Authorities have identified the man who was beaten to death by a Texas father after he found the man attempting to rape his 5 year old daughter. Lavaca County Sheriff Micah Harmon said that the 23 year old father killed 47 year old Jesus Mora Flores from Gonzales, Texas. Jesus Mora Flores was killed on the afternoon of June 9 on a rural farm pasture on County Road 302 between Shiner and Yoakum after the child’s dad caught him trying to sexually assault his daughter.

Lavaca County Sheriff Micah Harmon said that the 23-year-old father killed Jesus Mora Flores, 47, from Gonzales, Texas. The sheriff said Flores was not in the U.S. illegally and was in possession of a green card also known as a permanent resident card. Investigators have been working with Mexican Consulate officials to locate his family, the news release revealed.
Harmon previously indicated that it is unlikely that the father, who has not been identified to protect his daughter, will face any criminal charges. It seems even less likely in light of some new details that have been released.
But it is now clear that the father walked into a even more horrifying scene than previously known.
“When emergency medical personnel arrived, Jesus Mora Flores‘ pants and underwear were down and the man’s genitals were exposed,” Harmon was quoted saying in the press release, as reported by the Victoria Advocate.
Good riddance. There is not a grand jury that would find fault with what this father did. With the latest details that have come out in the case, every father would have beaten the piece of dirt to death, remorse be damned.

One less scum bag in the world. The father saved us money we now don’t have to pay for his lawyer or his keep. The POS got what he deserved.
A green card can be purchased. The fact that he had one in his possession does not automatically make him legal. I hope this has been checked with INS.
This area of Texas was settled by Germans in the 19th century. I lived in an adjacent county in the late 1950′s. These people are family people and the fathers are very protective of them.
I wonder how many other children this creep molested? Also wonder how many children the girl’s father SAVED from being molested by that monster?
This guy has been determined to be an illegal from Mexico operating on a purchased fake green card. It may take a while to determine his real idenity. How many times has he done this in the past? For all we know, he could be on the run from Mexico for similar crimes.
The body was sent to Travis County (Austin) for the autopsy. The cause of death was blunt force tramma to the head and a broken neck.
The Texas law allows a legal homeowner to protect his family and property from criminal activity even if the person was invited and then later attempted a crime. Deadly force is allowed if a person is attacking a family member.

If it would have been me in this dad’s shoes, it would have been hard to stop beating him, even after I’d realized he was already dead.. NO ONE messes with my children!!! I pray to God to give this dad and his family the peace they need.
Doesn’t it seem odd to anyone that he arrived at the hospital with his pants down, genetals exposed. Seems like if he was busted by the dad he’d pull his pants up. Plus, what about the fact that this guy was going to take a little girl back to a barn and rape her with other people there. She’d be bleeding, crying, and getting all kinds of attention.
What about the possibility that things got out of had at a BBQ with beer. A guy got murdered as a result of a fight, and they pulled his pants down, coached a little girl to keep her dad out of prison, and called the cops. It just doesn’t smell right and I don’t think we know enough to take dad at face value. He has a BIG reason to lie.

John’s theory could be possible but unfortunately we will never know the exact truth because the other party involved in the incident is now dead!! Any father would of done the same thing this Texan dad did bit that’s the whole point we have system; so we don’t take justice in our own hand.

Sometimes you have to take the law into your hands when the law is not there. That’s why thankfully we have conceal carry permits. This was obviously one of them. I am sure they are not releasing all the details because of an assault on a minor. The authorities do know when someone is lying and the hospital certainly did check out the girl.
