The Lying Kings … Team Obama Acknowledges Knowing Joe Soptic’s Romney Killed My Wife from Cancer Story
LIAR, LIAR, PANTS ON FIRE …
Oh what a tangled web they weave, when Team Obama practices to deceive. It would appear that the reelection Obama camp has been caught in a bold face lie regarding any knowledge of Joe Soptic, the steelworker who is at the forefront of a factual wrong and disgusting smear ad attempting to link Mitt Romney to his wife’s death from cancer.
Obama campaign spokeswoman Jen Psaki acknowledged Thursday that the campaign was no longer pleading ignorance about the story of a man who has appeared in both a super PAC ad and a campaign ad.
“No one is denying he was in one of our campaign ads. He was on a conference call telling his story,” Psaki told reporters on Air Force One.
Adviser Robert Gibbs said he didn’t know “specifics,” while deputy campaign manager Stephanie Cutter said on CNN: “I don’t know the facts about when Mr. Soptic’s wife got sick or the facts about his health insurance.”
More from the Politico and a response from the Mitt Romney camp.
Amanda Henneberg, a spokesperson for the Romney campaign, said this in a statement: “President Obama’s campaign has been caught lying about its knowledge concerning a vicious smear run by his Super PAC. And now, they have doubled down with another dishonorable and dishonest attack. In 2008, candidate Obama said ‘you make a big election about small things’ when you don’t have a record to run on. Since President Obama can’t run on record unemployment, falling incomes, and massive debt, he has decided to run a dirty campaign that is an affront to everything he claims to stand for.”
The real question is how does President Barack Obama not denounce this political, hatchet attack ad? It is one of the most reprehensible ads ever made that is so factually incorrect that it is nothing more than slander. However, with the close links between the Super PAC ad and one from Obama’s reelection team and the conference call, it is hard to believe that the Super PAC and Obama did not collude with the Joe Soptic story. American Power connects the dots and only a naive, Kool-aid drinking Obamaite would not draw the conclusion that there was communication between the Super PAC and Team Obama.
Even more from Investors Business Daily: Obama’s Campaign of Lies Reaches Despicable Low. So America, you think Obama is a nice guy eh, he looks more like a typical politicians doing anything at all cost to smear his opponent and save his job because he cannot run on his record. WAKE UP AMERICA!!! This should be the defining moment of the reelection as you are being presented with what Barack Obama and his minions are all about. They are not interested in helping to create jobs for John Q. Public, they are only interested in saving their own.
