NAACP Norfolk, Va. President Tristan Breaux Asked to Step Down Because He Dare Asked Blacks to Think Logically, not Racially

The following is just unreal and speaks volumes of the divide in this country. How dare anyone in the black community think logically, rather than racially.

NAACP Norfolk, Va. President Tristan Breaux is being asked to step down because he dare ask the question to black America to think logically, not racially. UNREAL. Such requests cause blacks Americans to ask for his resignation. I guess it’s a good thing none of those folks were on the jury.

“My initial reaction was that it wasn’t true, that somebody had gone on his Facebook and had planted this,” Riddick said. “I just couldn’t imagine the president of the Norfolk branch of the NAACP making a statement like that.”

“I wonder why it is that we are always willing to say someone who clearly had a shaky past, was the victim,” Breaux asked in the Facebook post, referring to Trayvon Martin.

“I think this should be tried in the courtroom and not on social media,” said former Norfolk NAACP President Bob Rawls.

Rawls says he is worried how the statement reflects on fellow members.

“If he had been talking to another person or two or three people and voiced his personal opinion that’s different,” Rawls added. “When you put it on social media so somebody in Florida, California, Oregon or New York is reading, this, that is wrong.”

The post went on to ask if people are blinded to why Trayvon was staying with his dad and why he wasn’t at home at at time of the shooting.

Here is the offensive remarks that are so terrible that they want Tristan Breaux to step down. Wow, I mean they are just so mean spirited and vile. How dare he ask black Americans to think logically, not racially. C’mon man, don’t you know that the rest of America is as “creepy ass crackers”?

With all due respect, my fellow Christian brothers and sisters:

Norfolk, VA, NAACP President, Tristan Breaux, is correct to hold Trayvon accountable for his guilt, but I (a far-right Conservative) go one step further: I hold ALL THREE parties responsible for Travon’s death: See my most recent Facebook ‘note’ for proof of that: https://www.facebook.com/notes/gordon-wayne-watts/george-zimmerman-vs-trayvon-martin-a-fair-analysis-of-the-facts/10151498660140248

Huh?! All three? Yes, Zimmerman and Martin both had a right to be where they were -and “Stand their ground” — but a “third” party (the criminal or criminals, plural) who terrorized the neighborhood did NOT have a right to be there — and yet, their actions put Zimmerman in fear–and ultimately resulted in him following Trayvon — This frightened Trayvon Martin (and Zimmerman probably did not identify himself as a security officer) — Thus, while Zimmerman was not breaking the law, he was acting morally wrong –against God — A better person would have politely identified himself as a security officer — Martin was also wrong in over-reacting –and fighting Zimmerman — Zimmerman probably used excessive force — but, since he did not know that his life or health was not in danger, this over-reaction was small — The “main” guilty party was the 3rd one — the one no one has held accountable. (Again, see my note for a good discussion on this.)

Tristan spoke the truth, and if the NAACP opposes him, they (you!) oppose truth -and bring discredit and dishonour to their organisation. Truly off-centre and bizarre — Tristian did not say that Zimmerman was totally or 100% innocent — and neither am I — so, why all the fuss about a ‘truth teller” named Tristan Breaux? Don’t oppose truth -or in so doing, thou shalt oppose Jesus.
