Kenilworth Junior High School in Petaluma, CA Bans ‘Too Tight’ Pants for Girls Because it Distracts Boys
OK, more insanity from California … Is this a double standard, wrong message, or both?
The Kenilworth Junior High School in Petaluma, California has made a change in their dress code and has banned “too tight” pants for girls. The school administrator claims that it is too distracting for the boys. WOW, talk about your war on woman school girl and one-sided dress code. Let me first start by saying that all parents might want to check out what their kids are wearing before they head off to school. That being said, how is it that they are now passing such a dress code change this far into a school year? Two, the school is banning “to tight” pants on girls because it is distracting to boys, really? One has to wonder how they are not teaching the boys to be a bit more respectful of girls, no matter what they are wearing. It is almost as if the school is perpetuating the notion that the girl is asking for it because of what she is wearing. Some parents stated that it sends the wrong message to the young girls. Ya think?
A controversy at a Petaluma junior high school over a new dress code restriction on the kinds of pants girls can wear has upset students and parents.
At Kenilworth Junior High in Petaluma, a school administrator pulled all the girls aside Thursday afternoon and told them they couldn’t wear pants that were “too tight” because it distracts the boys.
Instead of heading to their last class Thursday, all the female students reported to the multi-use room and when they found out what it was about there was quite an uproar.
“It takes away like half of my clothes because I have a lot of yoga pants and leggings, so everyone’s kind of like mad about it,” said Makenna Mattei, a student.
“We didn’t think it was fair how we have all these restrictions on our clothing while boys didn’t have to sit through it at all,” said Brittany Kruljack, another student.
What exactly is the definition of “too tight”? Who exactly will be the arbitrator of such a rule? How exactly is such a rule written? Hello adults, have you seen the fashions that exist for young girls today? All of them pretty much out there to fit a girl’s body, otherwise they are called sweat pants. Maybe the school administrators would prefer the girls wear burkas?
Just curious, what happens when the boys wear “too tight” pants? What about the transgender students?
One last comment, speaking from the male perspective … why is there such an issue now for boys that they cannot control themselves, haven’t girls been a distraction to boys since Adam and Eve? Just saying.

Charles Krauthammer Tells FOX Special Report Panel that President Barack Obama Has Lost the Main Gun Control Battle and “All He Wants Now is the Money.”
File this one under, why is everyone so shocked, surprised and quiet … Obama has always been about the “money” and the “issue,” not solving any problems.
Syndicated columnist Charles Krauthammer rendered his fellow Fox News panelists on ‘Special Report’ momentarily speechless after he said that President Barack Obama had lost the main gun control battle and “all he wants now is the money”. Just curious, what did Krauthammer say that was so shocking? Has even Fox News become that liberal? I mean we all know Chris Wallace is a lib, but why wouldn’t the other panelists believe Obama was just in it for the money? For a socialist, he does like the $’s that are brought in on issues rather than actually solving America’s problems.
From The Blaze:
“All he wants now is the money,” Krauthammer said to several seconds of total silence.
“You don’t really mean that,” host Chris Wallace finally broke in.
“He’s lost on gun control,” Krauthammer insisted, saying that even if the bill includes expanded background checks — the “last item standing” — it’s “not going to make any difference.”
“Knowing all that, he is out there now exploring it as an issue. He is not going to get the solution he wanted, so he’ll make an issue. And that’s the way he operates. He does it on immigration. He does it on a lot of stuff. If you can’t win on a solution or get your way, you turn it into cash. He is excellent at turning stuff into cash.”
The fact of the matter is that no one should be shocked at what Obama does anymore.

Saddleback Church Pastor Rick Warren’s 27 Year Old Son, Matthew Warren, Has Passed Away … Commits Suicide, RIP
27 year old Matthew Warren, the youngest son of Saddlebrook Church pastor and the author of ‘The Purpose Driven Life’, Rick Warren, has passed away from an apparent suicide. In a statement from the Saddleback Church, “Matthew was an incredibly kind, gentle and compassionate young man whose sweet spirit was encouragement and comfort to many.” However, it appears Mathew struggled with extreme mental illness and depression. The statement went on to say that, “Unfortunately, he also suffered from mental illness resulting in deep depression and suicidal thoughts.” Sadly, Matthew Warren succumbed to his demons and took his life. According to police, Matthew Warren was found dead of what appeared to be suicide by gunshot in his home in Mission Viejo, CA. An autopsy is scheduled for this coming Tuesday.
Matthew Warren … Rest in Peace
The youngest son of Rick Warren, author of “The Purpose Driven Life,” has committed suicide, the evangelical pastor said in a letter to members of his church on Saturday.
Matthew Warren, the youngest son of Warren and his wife Kay, died after a long struggle with mental illness, according to the statement from Saddleback Valley Community Church in Lake Forest, Calif. The church asked for “everyone to join us in praying for the entire Warren family” on Saturday.
“At 27 years of age, Matthew was an incredibly kind, gentle and compassionate young man whose sweet spirit was encouragement and comfort to many,” Saddleback Church said in the statement. “Unfortunately, he also suffered from mental illness resulting in deep depression and suicidal thoughts.”
Pastor Rick Warren wrote about his son’s death in an emotional letter to his church:
“No words can express the anguished grief we feel right now.” He had a brilliant intellect and a gift for sensing who was most in pain or most uncomfortable in a room. He’d then make a bee-line to that person to engage and encourage them.”
“In spite of America’s best doctors, meds, counselors, and prayers for healing, the torture of mental illness never subsided.” Today, after a fun evening together with Kay and me, in a momentary wave of despair at his home, he took his life.”
As reported at CBS News, Pastor Rick Waren recalled his son’s past struggles with mental illness and depression.
“I’ll never forget how, many years ago, after another approach had failed to give relief, Matthew said `Dad, I know I’m going to heaven. Why can’t I just die and end this pain?”‘ Warren recalled.
Despite that, he said, his son lived for another decade, during which he often reached out to help others.
“You who watched Matthew grow up knew he was an incredibly kind, gentle, and compassionate man,” Warren wrote. “He had a brilliant intellect and a gift for sensing who was most in pain or most uncomfortable in a room. He’d then make a bee-line to that person to engage and encourage them.”
Family of Trayvon Martin’s Reportedly Settles Wrongful Death Claim Against Subdivision’s Homeowners Association Where Geroge Zimmerman was Neighborhood Watch Volunteer
Settlement with the home owners association in wrongful death claim in death of Trayvone Martin.
As reported at the LA Times, the family of Trayvon Martin has reached a settlement in the wrongful death civil suit of their son with the subdivision’s homeowners association. Trayvon Martin was killed by George Zimmerman, a Neighborhood Watch volunteer at the Retreat at Twin Lakes townhomes in Sanford on Feb. 26, 2012. Zimmerman has been charged with second degree murder, meanwhile he is claiming self defense. According to the Orlando Sentinel, the settlement amount is believed to be worth more than $1 million. The settlement paperwork filed at the Seminole County Courthouse, a portion of which was made public Friday, had the settlement amount blacked out and the parties agreed to keep the amount confidential. In the settlement, the home owners association did not admit any wrongdoing or liability and Trayvon’s parents, Sybrina Fulton and Tracy Martin, and his estate agreed to set aside their wrongful-death claim and claims for pain and suffering, loss of earnings and expenses.
The family of Trayvon Martin, the teen who was shot dead by a Neighborhood Watch volunteer last year in an Orlando, Fla., suburb, appears to have settled a civil suit claiming wrongful death against the subdivision’s homeowners association.
Citing Seminole County court records, the Orlando Sentinel reported on Friday that the settlement could total $1 million or more. A few pages of the document were made available to the public, but the amount of the settlement was blacked out. The agreement stipulated that those involved would keep the dollar amount private.
As part of the settlement, the homeowners association acknowledged no wrongdoing.
According to the Sentinel, the association took out a $1-million insurance policy a few weeks after the shooting. A receptionist at the office of homeowners association attorney Thomas R. Slaten Jr. said he would not answer questions.
The attorney for Trayvon Martin’s family, Benjamin Crump, stated that they intend to file a separate suit later against George Zimmerman. The settlement with the HOA spelled out that Zimmerman was not part of this deal.
