Remains Found of 49 Year Old Linda Losacano in Wesley Chapel … Missing Since April 14, 2012
The sad but not unexpected conclusion in the case of missing Linda Losacano.
The skeletal remains were found last week in a wooded area by hunters has been identified as that of 49 year old Linda Losacano in Wesley Chapel, FL. She had been missing since April 14, 2012. Although the case still remains open, authorities most likely know who is responsible for Losacano’s death. However, the prime suspect is dead. Losacano’s long time boyfriend, Timothy Arnold, is still their lead suspect. However, Arnold committed suicide the day Losacano’s family reported her missing. Arnold barricaded himself inside their Wesley Chapel home on the night of May 6, 2012 with his 5 year old daughter. . SWAT was able to rescue the little girl, but Timothy Arnold killed himself with a self-inflicted gun shot. Authorities are still trying to determine Linda Losacano;s cause of death.
Despite the discovery, Pasco County Sheriff Chris Nocco said the case is far from closed.
“We can confirm that we have her,” he said. “She’ll be given a proper burial, but at the same time we don’t know how she died.”
Investigators said they may know who killed her. Losacano’s long-term boyfriend, Timothy Arnold, is still their lead suspect. Arnold committed suicide the day Losacano’s family reported her missing.
Arnold barricaded himself inside their Wesley Chapel home on the night of May 6 along with the couple’s 5-year-old daughter. A SWAT team was able to get the girl out, but a few hours later, they found Arnold dead of a self-inflicted gunshot wound inside the home.
That day, investigators combed the property in search for evidence that might lead them to Losacano.
