George Zimmerman Murder Trial Alternate Juror E54 Interview … “I Supported the Verdict”

Juror E54, an alternate juror who did not deliberate and come up with the jury verdict of “not guilty” in the George Zimmerman murder trial in death of Trayvon Martin was interviewed with Fox News Orlando., FL affiliate. The juror stated that he was proud of the female jurors for coming up with the verdict they did. He was proud of them for looking at all the evidence and coming up with the verdict they did.

FOX 35′s Valerie Boey had an opportunity to interview one of the four alternate jurors in the George Zimmerman murder trial.

“I supported the verdict,” said Juror E54.  “I agree with it.”

As a condition of the interview, E54 asked that we not reveal his face or use his name.

He expressed disappointment that he was not one of the six people who ultimately had a chance to discuss all of the evidence in the case and decide on a verdict.   Zimmerman was acquitted of second-degree murder in the shooting death of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin.

“I think the things that I focused on when I was doing my own deliberation was the non-emergency phone call. I did pick up on some things out of Rachel Jeantel’s testimony, Trayvon Martin’s phone records or her phone records and when they were talking,” he said.
