Photos of Before and After Bomb Blast at Boston Marathon

Pictures sent to News 7, WHDH in Boston provide an amazing before and after view of the events that took place in Boston, Massachusetts on Boylston Street during the Boston Marathon bombing. The  image was released of the bag placed on the sidewalk before the bomb blast on Monday, Patriots Day, at the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Doug Ross has more pics of the suspicious package. The photos have been given to the FBI for further investigation.

7News has provided these pictures to the FBI as they continue their investigation. They are looking at the pictures to see if it’s possible it could be the second bomb.

In the first picture you can see a bag next to a mailbox and up against a barricade along the marathon route. In the second, which we have blurred because it is very graphic, there is no sign of the bag. The viewer who took the pictures says there may be an hour or more between when the first and second pictures were taken.

Letter Addressed to the Office of Sen. Roger Wicker (R-MS) Tests Positive for the Poison Ricin

An envelope addressed to the office of US Senator Roger Wicker (R-MS) tested positive for the poison Ricin.  Preliminary tests indicate the substance found was Ricin; however, the letter and envelop were sent to an accredited lab for further tests. Ricin tests can give false positives. The U.S. Senate mail facility is currently closed for precautions and more testing. The letter was postmarked Memphis, TN  and had no suspicious markings or return address. One would think after 9-11, any letter to a politician without a return address would just be destroyed? Senator Claire McCaskill (D-MO) stated that a suspect has been identified and came from an individual who frequently writes to lawmakers. She did not identify the person but confirmed officials were investigating someone.

An envelope sent to the Washington, D.C., office of Sen. Roger Wicker (R-Miss.) included a substance that has tested positive for the toxic substance ricin.

The Senate mail facility on Tuesday notified the U.S. Capitol Police that it had received an envelope containing “a white granular substance,” according to a release. The envelope “was immediately quarantined” at the off-site facility, and Capitol Police hazardous material personnel responded.

“Preliminary tests indicate the substance found was Ricin,” said the police statement, which was released late Tuesday night. “The material is being forwarded to an accredited laboratory for further analysis.”

RICIN SENT TO REPUBLICAN LAW MAKER

The Lonely Conservative brings up a good point on the double standard of today’s liberal media. Does anyone thing that if a Ricin laced letter was sent to a Democrat that we would not be hearing about the Far right boogyman and the Tea Party? Of course we would. But since it’s just a Republican, they will only report the story, not speculate and go into bias journalism.

Former VT Gov & DNC Chair Howard Dean Threatens To Leave Democratic Party Over Obama’s Budget

The bloom is off the Obama rose now that Democrats do not have to support him for another presidential run …

Former Vermont governor, Democrat presidential candidate and DNC Chair Howard Dean has threatened to leave the Democrat party over Barack Obama’s proposed budget. Dean stated, “I just think that’s unacceptable. If this passed I would have to reevaluate if I belong in the Democratic Party. If this were passed with Democratic votes, I think it would be impossible to be Democrat.” Does Obama’s budget have a chance of passing and getting Democrat votes, Dean does not think so. Folks on the LEFT are calling this Dean’s Obama scream. If Howie leaves the Democrat party, there is always the socialist party for him to turn to.

Howard Dean has had it with President Obama’s budget proposal, saying the plan put forward by the White House might just drive him from the Democratic Party he once led as DNC chair.

On Sunday night, Dean tweeted that the restoration of some defense sequestration cuts contained in Obama’s budget proposal were a step too far when coupled with the president’s entitlement cut proposal that progressives like Dean are already livid about.

“If this is true I may have to become an independant [sic],” Dean wrote, before linking to an April 10 article by Bloomberg BusinessWeek’s Josh Green.

NewBusters asks, Will the media notice this story? Whether they wish to or not, there is a civil war a brewing in the Democrat party.

Jordan Islamist Leader Praises Boston Marathon Bombing … “Happy to See the Horror in America” after the Explosions in Boston, MA

Don’t ever forget this America … as you grieve, as you try and rationalize what happened yesterday at the Boston Marathon as innocent people were killed, inured, had arms and legs blown off by two bomb explosions. As you are saddened by the events and wonder how such a thing could happen … other are relishing in the blood spilled. Stop trying to rationalize terrorism and people who just hate us because we are not them. Sadly, as Weasel Zippers states, this is an opinion that is held by much of the Muslim world. At some point, Muslims and Muslim leaders in this country are going to have to come forward and stand with America, the country they live in and against terrorism and radical Islam … instead of worrying out any backlash against them.

AMMAN, Jordan (AP) — The head of an extremist Jordanian Muslim Salafi group says he’s “happy to see the horror in America” after the explosions in Boston.

“American blood isn’t more precious than Muslim blood,” said Mohammad al-Chalabi, who was convicted in an al-Qaeda-linked plot to attack US and other Western diplomatic missions in Jordan in 2003.

“Let the Americans feel the pain we endured by their armies occupying Iraq and Afghanistan and killing our people there,” he said early Tuesday
