CRACKER BARREL Reverses Decision to Pull Duck Dynasty Phil Robertson’s Merchandise After Getting Hammered by Calls, Tweets, Emails and Comments on Facebook … “We made a mistake, we listened to you, and we apologize.”
I love the smell of victory in the morning … it smells like Cracker Barrel eating cooking crow, or is that Uncle Hershel’s breakfast?
WE THE PEOPLE HAVE SPOKE AND CRACKER BARREL HAS REVERSED THEIR DECISION!!!
I’M BACK!!!
Cracker Barrel announced Sunday they have reversed a decision to remove select “Duck Dynasty” products of Phil Robertson’s from their restaurants after getting bombarded by DD’s loyal supporters. Don’t think you don’t have a voice America, because you do. In the end, Cracker Barrel knows damn well who butters their bread and it isn’t GLAAD. It was just Friday that Cracker Barrel had made the foolish, knee-jerk reaction to pull Phil Robertson’s merch. I guess they noticed all the negative comments on their Facebook page and a lack of folks ordering Uncle Hershel’s for breakfast.
KUDOS to all of you that expressed your opinion and told Cracker Barrel that they were hypocrites and you would voice your opinion with your wallets and purses. This PC crap will no longer be tolerated. It is about time the silent majority spoke up … let this only be the beginning.
As reported at Forbes, Oops, our bad … we made a mistake.
Cue a barrage of tweets, emails, and calls from Duck Dynasty fans to the powers that be at Cracker Barrel, not to mention threats of a boycott.
Now, a day later, the 625-outlet comfort food chain has capitulated and will resume selling Duck Dynasty products.

God’s Word teaches that homosexuality is a sin along with a host of other sins that define our nature. The only difference is that most realize it is wrong to act on our sinful feelings. Christians may feel like stealing … may feel like cheating … may feel like being sexually immoral … may feel like taking a life … may feel like being unkind BUT … they are required to use self-discipline and refrain from acting on those sinful desires.
However … when followers of Christ do have sinful thoughts … do cross that boundary and act on sinful feelings there should be GENUINE remorse along with related consequences. GENUINE remorse implies GENUINE repentance. This is where the forgiveness of a Loving God through his Begotten Son enters the picture.
Justifying ANY action that God’s Word has deemed sinful implies there is no GENUINE remorse … implies there is no GENUINE repentance and therefore … no forgiveness by God.
As my mother instructed my siblings and I … it is not what you say when attempting to get a point across … it is how you say it.
What Phil Robertson stated in the interview was the truth … it is what God’s Word says BUT it is not the entire story.
Phil missed the opportunity of sharing that all is not lost in regards to eternal salvation through sinful actions. He missed the opportunity of sharing that the forgiveness of sins through GENUINE repentance is a given. He missed the opportunity of sharing that the shed blood of Jesus Christ at Calvary covers it all.

John 3:16-17 – “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him.”
1 John 1:8-10 – “If we say that we have no sin, we are deceiving ourselves and the truth is not in us. IF WE CONFESS OUR SINS, HE IS FAITHFUL AND RIGHTEOUS TO FORGIVE US OUR SINS AND TO CLEANSE US FROM ALL UNRIGHTEOUSNESS. If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar and His word is not in us.”
Romans 3:23 – “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.”
1 Corinthians 6:9-11 – “Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. AND SUCH WERE SOME OF YOU. BUT YOU WERE WASHED, YOU WERE SANCTIFIED, YOU WERE JUSTIFIED IN THE NAME OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST AND BY THE SPIRIT OF GOD.”
This nation was founded on Christian principles where the majority believed in a set of values decreed by those principles.
The founders also knew about those that lived a life style of choices as set out for sins in the Christian scriptures.
The homosexual culture is by Christian values an abomination to society. Most Christians do not hate the person or persons living that life style, they feel sorry that such a person has made a poor choice. However, for the homosexuals to attack the moral values of the mainstream of society and threaten people and companies so they can promote their life style is insanity.
This may be a tipping point where the public will say to the homosexuals that you can practice what you want in your home, but don’t take your values outside and try to control the rest of us by ugly behavior.

In response to all the controversey about the statement by Phil Robertson, he did not judge anyone. He was just answearing a direct question. He was stating what scripture says.As for Jesse Jackson and i left out Reverand for a reason ,you speak with forked tougue.GODS WORDS ARE JUST WHAT HE SAYS!HE does not say not tolove the homosexual, what he is saying man with woman and woman with man.Ihave friends that are gay. I love them because they treat me good and are still gods children.Do I agree with their choice? It is not my life, it is theirs. You see Mr.Jackson it is not a racial issue nor is it a an issue to bash a white christion .If you are a true man of God you would have understood what he was saying.black or white or any other ethnic group, there is only one god, just one.he is for all races and people.Phil robertson is a true man of God!I also believe you were once, before you became caught up in the lime light. All I am saying is follow God not your publicity stunts. As forall homosexuals do not try to change scripture for your cause just read it.If so many are outraged by what Mr.Robertson stated then you must be uncomfortable with your situation.I am not trying to cause a dispute ,I am tired of all the whinning by the gay community and mr.jackson. Lets all ask God to forgive our thouhts, anger towards one another.Grace and peace,Diane allen
