Barack Obama Says: “There Is No Debt Crisis” … “We Don’t Have an Immediate Crisis” Actually We Have a $16.6 Trillion Debt

The United States has a $16.6 trillion debt and counting and Barack Obama thinks we do not have a debt crisis …

How out of touch and dangerous is President Barack Obama for America?  During an interview with ABC News Obama acted said that there was no debt crisis. Obama’s exact comment was, “we don’t have an immediate crisis in terms of debt. In fact, for the next 10 years, it’s going to be in a sustainable place.” Really Mr. President … the present national debt is $16.6 trillion and counting by the second. The US is well on their way to being Greece under this president and Obama sits back and spends more.  If this is how Obama actually thinks, how on earth could there ever be any real deal between the GOP and Democrats on real reduction of spending, entitlement programs and social security? The Obama comment is just so absolutely insane and in such direct polar opposite to the GOP that in my opinion the Republicans should never concede or meet in the middle on the issue. This is the wrong president to make any real tax reform, social security reform or entitlement reform with. Obama just is not serious.

Watch the above  ABC News interview and the completely out of touch president Obama … He has no intention of balancing budget & blames the Secret Service for ending WH tours

We had already previously reported that during the interview that Barack Obama had no intention of balancing the budget. America, that is code for spend, spend, spend.

As Real Clear Politics stated, In Reality, Debt Matters. It Matters a Lot.

That’s a pretty convenient position, wouldn’t you say, for a man who’s helped pile on trillions of dollars of new debt and created an entitlement that promises to escalate this non-crisis crisis of ours? Problem is that there are a few trillion things wrong with this contention.

Right now, we’re spending more money to pay interest on debt than we’ll spend on education, homeland security, transportation and veterans’ benefits combined this year. Surely, there’s something better to spend that money on. And those interest payments are a significant tax on Americans — a debt tax that Washington doesn’t want to talk about. And just wait until interest rates rise, because at some point they will.

UPDATE I: Obama meets with House Republicans with the charm offensive, make that the “smarm” offensive and downplays ‘immediate’ debt crisis.

His statement would be sharply at odds with a core Republican principle that the debt must be addressed soon — and which underpinned the cost-cutting GOP budget released Tuesday. The president also acknowledged, in an interview aired earlier in the day, that differences with the GOP might be “too wide” to bridge.

Still, the president made the rare visit with House Republicans on Capitol Hill as part of what some are calling his charm offensive. The president is making a renewed effort to meet with Republican leaders and rank-and-file lawmakers amid overlapping budget battles and a series of deadlines on the horizon.

Two thirds of that debt is caused by Obama and the Democrats in congress. He never ran anything and always lived off the sweat and money of others. He is using the Alinsky model to destroy the system.

When Obama ran for his first term he gave a good speech (his teleprompter was working), we were tired of the Iraq war, the media railroaded him down our throats, and Americans were too, too eager to prove that we could elect a black man into the WH.

It was pretty much a done deal IMO.

I doubt he won his second term without the help of some ballot rigging, but that’s just my opinion.
