One does not have to be a rocket ship scientist to see that Comacho was at the wrong place at the wrong time. His friend was a known drug dealer and someone wanted him out the way to take over his turf. Therefore he was killed and Comacho being present in the vehicle also had to go no witnesses could be left to tell a tale.
