Check out the following comment from the Democrats when it comes to woman protecting themselves from rapists and attackers. I want you to keep one person in mind, failed GOP Senate candidate Todd Akin who made an ignorant comment when it came to woman and rape with “legitimate rape”. The Left and the media beat him over the political head with his comments and into submission and a Senate loss in Missouri in 2012. Now comes the following from the Democrats and Colorado Democrat Rep. Joe Salazar . As reported at Red State, while Salazar arguing for the disarmament of college students, Salazar says that even if women feel like they’re going to be raped, they may not, so who needs a firearm for protection? What on earth are these people thinking? Where is the outrage from woman over this comment? However, the difference between Akin and Salazar is the latter is a Democrat and the liberal double standard will allow Salazar to make a later apology and tell everyone he was misquoted.
“It’s why we have call boxes, it’s why we have safe zones, it’s why we have the whistles. Because you just don’t know who you’re gonna be shooting at. And you don’t know if you feel like you’re gonna be raped, or if you feel like someone’s been following you around or if you feel like you’re in trouble when you may actually not be, that you pop out that gun and you pop … pop around at somebody.”
Wow, where to start? From Dana Loesch Twitter, ”Because women are hysterical little things who just shoot indiscriminately, according to Dem Rep. Joe Salazar”. How condescending could this Democrat male politician possible be and insensitive to the “REAL” attacks and rapes of women? It’s bad enough that Salazar was so flip in saying that women don’t need guns, they have whistles and call boxes to protect them. Really? Does anyone think that a call box or whistle is going to stop a rapist, or some one with a gun? But what was more damning was Salazar’s comment that women can’t understand when they are being raped … “that women don’t know when we’re going to be raped, that [women] can’t recognize when there’s an inherent danger?” WOW!!!

UPDATE II: That did not take long for this fool to apologize. Just like when Todd Akin apologized for his ignorant “legitimate rape” comment, we will take the same approach as the Left and the MSM did … APOLOGY NOT ACCEPTED! Salazar apologizes “IF” he offended anyone. IF?
First-year state Rep. Joe Salazar is apologizing for a statement during Friday’s debate over a concealed weapons ban on college campuses that has drawn the ire of conservatives across the blogosphere.
In arguing in favor of the ban, Salazar, D-Thornton, said that women on college campuses don’t need guns to feel that they’re safe.

When the people elect fools such as these to a position in a state legislature they have no one to blame but themselves. Of course the fools are careful to hide their foolishness so that the public has to work to find the truth.
This guy needs to go home and never hold another elected office in his life.
Call boxes are a sop to the public to make them think the foolish ones are taking care of things.
Salazar just ended his career.

Guns in the hands of students will lead to more student deaths anyway you justify it or parse it. A local cemetery was a favorite suicide spot for medical students at finals time for off campus students. Will Colorado’s campuses sound like Chicago’s south side at finals? ….. and we all know how careful college aged kids are with alcohol and drugs …
Ask your college aged kids if they know any kids with schizophrenia . I pray you never receive a forwarded “shooter on campus” message.
