Google Gets Religion as it Shamefully Honors Left-Wing Labor Leader Cesar Chavez on Easter

Really GOOGLE, this is truly shameful …

As over a billion Christians celebrate Easter and the resurrection of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior … GOOGLE in their infinite wisdom took the opportunity to celebrate the day to honor Cesar Chavez’s birthday. So GOOGLE does not honor Easter with a pic of Jesus or heck, how about even an Easter bunny or basket. Nope, instead they insult Christians everywhere and honor with its ‘Doodle’ search logo art to mark the birth of left-wing labor leader, Cesar Chavez. This is a new low, even for the Left.

The timing is oddly appropriate; as Dennis Prager has written, “You cannot understand the Left if you do not understand that leftism is a religion,” and one with its own sources of mythology. Back in 2006 at Tech Central Station, Lee Harris described French Marxist Georges Sorel (1847-1922), and the concept of the Sorelian Myth:

Barack Obama Booed at NCAA Elite 8 Game in Washington, DC Between Syracuse and Marquette

Just curious … what are exactly the cut backs for Obama due to sequestration, actually doing work for the American people?

President Barack Obama was booed when his mug was displayed on the huge screen at the Verizon Center in Washington, D.C. during the NCAA Elite 8 game between Syracuse and Marquette. A little more than have the crowd booed while some cheered after they realized the Bracketologist in Chief was being dissed. Rather interesting that Obama was booed in of all places DC. So why so many boos, other than the obvious failed job as president? Maybe because his final 4 picks, No. 1 seeds Louisville and Indiana, No. 2 seed Ohio State and No. 3 seed Florida are in deep trouble except for the obvious pick of Louisville. Indiana and Ohio St have already lost, the Gators are presently losing 25-15 to Michigan. Or Maybe they booed, because if you watch the following VIDEO, Obama seems to put more effort in his NCAA College basketball picks that he does the US budget, job growth, debt reduction or unemployment. Or maybe it is because Obama has closed the White House tours from “We the People” citing Secret Service sequester cutbacks, yet he has no trouble making sure there is enough in the budget for Obama to attend a tournament game, play golf or have his kids go on multiple spring break vacations.

One would have expected a friendlier crowd for the President, but there are still several possible explanations for the boos. Obama and his White House team had supported Georgetown (Syracuse’s rival) in the past, and the President had forecast Indiana (who was eliminated by Syracuse) to win the East Regional and go on to win the national title, for example.  Or, perhaps they booed because POTUS had gone to the game with Secret Service agents while the White House remains closed to tours.

It was quite a busy day for Obama as he did none of the work of the American people, NOT! First  playing golf with his buds and then attending the NCAA Elite tournament game. What he do later that night, play on-line games with Pelosi and Reid?

Just in case some of you think that the above video is false, Twitter exploded when Obama was booed yesterday. Mark Packer, the Host of College Sports Today on SiriusXM tweeted the following. Also, CBS tweets as well that Obama was met with jeers and cheers.

President Barack Obama Back on the Golf Course … Take First Post Sequestration Round of Golf on Easter Weekend

Neither rain, nor snow, nor high unemployment, nor record number of Americans on food stamps, nor putting brave Americans in harms way of war, nor sequestration will prevent Barack Obama from playing golf.

In yet one more example of sequestration for thee, not for me, President Barack Obama was back on the links playing golf.  President Obama went golfing Saturday afternoon with friend and Chicago businessman Marty Nesbitt and White House staffers Michael Brush and Marvin Nicholson.  Despite forcing others to sacrifice, forcing some to lose their jobs and be furloughed, Obama is business as usual playing golf. White House Press Secretary Jay Carney was recently asked whether President Obama was going to cut back on his lavish vacations and golf outings. Carney dodged the question of course, I guess we know why. The answer is of course no … cut backs or only for others, not for Obama.

President Obama went back to the links Saturday for the first time in a month, in spite of calls by Republicans to stop playing golf due to the government’s automatic budget cuts.

Mr. Obama played his 115th round of golf as president at Joint Base Andrews, a military base in suburban Maryland, taking a motorcade from the White House to the course. It’s the first time he’s played golf since the budget cuts took effect March 1.

The president’s foursome included longtime friend Marty Nesbit, and White House aides Marvin Nicholson and Michael Brush.

In February, Mr. Obama played a round of golf with Tiger Woods at an exclusive resort in Florida, but hasn’t been golfing at Andrews since December.

The White House continues to be closed to tours to America’s children, but the golf courses remain open to Barack Obama.

Happy Easter 2013 from Scared Monkeys … HE IS RISEN, TRULY, HE IS RISEN!

Scared Monkeys Wishes Everyone a very Happy and Blessed Easter.

Never forget that Easter represents the greatest story of  “Hope & Change” ever in history. True hope is divine and comes from above, not from man. As  stated in John 3:16, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” Without the Crucifixion, there would have never  been a Resurrection. And a Resurrection that represents eternal rebirth, hope and change.

Luke 24:1-6

On the first day of the week, very early in the morning, the women took the spices they had prepared and went to the tomb. They found the stone rolled away from the tomb, but when they entered, they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. While they were wondering about this, suddenly two men in clothes that gleamed like lightning stood beside them. In their fright the women bowed down with their faces to the ground, but the men said to them, “Why do you look for the living among the dead? He is not here; he has risen!

JESUS CHRIST Is Risen Today – Alleluia! – EASTER HYMN

Christ the Lord is risen today, Alleluia! Earth and heaven in chorus say, Alleluia! Raise your joys and triumphs high, Alleluia! Sing, ye heavens, and earth reply, Alleluia!

Love’s redeeming work is done, Alleluia! Fought the fight, the battle won, Alleluia! Death in vain forbids him rise, Alleluia! Christ has opened paradise, Alleluia!

Lives again our glorious King, Alleluia! Where, O death, is now thy sting? Alleluia! Once he died our souls to save, Alleluia! Where’s thy victory, boasting grave? Alleluia!

Soar we now where Christ has led, Alleluia! Following our exalted Head, Alleluia! Made like him, like him we rise, Alleluia! Ours the cross, the grave, the skies, Alleluia!

Hail the Lord of earth and heaven, Alleluia! Praise to thee by both be given, Alleluia! Thee we greet triumphant now, Alleluia! Hail the Resurrection, thou, Alleluia!

King of glory, soul of bliss, Alleluia! Everlasting life is this, Alleluia! Thee to know, thy power to prove, Alleluia! Thus to sing, and thus to love, Alleluia!

Above All – Michael W.  Smith

Crucified, laid behind a stone

You lived to die rejected and alone

Like a rose trampled on the ground

You took the fall and thought of me

Above all

Michael W. Smith sings in his song, ‘Here I am to Worship’ … “I will never know just how much it cost, to see my sin upon that cross”.

Pope Francis used his first Easter Sunday address to call for peace in the world and to change hatred into love, delivered in Italian from the central balcony of St. Peter’s Basilica.

Dear brothers and sisters in Rome and throughout the world, Happy Easter! Happy Easter!

What a joy it is for me to announce this message: Christ is risen! I would like it to go out to every house and every family, especially where the suffering is greatest, in hospitals, in prisons.

Most of all, I would like it to enter every heart, for it is there that God wants to sow this Good News: Jesus is risen, there is hope for you, you are no longer in the power of sin, of evil! Love has triumphed, mercy has been victorious! The mercy of God always triumphs!

We too, like the women who were Jesus’ disciples, who went to the tomb and found it empty, may wonder what this event means (cf. Lk 24:4). What does it mean that Jesus is risen? It means that the love of God is stronger than evil and death itself; it means that the love of God can transform our lives and let those desert places in our hearts bloom. The love God can do this!
