Former Auburn Basketball Star Korvotney Barber Missing Since 7/20/13 …Believed to have Drowned in Panama City Beach, FL

Korvotney Barber, one of the most highly decorated recruits in the history of Auburn basketball and former player, has been missing since 7 pm Saturday, July 20, 2013 in the waters off the coast of Panama City Beach, Florida directly behind the Boardwalk Beach Resort Condominiums on South Thomas Drive. He is believed to have drowned. According to reports, Barber went into the surf Saturday, July 20 around 7 p.m. with a group of family and friends and never came out.   Swimming was prohibited on Saturday due to hazardous conditions as there were double red flags flying on the beach which was a signal for individuals not to swim in the water. The search for Barber’s body was suspended on Sunday due to bad weather.

Barber went missing in the water Saturday at 7 p.m. near the area of Pineapple Willy’s and has not yet been spotted, according to information provided Sunday afternoon by Lt. William Bruhmuller of the Panama City Beach police.

The search for Barber was suspended Sunday afternoon due to bad weather, according to WALA-TV. The search is expected to resume when the weather conditions improve.

Basketball coach Tony Barbee tweeted late Sunday afternoon that it’s “believed” Barber drowned Saturday night.

4 Dead and 9 Wounded in Chicago Shootings During Night Following the Trayvon Martin Rally … What is the Real Issue that Plagues Young Blacks

To borrow a line from ‘A Few Good Men’ … “You can’t handle the truth”.

Yesterday, Chicago like many other cities across the United States had rallies for Trayvon Martin and made efforts to pressure the DOJ to bring Civil Rights charges against neighborhood watch volunteer George Zimmerman, the man who was found not guilty in the murder and manslaughter of Martin. However, that did not stop black leaders, politicians and so-called civil rights activists into attempting to made George Zimmerman public enemy #1 to the black community and to change stand your ground laws, of which were not even a part of the Zimmerman  defense.

However, the night following the Trayvon Martin rally in Chicago, 4 were killed and 9 wounded in shooting. This follows the pattern of every night in Chicago as blacks are gunned down, usually by other blacks. Where are their rallies? During the George Zimmerman murder trial where all the focus was on the death of Trayvon Martin, in Chicago alone, 61 individuals were murdered. Yet none of the black leaders want to address that issue. Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson cannot blame racism on this carnage. When will black America and Barack Obama address the real issue that is the greatest threats to black teens, black on black crime? If Obama was a true leader he would use is power and influence to deal with the real threat to blacks, not conveniently exploit the Trayvon Martin death for political purposes and cause further unrest.

Shootings left at least four men dead and 9 other people wounded across the Saturday night and Sunday morning.

The violence was largely confined to the South and West Sides and three of the incidents had more than one victim, according to authorities.

The most recent shooting happened about 4:01 a.m. in the Cabrini-Green neighborhood – just north of Chicago Avenue on Cambridge Avenue. Two men, one 25 and the other either 23 or 24, were shot and taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital. The older of the two was dropped off there and died of his wounds, and the other was taken there in an ambulance with a wound to the leg.

According to data available on the Chicago Tribune’s RedEye website, 52 of those killed were black, 43 were black males, and seven were children under the age of 18. The vast majority died of gunshot wounds.

UPDATE I: 6 dead, 23 wounded in shootings since Friday night … but the civil rights activists, Democrat politicians, Leftists and President Barack Obama would have you believe that racism is the biggest issue for blacks and stand your ground laws. Wait a minute, doesn’t Chicago have some of the toughest gun laws in the country? How can there be changes to “stand your ground” laws and guns like in the case of George Zimmerman and Trayvon Martin if guns are illegal?

Even Unions are Now Against Obamacare … Due to Its ‘Destructive Consequences’

Just how bad is Obamacare, even the unions are turning against it as they realize the “destructive consequences” of Barack Obama’s signature piece of legislation as president. Unions are learning that  Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act is not only not that affordable, it basically does not insure individuals. This is what happens when you blindly follow some one and their agenda without having a clue as to what is written into the law, or the law of unintended or intended circumstance.

The laborers union has added to organized labor’s drumbeat of dissatisfaction with the Affordable Care Act.

In a letter sent to President Barack  Obama on Thursday, Laborers International Union of North America President Terry O’Sullivan wrote that the law has “destructive consequences” for the types of health plans that cover millions of unionized construction workers and their family members.

The letter follows a separate one written last week by the heads of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters, the United Food and Commercial Workers and Unite Here, expressing similar concerns to Congress’s top Democrats, Sen. Harry Reid and Rep. Nancy Pelosi. The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers took out print ads raising alarms about the law last week as well.

Mr. O’Sullivan concluded: “Approximately 3 million laborers, retirees, and their families now face the very real prospect of losing their health benefits. This, I must remind you, was something that you promised would not happen.”

Obamacare is literally unraveling before our very eyes and it could not happen to a worse law. Just a week ago, Barack Obama stated that the employer mandate would be delayed until 2015, even though he did not have the Constitutional authority to do so. The House then voted this week to delay the employee and individual mandate for a year.   Just recently, HHS came out and stated that Obamacare does not guarantee that you can keep your doctor, even though President Barack Obama made a promise to the America people that you could when he was promoting the boondoggle.

The more and more the “We the People” learn was its in Obamacare and is damaging affects, the more the polls go negative. In a recent FOX poll, 66% of Americans are worried about their healthcare under Obamacare. Another poll finds that Obamacare is already a job killer.

Sharptonite Protesters Cheer Reverend Al Sharpton and Jeer Fox News & Geraldo Rivera at Trayvon Martin Rally in Harlem, NY … Is Geraldo a “White” Hispanic As Well?

The Double Standard of the Mob … Hmm, would appear the Trayvon Martin protesters think Geraldo Rivera is a “white” Hispanic as well. 

During the Trayvon Martin rally in Harlem, NY yesterday, the crowd was all vocal with their “no justice, no peace” parroting the rebel rousing lines of the Rev. Al Sharpton until they noticed that FOX News’ Geraldo Rivera was in attendance as well. Individuals in the crowd started yelling, “Geraldo, what are you doing here,”  “Fox get out” and “send them outta here”. Hmm, talk about your irony and double standard among those that claim to be honoring Trayvon Martin.

Let me see if I understand this. Isn’t the outrage from those that claim there was no justice for Trayvon when a jury came back with a verdict of “not guilty” in the George Zimmerman murder trial that Trayvon Marin was profiled and had every right to be where he was and was minding his own business? Doesn’t Geraldo have a right to be at a protest and it would seem that he was a guest of Al Sharpton and had no camera crew there, he was just an attendee. Rather duplicitous by the mob, don’t you think? But then again, only Kool-aid drinking folks are allowed at such gatherings. I guess the Al Sharpton crowd just can’t handle the truth and are bitter at Rivera’s comments that Al Sharpton and race politics drove this case and the murder charges against George Zimmerman. I guess the Sharpton crowd thinks that Geraldo Rivera is a “creepy ass cracker” as well.

(He had no cameraman and seemed to be observing the proceedings as a guest.) When a handful of protesters directly behind me spotted Rivera, they began to complain loudly, repeatedly shouting, “Get Fox out!” and “What are you doing here?” and describing the network as “disgusting” (and another, less decorous term). The anti-Fox crowd was sufficiently vocal to compel Sharpton’s attention from the podium; he quieted them down by saying, “Don’t get distracted, let’s focus on what we’re doing now.”

EXIT QUESTION: I wonder how many people at this rally and chanting “no justice, no peace” actually watched the trial, were aware of the evidence presented and understand the law of self defense.

SECOND EXIT QUESTION: Why are none of the protesters concerned about the 61 murders that took place in Chicago during the time that the George Zimmerman murder trail was taking place?

Three Bodies Found Wrapped in Plastic Bags in East Cleveland, OH … Suspect Arrested … (Michael Madison) is a Registered Sex Offender & Served Time in Prison

Three bodies have been found wrapped in plastic bags in a Cleveland suburb of East Cleveland, Ohio. One woman’s body was found Friday in a garage and two other bodies were found Saturday,  one in a backyard and the other in the basement of a vacant house. The bodies have been sent to the coroners office for identification.  According to authorities, all three people are believed to have been killed in the last six to 10 days. A a 35 year old man was arrested and is a suspect in all three deaths. He is also a registered sex offender and has previously served time in prison. What a shocker. The search continues to determine whether there are more bodies.

Registered Sex Offender Michael Madison arrested

Three bodies have been found wrapped in plastic bags in a Cleveland suburb and police will continue a search for possibly more victims Sunday, East Cleveland Mayor Gary Norton said.

The bodies were found about 100 to 200 yards apart and a 35-year-old man was arrested and is a suspect in all three deaths, although he has not yet been charged, Norton said late Saturday.

The suspect is a registered sex offender and has served prison time, the mayor said. In police interviews, the man led them to believe he might have been influenced by convicted serial killer Anthony Sowell, Norton said in an interview with The Associated Press.

“He said some things that led us to believe that in some way, shape, or form, Sowell might be an influence,” the mayor said.

UPDATE I: East Cleveland Mayor Gary Norton told the AP that the suspect might have been influenced by serial killer Anthony Sowell, who was sentenced to death in 2011 for killing 11 women and then hiding their remains around his Cleveland home.

UPDATE II: Identification of the bodies found. According to East Cleveland Mayor Gary Norton, all of the victims appear to be black woman.

Norton said each woman was black. They were wrapped in four or five plastic bags. It is estimated all were killed within the last 10 days. He said identifications have not been made and the cause of death has not been determined in any instance.

The first woman was found in a carport Friday morning near the corner of Hayden and Shaw avenues. Norton described the woman as 5’3, 110 pounds.

The other two women were found Saturday afternoon.

One was discovered in a lot heavy with weeds about 150 feet from the carport. The mayor said that woman had a tattoo of a pink flower with green leaves on her left thigh.

The third woman was found in the basement of a home on East 139th Street, adjacent to the weedy lot. The house is vacant. Norton said it appeared the woman may have been thrown through a window into the basement.

The third woman was wearing a purple top, with a leopard pattern.

UPDATE III: Michael Madison arrested after a body was found in East Cleveland; two more bodies were found Saturday. Madison has a criminal history dating back to 1999.

The FOX 8 I-Team has learned that court records from East Cleveland Municipal Court and Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court show 35-year-old Michael Madison has had numerous run-ins with the law, dating back to 1999.

His most serious came in 2001, when he was arrested by East Cleveland police and then indicted on charges of attempted rape, gross sexual imposition, and kidnapping with a sexual motivation specification. He ended up striking a plea deal in February of 2002 and plead guilty to the one charge of attempted rape. He was sentenced to four years in prison.
