AMERICA’S PUBLIC SCHOOLS HAS LOST THEIR COLLECTIVE MIND … THIS IS BEYOND INSANE!!!
A six year old Colorado school boy has been suspended from school for sexual harassment and had it placed on his permanent record for kissing the hand of another 6 year old girl. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!! The superintendent at School District RE-1 says Hunter’s record will remain within the district and that Hunter’s actions fit the school policy description of ‘sexual harassment.’ This superintendent needs not only to be suspended, but fired. How exactly can a 6 year old be suspended for something that they don’t even know what it is? Does anyone think Hunter knows what sex is or sexual harassment? Good grief, these kids are in school to learn and these fools don’t think that this should be more of a teaching moment than punishing him and giving him a scarlet letter? Do these educators understand what the word “INTENT” means? I guess this does not meet “Common Core”.
What happened to the country I grew up in? If this is considered sexual harassment or anything other than two 6 year olds being 6 year olds, then a certain 2nd grade girl who I went to elementary school who planted one on my lips under the piano in music class is in for some serious trouble 
.
A six-year-old boy kissed a classmate and got suspended for sexual harassment. Now his mom is fighting to get the incident removed from his school record.
“It was during class yeah,” Hunter said. “We were doing reading group. And I leaned over and kissed her on the hand. That’s what happened.”
For that, six-year-old Hunter is at home instead of at school.
“I did something wrong,” Hunter said. “They sent me to the office, fair and square. I feel sorry. I’m trying to be good at school.”
“She was fine with it; they are “boyfriend and girlfriend”, Hunter’s mother, Jennifer said. “The other children saw it and went to the music teacher. That was the day I had the meeting with the principal, where she first said sexual harassment. This is taking it to an extreme that doesn’t need to be met with a six-year-old. Now my son is asking questions; what is sex mommy? It should not ever be said, sex, in a sentence with a six-year-old.”
UPDATE I: ‘Sexual harassment’ wording dropped from 6-year-old’s school record.
So he still gets a “misconduct” blemish on his record. I guess its better than this these educators sending this child to prison and making him register for the sex predator’s list.
Cañon City Schools Superintendent Robin Gooldy released the following statement to ABC News: “The parents of the student and the principal met this morning. One of the outcomes of the conference was to change the category of the disciplinary offense from “sexual harassment” to “misconduct”. The student has returned to school.”

The parents of this school district should begin an examination of all the written policies and procedures for the district.
One that clearly needs clarification is the proper way to handle six year olds in a classroom. This teacher needs to get out of the primary classroom and try to teach middle school or go get a job in the commercial sector and leave teaching to those who have enough common sense to do the right job.
