VIVE LA FRANCE … Nothing says July 4th, American Independence Day like a fundraiser in Paris. Then again, you are not Barack Obama. For the Obama campaign that has had more fundraisers than any President ever, whats a trip to “Gai Paree”. Although Obama will be in the USA during this fundraiser, he is not that ignorant to attend such an event on the 4ht, it just does not smell right. However, I guess it beats Obama charging you $1000 a plate for a hot dog, hamburg and potato salad at a 4th of July picnic. Or Obama begging for cash saying that he will cook burgers for cash.

Apparently tiring of US soil as a source of campaign dollars, the Obama campaign is headed overseas — with its celebrity friends in tow. The European Obama campaign starts next week in Paris on July 4 with a reception organized by various fundraising heavy-hitters. Independence Day fundraisers in Paris – now that’s a flag-waving campaign.
The Obama campaign will host events in Geneva, Switzerland in August as part of their “European outreach effort.” George Clooney will headline a fundraiser there, with 150 tickets going for $20,000 per piece. There’s even more to the bargain: if you go as a couple, the second ticket is half-off!
Maybe the Obama campaign can actually attract crowds in France where Obama still polls well Internationally, see that France just voted socialist.
From the Hollywood Reporter, In time for summer break, Obama’s campaign extends its fundraising efforts with the Oscar-winning actor in Switzerland and expats in France. The Obama campaign says let them eat cake, take a look at the cost of the tickets.
George Clooney has signed on for another special guest appearance as the Barack Obama re-election campaign takes its summer fundraising tour across the Atlantic in pursuit of Euro-cash.
Charles Adams, co-president of the campaign’s European outreach effort, told the newspaper Tribune de Geneve that Clooney will address a crowd of about 150 at an evening reception, which will be followed by a more intimate — and expensive — dinner at which the star will be the guest of honor. Tickets for the latter event will go for $20,000 for singles and $30,000 for couples.

The American taxpayer is paying for this trip to raise election funds out of the country. Does this mean he is running for president of the world?
This should be illegal and aught to be an impeachable offense.
Just curious, but are you also upset about the Romney fundraisers in Europe? He has another one scheduled for July in London for $25,000-$75,000 per plate (and, unlike Obama, Romney will be attending in person).

Wake up and smell the Coffee! Barack Obama just had a fundraiser here in Boston for $40,000 per plate.
Meanwhile, his pal Deval “Cadillac” Patrick is facing the highest inflation and unemployment numbers this State has had since the 1970′s. Gas here is still over $3.50 per gallon, and our MEDICAL COSTS, are some of the absolute highest in the Country.
So, thanks to the Obamamessiah in Office, we shall see even more increases in this State which is known for some of the best Medical Facilties in the World. Repeat WORLD.

Newsflash-Mitt Romney was Governor here and he not only did a good job, he was well liked.

No one said Obama was going to be in Paris. The Obama campaign fundraiser is in Paris on July 4th. Obama is supposed to be at Camp David. Even Obama is not brash enough to do a fund raiser on American Independence Day.

If you’re interested, Romney’s upcoming London fundraiser is scheduled to be hosted by Bob Diamond, who was forced to resign yesterday as head of Barclay’s Bank in the wake of an interest-rate manipulation scandal. But, by all means, let’s just ignore the facts and instead make fun of Obama for having a European fundraiser hosted by an actor.

First, both candidates are looking overseas. Interesting to note that doing a search on overseas funding efforts (“US political overseas fundraising”) brings up titles naming both parties or Romney … Obama is missing in the headlines, although Clooney show up a lot in the headers)
Looking at the articles, it is (reporte) clearly that the fundraising efforts are directed at US citizens living abroad. It is also clear that it is illegal to take campaign contributions from overseas.
Nows, if you believe it is that simple, I can do nothing more than pray for you.
Spend more time investigating and using your brain reading between the lines!
