Teddy Turner Jr. Blames “Hanoi Jane’’ Fonda For Maing his Dad a Crazy, Moonbat Liberal … Junior is Running for Congress in South Carolina
Ted Turner Jr. told the Steve Malzberg on Newsmax TV’s “The Steve Malzberg Show”that it was “Hanoi Jane’’ Fonda who transformer his father, Ted Turner, from a conservative to a bleeding-heart liberal. Who could not have seen that coming. When you lie with liberal dogs, you get liberal fleas. Turner Jr. claims that he grew up in a conservative home. Turner’s 180 must have been one of the greatest transformations ever. However, when you have “Hanoi” Jane as your wife, what would one expect? Ted Turner Jr. is running as a conservative for Congress in South Carolina for the House seat being vacated by Tim Scott, who today was appointed to fill the remainder of Jim DeMint’s Senate term. Turner will be running in the GOP primary against disgraced former South Carolina Gov. Mark Sanford. Ted Turner Jr. stated, “I’m not a liberal … People say how did you separate from your dad? I didn’t separate from my dad. My dad separated from me.’’

Ted Turner was transformed from a staunch conservative into a bleeding-heart liberal by none other than one-time wife Jane Fonda, according to the media mogul’s outspoken son. But when the senior Turner moved to the left and then expressed an interest in running for president, Fonda deep-sixed the idea by saying she’d dump him, Teddy Turner told Steve Malzberg on Newsmax TV’s “The Steve Malzberg Show.’’ “I was raised in a different time at the Turner household … a very conservative household with capitalism and all of that kind of stuff,’’ Turner said. But in 1991, when the senior Turner wed the Oscar-winning actress and exercise guru — once labeled “Hanoi Jane’’ for her controversial support of the North Vietnamese — things changed dramatically.
