BENGHAZI-GATE … The Whistle-Blowers Edition:
As reported by FOX News, the names of the three “whistle-blowers” who will testify next Wednesday at a Congressional Committee on the Benghazi massacre are Mark Thompson, Gregory Hicks and Eric Nordstrum. White House spokesperson Jay Carney may think that Benghazi happened a long time ago; however, these “whistle-blowers” are about to make the Benghazi White House cover up a very current problem. From the Blaze comes the following people who will be testifying; Gregory Hicks, deputy chief of mission at the U.S. Embassy in Libya at the time of the September assault; Mark Thompson, former Marine and deputy coordinator for operations at the State Department’s Counterterrorism Bureau; and Eric Nordstrom, the former top security officer in Libya. Nordstrum also testified in front of the House Oversight committee back in October (VIDEO), saying staff at the US consulate in Benghazi lacked sufficient protection; however, Thompson and Hicks have yet to speak publically.
Think about this in its totality. The PJ Tatler brings up a very interesting point. How damning do you think these individuals testimony is if the White House was willing to threaten them with the end of their careers if they testified, you can be sure they will have something interesting to add to what we know about the attack. A terror attack blamed on a video tape by the Obama Administration where four Americans were murdered as no one came to their aid.
Their identities have been a well-guarded secret, known only to their high-powered lawyers and a handful of House lawmakers and staff. But now Fox News has learned the names of the self-described Benghazi “whistleblowers” who are set to testify before a widely anticipated congressional hearing on Wednesday.
Appearing before the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee will be three career State Department officials: Gregory N. Hicks, the deputy chief of mission at the U.S. Embassy in Libya at the time of the Benghazi terrorist attacks; Mark I. Thompson, a former Marine and now the deputy coordinator for Operations in the agency’s Counterterrorism Bureau; and Eric Nordstrom, a diplomatic security officer who was the regional security officer in Libya, the top security officer in the country in the months leading up to the attacks.

Last week, Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-SC) promised “explosive” Benghazi hearings were coming and said, “direct testimony by eyewitnesses is always the most compelling.” There has been much talk between the House Republicans and the Obama White House that these three men and other have been prevented by the White House to tell their stories of their knowledge of what occurred that night. Many that were there fear of retaliation of losing their job if they testify. This could have devastating effects on Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton’s future run for President.
These individuals are true patriots for coming forward and setting America straight on what happened, even though the Obama White House and their propaganda machine, the MSM, will do everything in their power to slander them, call them liars and undermine their credibility. As the Jawa Report opines, Most likely leftist and Bronco Bama’s MFM are working hard to destroy the credibility of these patriots before the hearing even starts.

A U.S. security officer twice asked his State Department superiors for more security agents for the American mission in Benghazi months before an attack that killed the U.S. ambassador to Libya and three other Americans, but he got no response.
The officer, Eric Nordstrom, who was based in Tripoli until about two months before the September attack, said a State Department official, Charlene Lamb, wanted to keep the number of U.S. security personnel in Benghazi “artificially low,” according to a memo summarizing his comments to a congressional committee that was obtained by Reuters.
Nordstrom also argued for more U.S. security in Libya by citing a chronology of over 200 security incidents there from militia gunfights to bomb attacks between June 2011 and July 2012. Forty-eight of the incidents were in Benghazi. ….

U.S. Security Official in Libya Tells Congressional Investigators About ‘Inappropriately Low’ Security at Benghazi Post
ABC News has learned that Eric Nordstrom, the former Regional Security Officer at the U.S. Embassy in Libya, has told congressional investigators that security at the U.S. diplomatic post in Benghazi, Libya, was “inappropriately low” – and believed that State Department officials stood in the way of his attempts to change that.
Nordstrom twice wrote to the State Department – in March and July 2012 — to beef up the presence of American security officers in Benghazi, but neither time was there a response. At no point from December 2011 through July 2012, when he left Libya, were more than three Diplomatic Security Service agents permanently and simultaneously stationed at the Benghazi post. …

Victoria Toensing, a former Justice Department official and Republican counsel to the Senate Intelligence Committee, is now representing one of the State Department employees. She told Fox News her client and some of the others, who consider themselves whistle-blowers, have been threatened by unnamed Obama administration officials.
“I’m not talking generally, I’m talking specifically about Benghazi – that people have been threatened,” Toensing said in an interview Monday. “And not just the State Department. People have been threatened at the CIA.”

Chaffetz: State Department officials fear ‘retaliation’ on Benghazi, more will talk

Utah Republican Rep. Jason Chaffetz suggested Sunday that potential witnesses to the 2012 Benghazi terror attacks are being intimidated by the State Department but they will come forward after so-called “whistle-blowers” testify this week before Congress.
“I think these people are afraid of retaliation, afraid of what the State Department will do to them,” Chaffetz, a member of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, told “Fox News Sunday.”
Chaffetz’s remarks came one day after the committee announced three witnesses for its hearing Wednesday on the Sept. 11, 2012, fatal attacks on a U.S. outpost in Benghazi, Libya.

On the night of Sept. 11, as the Obama administration scrambled to respond to the Benghazi terror attacks, then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and a key aide effectively tried to cut the department’s own counterterrorism bureau out of the chain of reporting and decision-making, according to a “whistle-blower” witness from that bureau who will soon testify to the charge before Congress, Fox News has learned.

(CBS News) WASHINGTON – Former GOP presidential candidate Michele Bachmann and four other conservative members of Congress are charging that people with ties to Muslim extremists have infiltrated the federal government.
Huma Abedin, a longtime aide to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, has been singled out
Bachmann, from Minnesota, and the four other representatives sent letters to top intelligence and security officials last week warning that the Muslim Brotherhood, a global religious Islamic movement whose members have been linked to terrorist groups in the past, may have infiltrated the top levels of U.S. government.
They pointed the finger first at Abedin, who is deputy chief of staff to Secretary Clinton and has been one of her closest aides for nearly two decades. Abedin, who was born in the U.S. and is of Pakistani descent, has been described by both Hillary and former President Bill Clinton as a daughter.
But Bachmann and the others wrote, “Huma Abedin has three family members — her late father, her mother and her brother — connected to Muslim Brotherhood operatives and/or organizations.” …
In a statement, Bachmann did not back down, saying she would “not be silent as this administration appeases our enemies” and saying she wants a full investigation into the Muslim Brotherhood.
