Tucker Carlson Says Al Sharpton And Jesse Jackson Are “Hustlers And Pimps Who Make A Living Off Inflaming Racial Tensions” During Interview with Geraldo Rivera (VIDEO)
During an interview this morning on Fox & Friends – Weekend, Geraldo Rivera said that this is how politics tainted the legal process, raised expectations in the minority community and now has added to the racial divide when the verdict came back not guilty. Defense attorney Mark O’Mara said that if George Zimmerman was black, he never would have been charged with a crime. Rivera went on to say that not all tragedies are crimes. The original prosecutors, the original police chief and officers did not believe a crime was committed. Rivera said that this was race politics, the president gave the signal and then Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton stirred things up.
Classic pic as Tucker gives Alisyn the are you friggin kidding me look as Rivera says he holds Sharpton & Jackson in high esteem. Might be worthy of a caption contest.

However, the classic bit of Geraldo’s ramblings was when he said that he held in high regard Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton. The look on Tucker Carlon and Alisyn Camerota’s face was priceless. That’s when Tucker Carlson said that Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson were “Hustlers and Pimps who make a living off inflaming racial tensions”
“I don’t know how I feel about George Zimmerman,” Carlson said (watch video here). “But I am positive that people like Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton do not deserve to be called civil rights leaders. They are not. They are hustlers and pimps who make a living off inflaming racial tensions. They know nothing about this. They’re not residents of Florida. They don’t represent anybody, they’re not elected to anything, they don’t have constituencies. The only reason they’re allowed to do this is because we in the press enable them by calling them civil rights leaders. Why do we do that?”
Geraldo did not want to get into that debate, but conceded and made a powerful and honest comment … “you had 11 black kids killed last weekend in Chicago and 40 odd wounded. Where was the Reverend Sharpton? Where was the Reverend Jackson. That is the real civil rights crisis in urban American today. It is the gun violence run ramped. Black on black crime … What happens here is they went back to the old stereo-type black kid killed by cop, there is where the outrage is. And it is almost irresponsible …”
Actually, it is completely irresponsible.

President Barack Obama Calls Death of Trayvon Martin a Tragedy, Then Says, “We are a Nation of Laws, and a Jury has Spoken.”
THE DIVIDER IN CHIEF: President Obama says we are a nation of laws and the jury has spoken, yet then disregards the juries verdict that George Zimmerman used a gun in self defense.
President Barack Obama makes his first statement following the juries verdict of “NOT GUILTY” in the murder trial of George Zimmerman in the death of Trayvon Martin. Barack Obama called for calm reflection following the acquittal of George Zimmerman. Obama also went on to say, “we are a nation of laws, and a jury has spoken.” Hmm. Usually, those are only the laws that he wishes to enforce. Is such calls for calm a little too late as its difficult to put the genie back in the bottle. Obama’s call for calm, however, has already been inflamed by his previous comments when he decided to get involved in an investigation by making his comment,”that if he had a son, he would look like Trayvon.” Such comments further brought pressure to bear to prosecute George Zimmerman.
President Barack Obama called on Sunday for “calm reflection” following the acquittal of George Zimmerman in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin.
The president, in a statement, acknowledged an emotionally charged climate but concluded that “we are a nation of laws, and a jury has spoken.”
Obama called Martin’s death a tragedy for America.
“I know this case has elicited strong passions. And in the wake of the verdict, I know those passions may be running even higher,” he said.
“I now ask every American to respect the call for calm reflection from two parents who lost their young son. And as we do, we should ask ourselves if we’re doing all we can to widen the circle of compassion and understanding in our own communities.
“We should ask ourselves if we’re doing all we can to stem the tide of gun violence that claims too many lives across this country on a daily basis,” Obama said.
Obama said in closing his statement that Americans asking “ourselves, as individuals and as a society, how we can prevent future tragedies like this” is one way “to honor Trayvon Martin.”
However, just like Barack Obama wrongly interjected himself in this case by further dividing a country by taking sides when he stated, “if I had a son, he would look like Trayvon,” Obama also made some self-serving comments with regards to the acquittal of George Zimmerman. Obama called on the nation to honor Trayvon Martin by asking “ourselves if we’re doing all we can to stem the tide of gun violence.”
“We should ask ourselves if we’re doing all we can to stem the tide of gun violence that claims too many lives across this country on a daily basis. We should ask ourselves, as individuals and as a society, how we can prevent future tragedies like this. As citizens, that’s a job for all of us. That’s the way to honor Trayvon Martin.”
Really Mr. President, you are going to take this opportunity where the jury decided that the use of a gun for self-defense is gun violence? So much for respecting the juries verdict. So let’s get this correct, Barack Obama wants to honor Trayvon Martin with gun control? A note to President Obama, if you really cared about gun violence and wanted to compare what your son might look like if you had once, why don’t you look no further than the streets of inner city Chicago where blacks are killing blacks ever day and at record rates? Just this past July 4th, 34 people were shot. After all, Chicago is his home town, is it not?
The death of Trayvon Martin was a tragedy. Not just for his family, or for any one community, but for America. I know this case has elicited strong passions. And in the wake of the verdict, I know those passions may be running even higher. But we are a nation of laws, and a jury has spoken. I now ask every American to respect the call for calm reflection from two parents who lost their young son. And as we do, we should ask ourselves if we’re doing all we can to widen the circle of compassion and understanding in our own communities. We should ask ourselves if we’re doing all we can to stem the tide of gun violence that claims too many lives across this country on a daily basis. We should ask ourselves, as individuals and as a society, how we can prevent future tragedies like this. As citizens, that’s a job for all of us. That’s the way to honor Trayvon Martin
So according to Barack Obama, self-defense is gun violence. Maybe some one in the MSM might want to ask him that very question and if so, how does he claim we are a nation of laws if be does not believe in those laws? No we shall see if the Obama – Holder DOJ goes after George Zimmerman on federal civil rights charges under the pressure of the NAACP, Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson, after he has said, “we are a nation of laws and the jury has spoken”.

NAACP President Ben Jealous Wants the Obama/Holder Justice Department to Try George Zimmerman on Civil Rights Charges in Death of Trayvon Martin
Ben Jealous and the NAACP just won’t let it go … hey NAACP Don’t you realize your political pressure to try Zimmerman resulted in the failed trial? Now they want to try George Zimmerman on Civil Rights charges?
Following the “NOT GUILTY” verdict in the George Zimmerman murder trial where he was found not guilty on all charges, both second degree murder and homicide, the NAACP was quick to demand that the Barack Obama – Eric Holder Department of Justice try George Zimmerman on civil rights violations. HUH? Some folks will not let things be and respect the juries verdict, until they get their pound of flesh.
NAACP president Ben Jealous appeared this morning on CNN’s “State of the Union,” with Candy Crowley. Jealous stated that he has spoke to senior members of the U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder’s team at the Justice Department about pursuing federal civil rights charges against George Zimmerman. As if this tragic tale has not been politically exploited enough already? Do any of these race hustlers realize that it was most likely the political pressure that was forced upon law enforcement and the prosecutors that resulted in such a weak and pathetic case against George Zimmerman? Haven’t the so-called civil rights folks done enough? The case was reviewed by a fired former police chief and prosecutor who did not want to bring charges, because there was no there, there. But no, that was not good enough. The liberal MSM, namely MSNBC doctored 911 tapes and presented it as legitimate news in an effort to inflame public opinion and fan the flames of racism. Then, President Barack Obama ignorantly and foolishly interjected himself in a case that he knew nothing about that further divided a country when he stated, if he had a son, he would look like Trayvon” (VIDEO). Hasn’t the federal government done enough damage? They brought pressure to bear to force a prosecution that under Florida law had no way of winning as long as the jury followed the law and not their emotions.
Leaders at the nation’s oldest civil rights organization have spoken with senior members of U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder’s team at the Justice Department about pursuing federal civil rights charges against George Zimmerman, NAACP president Ben Jealous said Sunday, though Holder himself has noted the high bar for establishing a hate crime.
Speaking to chief political correspondent Candy Crowley on CNN’s “State of the Union,” Jealous said he hadn’t yet spoken with Holder himself, but that in conversations with Justice Department officials, he had pressed the federal government to continue investigating the death of unarmed teenager Trayvon Martin.
“We are glad what they began months back continues, which is a serious reviewing of everything that came out in this case, everything that was known before this case,” Jealous said.
Haven’t we just been though a trial that proved that the what George Zimmerman did was not a “hate crime,” but instead self defense? That is what the 6 female jury had decided when the acquitted Zimmerman. But the NAACP can not accept the jury verdict and wants the DOJ to file civil rights charges. However, for such charges to be done, a federal hate crime would have to be proved and that something that was reckless, and that a specif intent and “to do the crime with requisite state of mind.” Sorry, but that in no way exists here.
However, that does not stop the NAACP as seen at the Gateway Pundit with Ben Jealous and the NAACP’s tweets.
Attorney General Eric Holder now is in a position to either act responsibly and follow the law, or succumb to the pressures of the NAACP and pseudo-civil rights activists like the Rev. Jesse Jackson. Just curious, when is the NAACP, Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton going to address the issues of inner city black-on-black violence that goes on every day in America. But no, instead they exploit the case of a “white” Hispanic killing a black teen in self defense as their cause celeb.
The public pressure leaves Holder, the nation’s first African-American attorney general, facing a difficult decision on a controversial case that has grabbed the nation’s attention and sparked renewed debate about racial profiling.
In a statement from NAACP President Ben Jealous, the civil rights group said they were “not done demanding justice for Trayvon Martin.”
“The most fundamental of civil rights—the right to life—was violated the night George Zimmerman stalked and then took the life of Trayvon Martin. We ask that the Department of Justice file civil rights charges against Mr. Zimmerman for this egregious violation,” said the group in a petition unveiled Saturday night. “Please address the travesties of the tragic death of Trayvon Martin by acting today.”
What’s ironic in all of this that the real hate and speculated hate crimes are coming from the other side where pro-Trayvon Martin individuals are threatening George Zimmerman and wishing him dead. So what is the hate crime here? Oh, and we even have pampered, millionaire NFL football players from the NY Giants making such threats that it is only a matter of time before the hood catches up with him. Gee Victor Cruzm how gangsta of you.
I would have to say I agree with Jammie Wearing Fool, that if I were George Zimmerman’s shoes I’d have already cleared Customs on my way to exile.
