Boeing Announces Big Layoffs in Defense Division After 2012 Presidential Election … UNREAL

Isn’t this rather curious and convenient for President Brack Obama? Boeing announces massive layoffs  in their Defense Division. No collusion here now is there. It was mere coincidence that Boeing would announce such a massive layoff after the 2012 election  so not to adversely affect Obama’s chances of reelection. Unbelievable. The Lonely Conservative also shows her disgust in Boeing’s announcement. More evidense that it was just one big plan on Obama’s part to keep info from the voters prior to the election.

Boeing announced a major restructuring of its defense division on Wednesday that will cut 30 percent of management jobs from 2010 levels, close facilities in California and consolidate several business units to cut costs.

Boeing, the Pentagon’s second-largest supplier, said the changes were the latest step in an affordability drive that has already reduced the company’s costs by $2.2 billion since 2010, according to the memo.

The measures come as U.S. weapons makers are under pressure to cut costs and preserve profit margins amid dwindling defense spending in the U.S.

In a message to employees, Dennis Muilenburg, chief executive of Boeing Defense, Space & Security, said the company aimed to cut costs by an additional $1.6 billion from 2013 through 2015.

What benefit would Boeing have in helping the person who is promising to cut funding get elected?

Hey, great ! Any country in this world which has the chance to cut back on defence spending must take the opportunity. I mean it is no coincidence, if the guy from the crazy Moron Sect had got in, then of course they would have needed to keep those people employed to prepare for nuking Iran. However thankfully world war 3 has been postponed for another 4 years and those guys may need to be redeployed hopefully within Boeing. Ryanair for instance is really taking off and should be ordering a whole load of new planes for peaceful purposes which face it is a much nicer job for these people.

Just another hidden trick that the Democrats have pulled. It would be interesting to find out exactly what happened. We know that Obama told those in the defense industry that they would be given a pass on issuing the 60 day layoff notices beacuse they would under law have to be sent a week prior to the election.

When we have crooks and thugs (Democratic Party) running the government, this is the typical behavior.

As long as those that get government handouts have the right to vote, we will see this type of government. When the people realize that they can vote for handouts, the government as our founders set up is doomed.

The country moved a lot closer to the cliff on tuesday.

Yes, or even over the cliff.

To me, the true pity is… the people who voted for the girl bicycle riding turkey ass know nothing – will suffer the most! – even with the free handouts.

…and if locked all in the same room with one another, the freaks that now call themselves Democrats, would finish each other off. Truth be known, one sect cannot stand the other cannot stand the other! In another time – it would be funny. I think ‘funny’ might be put on hold for a bit. Perhaps mildly amusing will be the new funny?

“I mean it is no coincidence, if the guy from the crazy Moron Sect had got in, then of course they would have needed to keep those people employed to prepare for nuking Iran.”

Mally, are you serious? Would you prefer to have Iran nuke Israel in a first strike?

And, by the way, we were always ready to nuke the Soviet Union during the Cold War, but it didn’t happened. Being in a superior position to the Soviets helped JFK convince Kruschev that it would be wiser to stand down.

History has shown there are really, really bad people and nations out there.

Take Hitler, for example. British Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain signed a treaty with Hitler, hoping that it would prevent a larger war in Europe before the s**t hit the fan. Less than a year later, Hitler broke the treaty which plunged the world in a second world war.

If we decide to cut back on defense to show a more peaceful posture, it will NOT guarantee other nations will follow our lead.

It is always better to negotiate from a position of strength than one of weakness.

If you do not understand this simple concept, this is an indictment of our current educational system and it helps explain how Obama won his re-election.
