Newt Gingrich Says There is a Rumor that Two Major Networks Are Holding Emails From White House Canceling Plans to Assist Benghazi Heroes on 9-11

This could be big if it is released before the Presidential election and if true. However, it would surprise no one.

Last night Newt Gingrich told Greta Van Susteren that there is a rumors he heard from a “credible” Senator that two major news networks have emails proving the Barack Obama White House canceled plans to assist US personnel on the ground in Benghazi on 9-11-12.

From The Daily Caller:On Tuesday night’s “On the Record with Greta Van Susteren” on the Fox News Channel, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich said that major news networks might have secret emails proving that the White House canceled plans to assist the besieged U.S. consulate in Benghazi.

Gingrich said that the bombshell emails could be revealed within the next two days.

“There is a rumor — I want to be clear, it’s a rumor — that at least two networks have emails from the National Security Adviser’s office telling a counterterrorism group to stand down,” Gingrich said. “But they were a group in real-time trying to mobilize marines and C-130s and the fighter aircraft, and they were told explicitly by the White House stand down and do nothing. This is not a terrorist action. If that is true, and I’ve been told this by a fairly reliable U.S. senator, if that is true and comes out, I think it raises enormous questions about the president’s role, and Tom Donilon, the National Security Adviser’s role, the Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta, who has taken it on his own shoulders, that he said don’t go. And that is, I think, very dubious, given that the president said he had instructions they are supposed to do everything they could to secure American personnel.”

Hmmmm, we all know how rough the GOP is on classified material leaks, better call Issa. Somebody leaked, and helped the enemy better understand how we will repond in case of attack. Far more serious than F&F. Start with a supoena for Newt. This is a national security breach for political purposes, the worst kind!

SM: in the real world, knee jerk reactions kill people, I don’t know what Obama did or didn’t do yet.I’ll admit that, You won’t
Moon Base Newt also said of Romney, “He lives in a world of Swiss bank and Cayman Island bank accounts.”
When asked if he said that,Gingrich responded: “I did. And I’m perfectly happy to say that on an interview on some TV show.
Now you beleive Newt? But not what he said in the debate?

SM: Actually we need to look no further than Benghazi to see that no reaction kills people. Do you really want to go there? Had Obama made a decision to help, 4 brave Americans could be alive today.

The knee-jerk reaction of Tyrone Woods who defied the order to stand down actually saved 30 people’s lives. That little fact gets lost in all of the Benghazi-gate scandal, Woods and his fellow Seal are heroes. They saved lives otherwise Obama would have the blood of 30 dead on his hands rather than 4.

Intelligence officials have disclosed a new detailed timeline of the attack on the American consulate in Benghazi, acknowledging the CIA played a greater role in responding to the attack than has previously been disclosed. A senior U.S. intelligence official also insisted that the CIA security team that initially responded to the attack was not given orders “to stand down in providing support,” as had been suggested in media reportshttp://news.yahoo.com/detailed-account-benghazi-attack-notes-cias-quick-response-020906325–abc-news-politics.html

SM: And you believe that the President had no idea what was going on? They all knew it was terrorism and after the 4 Americans were dead they trotted out the pathetic story of blaming a video to protect Obama’s ass.

This is the problem with Obama’s presidency … he never separated the campaign from leadership. Sorry, but I would say this no matter who the president was, but we have Obama apologists who defend his self-serving decisions at all cost. Shameful.
