenly thought the rapper Fabolous would perform — erupted into brawls all over Kings Plaza Shopping Center in Mill Basin on Thursday at 5 p.m., sources said.

The troublemakers looted and ransacked several stores as panicked shoppers ran for the exits and clerks scrambled to pull down metal gates.

Some of the teens staged a game of “knockout” on the top floor — and one may have been carrying a gun, sources said.

Then in typical, look at my, bragging … they went to Facebook.

Some of the teens — who had planned the rowdy meet-up on social media — later took to Facebook to brag about it.

“[Kings Plaza] was on tilt today but n-ggas wasn’t catching me,” Ray Ray Sextana posted on Facebook.

Another teen, Mark Wallace, posted, “S–t was crazy at Kings Plaza. So the security started shutting down the mall and kicking all teens out but it was so much of us they couldn’t get control.”

He added,“F–ked up my middle finger tryna fight them bitch ass security guards.”
