Search Continues for Missing Hollywood Exec Gavin Smith … Detectives & SWAT Search Home in the San Fernando Valley
57 year old 20th Century Fox executive Gavin Smith has been missing since May 1, 2012 in Los Angeles, CA county. Gavin Smith was last seen between 9 p.m. and 10 p.m. Tuesday leaving a friend’s house in Oak Park, CA. The search for Gavin Smith took detectives to a home in the San Fernando Valley belonging to a family of four on a quiet cul-de-sac. According to reports, they didn’t seem to leave with anything.
The search for missing Hollywood executive Gavin Smith took a twist today as detectives searched the home of a family in the San Fernando Valley in connection to his disappearance.
Smith, a 57-year-old father and husband who worked in film distribution in Hollywood, went missing on May 2 from the house of a female friend around 10 p.m.
Today’s search of a house in the San Fernando Valley began around 7:30 a.m. as authorities served a search warrant on the home.
According to the LA Times, the family was ordered out of the house by SWAT as detectives
The neighbor, who identified herself only as “Merma” when contacted by The Times, lives in the 8600 block of Santa Susana Place, a cul-de-sac where at least two SWAT cars arrived Friday morning.
She said L.A. County sheriff’s deputies arrived on her block around 7:50 a.m. and “called out on the loudspeaker for the owners to come out.”
She said a family — including a husband, wife and two girls — lives in the home and “the wife and her two daughters” eventually emerged from the home when deputies served a search warrant. She said the search ended around 9 a.m.
“They didn’t seem to leave with anything,” the neighbor said of the deputies.
What’s in a Number … Junior Alexander Guy Get’s George Zimmerman’s Old Cell Phone Number and Death Threats
As Steely Dan sang, ‘Rickki Don’t Lose that Number’ … unless it’s George Zimmerman’s old one.
What’s in a number? Don’t ask that to 49 year old Junior Alexander Guy who bought his first cell phone last month in Orlando, FL from T-Mobile and managed to some how get George Zimmerman’s old cell number. Yes, the same George Zimmerman who has been charged with second degree murder in the death of Trayvon Martin and is presently back in jail on revoked bond. Zimmerman’s address and info was tweeted by those who wanted to create a mob mentality against Zimmerman. Nice job. Needless to say, along with Zimmerman’s number came a boatload of death threats. According to Guy he received up to 70 death threats. The 49 year Orlando man moved out of his home and relocated his mother, who had lived with him, to a different location, fearing for both of their lives.
At age 49, Junior Alexander Guy got his first cell phone last month. The calls started immediately.
Strangers called at all hours. Some were insulting. Others angry. Sometimes, they threatened him.
“You murderer!”
“You deserve to die!”
By Day 2 he figured out what was going on: T-Mobile had given him the phone number formerly used by George Zimmerman, the Neighborhood Watch volunteer who fatally shot Trayvon Martin in February.
The number —407-435-2400 — was the one Zimmerman spelled out to a police dispatcher in a recorded call the night of the shooting that has since been widely circulated by news organizations and is available on the Internet.
Thankfully the cell number has finally been retired. Shame on those cowards that actually made calls and death threats no matter who was in possession of the cell number. You people deserve to be prosecuted in the same manner that you want George Zimmerman to be. In the end, those who purposely and willfully with malice and forethought may actually be more guilty of a crime than George Zimmerman.
WOW!!! EPIC-MRA of Lansing Poll … Romney 46% – Obama 45% … If Michigan is a Battlegorund State Obama Will Lose Badly in 2012
Michigan a Battle Ground state … EPIC poll has GOP challenger Mitt Romney leading President Barack Obama 46%-45%. Last month, the EPIC poll had Obama ahead 47%-43%. This poll had to send shock waves throughout the Obama reelection minion HQ. Is it possible that the dirty little secret is that blue collar, union states like Wisconsin and Pennsylvania are ripe to turn “red” in 2012? Democrats, the MSM and the Obama mouth pieces were quick to say that the Wisconsin recall election was nothing. Hardly, there is a movement happening that is not being reported by the MSM because it is in direct opposition to Obama.
President Barack Obama’s popularity in Michigan has slipped in recent months, leaving him in a dead heat with Republican challenger Mitt Romney, according to a new poll of state voters by EPIC-MRA of Lansing.
The poll, released this morning to the Free Press and four TV stations, shows Romney leading Obama 46%-45%, a reversal from the last EPIC poll in April which showed Obama ahead 47%-43%.
Obama’s personal and job approval numbers also have slipped, with 46% of Michiganders saying they have a favorable opinion of the president, and 41% approving of the job he’s doing.
Could this possible be a trend in Michigan as a result of what took place in Wisconsin, or a knee jerk reaction? As stated at NRO, wasn’t Romney’s opposition to the auto bailout supposed top make him toxic?

The Audacity of Obama’s AG Eric Holder … The Emails Referencing ‘Fast and Furious’ Weren’t Talking About ‘Fast and Furious’ … The Lying Kings!
It all depends on what is, is ‘Fast and Furious’, is …
Yesterday Barack Obama’s Attorney General Eric Holder told the House Judiciary Committee that the Justice Department emails discussing “Fast and Furious” were not related to the “Fast and Furious” gun running operation. Huh? Who knew that there was another “Fast and Furious” program that the DOJ was running? In an unrelated story, the missing 18 minutes of tape discussing ‘Watergate’ were not referencing Watergate either.
How very sad that the Obama administration is allowed to just lie to Congress and cover up the scandal of ‘Fast and Furious’. What a farce that Congress would go after Roger Clemons and not Holder. What priorities our government has.
Read the full story at CNS:
Attorney General Eric Holder claimed during congressional testimony today that internal Justice Department emails that use the phrase “Fast and Furious” do not refer to the controversial gun-walking operation Fast and Furious.
Under questioning from Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R-Utah), who read excerpts of the emails at a House Judiciary Committee hearing on Justice Department oversight, Holder claimed that the phrase “Fast and Furious” did not refer to Fast and Furious but instead referred to another gun-walking operation known as “Wide Receiver.”
However, the emails refer to both programs — “Fast and Furious” and the “Tucson case,” from where Wide Receiver was launched — and reveal Justice Department officials discussing how to handle media scrutiny when both operations become public.
The Lonely Conservative wonders how Holder can keep straight face while answering the questions when he is lying at best. Actually, I wonder how he is not struck down by lightening and what is taking Congress to file contempt of Congress charges against this guy? Grow a set Boehner.
